Ocean Spa - Live Green Wall - Day Spas Near Me - Cannon Beach, Oregon

I've had at least 50 massages in my life and this was one of the best! I highly recommend booking with Scott! He was extremely professional, getting an understanding of what I was looking for (neck, shoulders, etc) and really customizing it for me. I got the 60 min with CBD oil and he included scraping in it! Scott was great about checking in, asking if I was comfortable with certain things especially as a male massage therapist with a female client. It was extremely respectful and professional. And best of all, the message was amazing! It was swedish but still firm where it needed to be and super focused on my problem areas. Overall the front desk was also very nice and professional, the interior is really pretty, booking online was easy, and they had water and a mint waiting for me when I was done! The room was so nice and they even can do couples massages here! I will definitely be back here on my next trip to Cannon Beach! read more

My husband and I both received the ocean melt away foot treatment. 45 minutes of bliss and relaxation. We started with a foot soak, then moved to heated massage tables, and enjoyed the most wonderful foot and leg massages with hot stones. My husband didn't want a pedicure or full massage, the foot bar was the perfect option. I'm definitely going back next time we are in Cannon Beach. read more

Stumbled into this lovely spa on a rainy day. Booked appts for myself, partner and our son. All three is us loved and really appreciated Scott's handiwork. He is strong and intuitive and listens to his client's needs. What a gift to our bodies. Can't thank him enough for the time he took with each of us. He's a gifted therapist. Thank you!! Shout out to Amy at front desk for her warmth and kindness to us as well. read more

My partner and I got a couples massage and the staff were so friendly and tailored our massages to use individually. The spa was so cute and we love it! I can't wait to come back here read more

Absolutely wonderful spa!! My wife and I had back to back 90-minute massages (one deep tissue, one Swedish) both were incredible! Highly, highly recommend this spot in Cannon Beach! They communicated very well as we were coming in from out of town, gave us some recommendations, top notch!! read more

Wonderful massage with Scott!! The best I've ever had . Beautiful facility and check in.

My friend and I came here for a weekend getaway. We had 90 mins deep tissue massage. Scott did mine and Melissa helped my friend. They are both excellent. Scott really can feel where is my tension and he gave me the exact pressure I was hoping for. I feel my whole body was opened up after the massage. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and welcoming. Will definitely recommend here. read more

Diana provided the best micro-current facial. The products she used were lovely. Her facial massage techniques were the best and my skin looked younger and plumper. There was no redness so you could do this before a special event too! I highly recommend Diana and her services. The Ocean Spa is beautiful, quiet and relaxing as well. read more

Both Melissa (my massage therapist) and the sweetest lady at the front desk (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!) were very warm, welcoming, and made my birthday morning incredible. I'll definitely be stopping by on all future canon beach trips. read more

ZERO STARS FOR OCEAN SPA. We are majorly disappointed! Ocean Spa was locked with lights out when My friend and I arrived for two deluxe treatments booked 3 weeks in advance and confirmed via text (initiated by the spa). We waited 15 minutes and came back again after 45 minutes to find our note still stuck between the locked doors. Now, 24 hours later ,we have yet to hear from them in response to two voicemails, an email and the note. The treatment a very much anticipated, deckadent gift from my husband on 50th Birthday. I can not believe the lack of professionalism we have experienced; first to be completely stood up, and secondly to have no follow up from the business. Shame on you! read more

I treated my two adult daughters, and my sister-in-law to a Sand Dollar Swedish massage last week, and all three ladies enjoyed their massages very much! I heard complimentary remarks from them about how relaxed they felt after their massages! Tess, at the front desk is great, she is very professional, friendly, and helpful. She helps to create a very welcome environment at Ocean Spa! My husband and I look forward to having a couples massage in the future! read more

Had the most amazing 90 minute Swedish massage from Connie. Firm but not aggressive pressure and she has amazing technique - just kind of lulled me into a trance and felt so relaxing. Very lovely and clean space centrally located on the main strip in town. Highly recommend! read more

A truly fabulous spa experience today with my niece. Scott is a talented, very respectful massage therapist. Highly recommend.

