I had a 90 minute massage earlier, compliments of Eric Luther. It had been 3 years since my last massage. Eric is professional, listens closely, and checks in with you throughout the massage. My neck, shoulders, and lower back were in dire straits but by the end of my 90 minutes, I felt like a new person. For the first time in 3 years I was able to extend my right arm as far as my left, and it felt great. His work on my hips and lower back was exactly what I needed. read more

I've been traveling extensively for the past four months and desperately needed a good massage. Laurie At The Water's Edge did exactly that! I booked a 90 minute deep tissue hot stone massage here after seeing the other Yelp reviews. Laurie discussed all my needs and preferences in advance and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure the pressure was just right. I came away feeling like all the travel aches and pains were sent out to sea with the ebbing tide. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for the best massage tailored to your specific needs. Enjoy! read more

Laurie Schell is an amazing massage therapist! I was very sore and stressed from a long car trip, and I was so lucky to get an appointment with Laurie at At The Water's Edge. I just had the most excellent 90 min deep tissue massage from Laurie, and feel like a new person! I highly recommend Laurie for massage therapy at At The Water's Edge in Seaside, she is absolutely wonderful! 10 out of 10 stars!! read more

I came here because my usual massage therapist was full and I was struggling with some pain. I was pretty disappointed that after mentioning the areas I wanted focus on a few times, by the end of the massage, they had not been addressed. I came here because of the great reviews, so maybe this was just an off day for the therapist? But I won't be going back. read more

Had my first professional massage by Lynne. She understood my injuries and has an amazing healing touch and technique. Professional, personable, with amazing massage skills. Experienced (not a glorified spa worker like many) with a good grasp on therapeutic massage and addressing injury and proper technique for healing. Peaceful setting. Very comfortable. Highly recommend!!! read more

Called for a last minute massage (hoping to get in!!!) and they accommodated so sweetly. Billie was extraordinary. I get massages weekly or biweekly all over the world and Billie is top notch. Her technique made me feel completely at home even though we'd never met, and her pressure and intuition was on point. So glad I took a chance. What a wonderful afternoon relaxation session. Will definitely be back! read more

I had the best massage here! Very clean and calm room and my therapist was so amazing. She was great at asking how the pressure was and making sure to work on my specified areas. She really listened to me and I feel so much better today! Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back again in the future read more

Great service! My boyfriend and I came for a couple's massage during the holidays and had Billie and Shelby. They were both awesome and got a lot of stress out of our muscles. The room was really nice too and you could see wildlife and the river from our room. They also use some lovely scented oils and play nice relaxing music. Would definitely come back! They're pricing is also good too, our couple's massage was $180 for an hour. read more

I've been dealing with some hip pain for awhile and walking has been painful. I made an appointment with Shelby James, LMT, and she was amazing! She helped loosen my tight hip and back muscles while at the same time providing a relaxing massage. I left feeling renewed, relaxed, and pain free! By the end of the massage, I already couldn't wait to make another appointment and go back! She also showed me some stretches I can do at home to help with my hip and I showed these stretches to my husband, and they helped him with his back too! Thank you, Shelby and the wonderful staff at At The Water's Edge for the wonderful care you provide your clients. read more

Amanda is one of the best masseuses I have ever experienced! To begin, the atmosphere at At The Water's Edge immediately puts you in a relaxed state: the building is clean, welcoming, quiet, and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The service I received from Amanda was nothing short of expert! She immediately identified areas of my body where I have had past injuries/tightness, and offered an array of techniques within my 60 minute session. Amanda's expertise and professional demeanor are among the finest I have experienced as a very regular massage client at "luxury" spas around the world. I cannot recommend At The Water's Edge enough to anyone in surrounding areas- and Amanda is simply the best! Do yourself a favor and book a massage ASAP! read more

Billie is a goddess. I've had off and on back pains working at a desk job, and since I saw her, I haven't had any pain in weeks. (Don't get me wrong, she will leave you sore, but it's superficial soreness that leaves you satisfied). read more

My wife and I were in seaside for a much needed vacation and came here to get a massage. We did a couple's massage and we got Asheley and Ambre. They were exceptionally professional and tailored the session to meet our individual requests. The space was clean and peaceful and I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed. The pricing was reasonable as well. Thanks again guys! read more