Great spa! I had a hand and foot treatment done. It had a foot soak, sugar scrub, and a mini massage. They don't list this on their website services menu, but it's available in their booking section. Therapist who prepared my foot soak was very nice in making sure the water temperature is good. She also offered me tea which was a nice gesture. The second therapist who did the actual treatment was efficient and knew what she was doing! I wish the message was a bit longer, but since it was only a 60 minutes treatment, I understand that it doesn't leave a lot of time. Next time I'll go for something longer. The decor and the space was lovely and clean. Safe covid experience! read more

I had a wonderful massage with Shawn. The spa is a welcoming, warm haven from the rain. I love the Doterra products that they offer too. I highly recommend this spa. read more

My massage therapist had great hands and would get 5 stars! But........... I took my Mom for a package - wrap and 1 hour massage. Booked a month in advance. Showed up to hear only one could have the desired wrap treatment I reserved, Clay/mud wrap and my mom requested another kind (seaweed) as she wasn't jazzed about the one I chose for us. They managed to switch our treatments so neither of us got our desired choice of wrap. Reception person gets one star for her people skills. Not friendly or welcoming. No lingering in the Steam-room even if you are the first client of the day and come early. Felt hurried and rushed! Ended up with a 40 minute massage not 60. I was a return client and my last experience was relaxed and wonderful. This was anything but. I will not be returning. I'll be going to the other available spas at Cannon Beach! read more

If you're in Cannon Beach on vacation, this is the place to go for a massage! Whether it's a deep tissue or Swedish, it's going to be amazing. The atmosphere of the spa is exactly what you expect from a spa by the sea - open, bright, relaxing. And it just smells so relaxing. From the check in to the check out, nothing should stress you here! I had a deep tissue massage with Eliza and she was just absolutely wonderful. When you check in, they ask on the intake paper work if you have any specific areas you would like to focus on and any issues they should be aware of and then Eliza talked to me about both so she really understood what it was I needed and how to safely take care of my body! Which as an athletic trainer, I really appreciate. I had a back surgery back in November where my scar is still sensitive and needs working on and Eliza was really able to take scare of it the way my coworkers and physical therapist do!! Our conversation through the entire session was delightful and I definitely can't wait till I'm back in Cannon Beach to work out another year's stress! read more

I booked a couples massage and was very nervous. I wrote down on the slip they had me fill out that this was my first time ever receiving a massage. My boyfriend had a female therapist and I had a male therapist and was not happy at all. I ended up having a panic attack from being so uncomfortable and sat in the front waiting area while my boyfriend got a massage. His massage was cut short and he asked for them to go as deep as possible and he said it was still too light for his liking. They told him they would refund me for my half but I was not compensated. Wouldn't recommend this place for anyones first massage if you are uncomfortable having someone of the opposite sex touch you. The shop was pretty but claustrophobic in the massage room itself and way too warm in every room. read more

The spa is lovely and well put together. Over priced in my opinion. Massage was okay but I'm pretty disappointed in my massage therapist who was very obviously "killing time" for 15 minutes at the end, waiting for my friends massage therapist to finish (we were doing a couples massage so both of us were in the same room) I "upgraded" to a 90 minute deep tissue and he basically petted me. Not even close to enough pressure in the areas I specifically asked him to focus on-trapezius, rhomboids and deltoids. I made it very clear that I have chronic pain, am a deep tissue junkie, and to not be shy, dig in there. I was so so frustrated with the end of my massage after paying that much money. I don't know how to be more clear about what is wanted than I was. Bummer they couldn't deliver. read more

Heidi did a wonderful job! My first professional leg wax was quick and virtually pain free! The spa is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Products are high quality and smell wonderful and the rooms are so relaxing. My new fave after work stop! read more

My mom, sister and I walked in and asked for us all to be seen at the same time. They coordinated 2 massages and 1 facial at the same time so we could all get pampered together. I had the facial and it was AMAZING! I felt so refreshed and bright afterwards. I even fell asleep and that is like the best compliment for any esthetician!!! I highly highly recommend this place for a spa day. We made the best memory here. read more

This is an oasis in one of my favorite towns on the Oregon Coast. We were able to book two massages for me and my daughter a day in advance. The massages were great! Worked with us on scheduling couples massage and treatment. Both were fabulous. Kind and friendly staff. We will be back yet again!