I had a massage from Billie today and it was amazing! She can really feel where your body needs the most work and fixes it. Her intuition is so on point and got knots out that I didn't notice until she was working on them. The price is comparable to the other places in Seaside and Portland and absolutely worth it. The facility is on one of the main roads (Holladay) but could not hear traffic at all but still had a great view of the river. I will definitely come back again! Thank you Billie for a great massage! read more

I'm a long time athlete with several injuries over the years. Asheley found every one of them and went above and beyond during my massage to fire nerves around inflamed areas. She is very interested in healing the body. I greatly appreciated the first class facility as well. Thank you! read more

My husband and I were on vacation, and decided to get a couples massage At the Water's Edge, Ambre and Billie both did a wonderful job. I had Billie and sometimes I wondered if she actually had four hands??? They were both professional and it was the icing on the cake of our vacation. The venue is clean and nicely appointed. read more

I visit Seaside on a regular basis, but this was the first time I saught out a massage. After reading the reviews and scrolling through the pictures, this place looked great. I saw Billie, and let me tell you, her years of experience shine through. I get massages on a biweekly basis for physical therapy reasons, and Billie has some absolutely amazing techniques. Not only did she listen to my needs, she always checked in and was incredibly kind. Her deep tissue, assisted stretching, and vibrational work were tremendous. I absolutely loved how when I was face up, I could look outside and see swans floating on the water. Some seagulls even landed on the rooftop and started chuckling, which made us laugh as well! I will definitely be returning on my visits to Seaside! read more

My boyfriend and I came here to get a couples massage while in town. I've previously had a few in my life and he had had two (one of which hurt his back). It was AMAZING. They were so very accommodating and made us feel so comfortable!! He had Billie who knew exactly where to focus on his hurting back. I had Ashley who made me feel like butter. I've had enough massages to know that the two of them do SUCH a good job. We'll be back next time we're in town! read more

Billie and Amber gave my fiancée and I the best massages we've ever had. Very concerned and adept. Billie is obviously a master of her craft and Amber was able to find all the spots I needed worked on and made me walk better when I left. Wonderful massage from Asheley yesterday! I broke my shoulder 3 years ago and am facing surgery: I get a lot of massages and she is one of the best therapists I've had. Feeling great today, even though she got "in deep"! Wonderful vibe of the waterfront salon, reasonable prices and booking was easy- last minute, online, by phone etc. Highly recommend them! read more

Billie gave me a 90 minute massage. She was excellent--however, prior to giving the massage, she asked me if I would like her to work on any particular body part. I answered that I would like my feet worked on. She never did that. But what she did work on, she was excellent. read more

We booked a couple deep tissue message at the last minute. They only had one therapist available but Ashley came in and my husband was very glad she did! We get frequent messages and he found her to be one of the best therapists he's had. She listened to him explain where his issues were and she went right to work. Ambre also provides the same level of care, spending a lot of focused time on my areas that needed specific attention. She may be little but she's powerful! One of the best therapists I've ever had also. These ladies are exceptional! My only regret is that they don't live close to us :( read more

I can't say enough good things about this place :) The atmosphere is uplifting and rejuvenating, the staff genuinely care about your overall health and well-being, and it's so easy and flexible to book a massage. Asheley is my go to massage therapist. She tailors each individual session to meet your specific treatment needs, and her expertise and knowledge in the field is admirable and reassuring. I felt like she actually took the time to listen to what my needs were, and then addressed them with a high degree of care, compassion, knowledge, and insight. I have complex back issues after a bad car, wreck so I'm not an easy case. It's hard to find the words to describe the relief that I've felt after having gone here. Unending gratitude. Thanks much Asheley! read more

My husband and i decided to treat ourselves to a 90 minute couples massage during our honeymoon at the Water's Edge. It was incredible! I had Ashley and he had Ambre. We both loved our massages and during our massage we both were hoping the other was getting just as good as of a massage. Well we did! It was beyond both of our expectations. Both of the gals were super nice and professional. The environment was lovely and they let us choose our essential oil which was relaxing. They both used hot towels on us and hot pads. The moment Ashley found a sore muscle or knot she would start working on it leaving me super relaxed. And my husband agreed with his experience as well. They both used techniques that others don't and we were both highly impressed. I'm usually ticklish on my feet but she knew how to just do it right without tickeling me lol. From massaging my recent back injury To massaging my scalp and just about every part of my body, it was all AMAZING!! We have been to different massage therapists and these ladies were by far the best we have ever had (not exaggerating). Definitely recommend them and this place! read more