I came to Ocean Spa for a spray tan and had a great experience. The woman that worked the front desk explained all the different levels and tones that I could tan and helped walk me through the various positions. She helped me find the perfect mix for my engagement photos! I definitely will be back for a massage. Very cute relaxing setting and a perfect way to relax on a beach weekend. read more

My wife and I came here a month ago and were pleasantly surprised. We get massages often and like to try new places. (We've been to two other Spas in the area by the way) While the atmosphere was nice, like a lot of places, the two masseuses we had were some of the BEST EVER. Holli and Jessica. They both were amazing and I thought Holli was the best massage I've ever had. 90 mins is the way to go too! We will be coming back here the next time we are in Cannon Beach. read more

My boyfriend and I got massages for the first time at this place and loved it! We will definitely be stopping by when we are in town again:) It was a very relaxing setting and there was a fire place in the room which was awesome. Highly recommended this spa and next time I really want to try the CBD massage. Side note: don't read these poor rated reviews because they are clearly not a reflection of the Spa. And I love how Holli the owner sticks up for her employees. The customer is NOT always right :)) read more

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary by visiting Cannon Beach for the weekend. We both enjoyed the spa package. This was a highlight of our time in Cannon Beach! Compared to all of the spa visits we've done including Waikoloa Village Resort HI, Aspen Spa Leavenworth WA, Lithia Springs, Ashland OR, this visit was well worth it! The sauna/steam/shower facility enhances the package and is really impressive. I highly recommend Scott. He is very skilled and professional. I went away feeling refreshed, and will definitely go back and ask for Scott again next time! read more

I originally had written this review yesterday and only gave it 3 stars but the manager called me today and we had such a nice conversation that I'm updating my review. I respect businesses that admit and are willing to address their mistakes. They clearly care about their customers having a serene and relaxing spa experience and I can genuinely say - with the exception of the woman at the front desk - that the spa is lovely and the services are top notch. From earlier review: It's always disappointing when you have a really nice spa experience but the front desk staff is so rude and unhelpful that you never want to return to the spa again. That was my experience at Ocean Spa today. I loved my hand and foot rub but will not be returning because the woman at the front desk is not a nice person and shouldn't be customer facing. read more

This is a beautiful, welcoming and relaxing place. I had a CBD massage with Eliza and it was absolutely wonderful. After being on the road for more than two months, I really needed the kinks worked out and Eliza's skillful TLC was just the trick. I walked out feeling 100% better! I will definitely return to Ocean Spa next time I'm in Cannon Beach. read more

The manager was super rude to my sister (who has high functioning autism) when she went in to use the restroom. "I AM THE OWNER AND THIS IS NOT A COMMUNITY GATHERING" she loudly said to her, which was really snotty and quite frankly almost brought her to tears. We simply walked in and walked out with no disruptions. And there was no sign outside that said we could not use the restroom. Please, as a manager of a business in a touristy town, be courteous to those that walk in. Her attitude really put a damper on our day at the beach. She could've simply made her point clear while being polite and professional. read more

I got a hand/foot package while on vacation. It was wonderful! It started with a private foot soak overlooking downtown. I was offered water or tea (the orange tea was delicious!). Then I was led into a relaxing massage room for the rest of the treatment. I loved the piano music in the background. The room was perfect temperature, the music volume was just right, and the smell was pleasing but not overwhelming. The massage consisted of a scrub, thick lotion, and a lighter lotion. I would go back in a heartbeat! read more

The absolute best 90 min message I've ever had. And had them in many places. Cherie was amazing!

Really nice place. We had a couples massage and it was a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, without being over the top. Your visit begins with a 15 minute steam sauna. A thoughtful way to start out massage. My guy was great. He did a deep tissue treatment even though I was signed up for a Swedish. My husband really liked his therapist and she also gave him a deep tissue treatment. So if you like a light touch you might want to make it known. Great pricing through Groupon. read more
