I've been coming to Le Petit pretty regularly now since they reopened following Covid shut down. I've made last minute appointments, weeks in advance appointments and walk-in service also. The owner Mia is wonderful, her small spa space is just the perfect space to relax for a pedicure in every way. On line appointment booking is easy and when I've called and left a message I get a return call within the hour. Professional service, excellent products, clean, quiet, and affordable. I feel spoiled every time I leave. PS... when you do go I recommend you go a bit early to your appointment and get a little massage while waiting in the spa chair :) read more

Im very, disappointed with the service. The Woman does a great job, but the guy is not really good. Plus he is really agresive as well. I went a few times cause I said, I like the work they do. However, one time, I told her that if she can do my manicure whit hot water. and she said that she do it without water. And I say OK but my hands really drive. Can you do it and she said why you do it like that. So well, Mexico getting my manicure like that. And she told me, but you're leaving in American now, so I feel that her coming in was very racist, and yesterday I went for another appointment that I book, a specifically with her and the husband, and then doing the terrible manicure, and he told me when I say that I want hot water. He told me you are very picky. and at the beginning of the conversation, he asked me how I was doing, and I said I. I'm good. Just working, and you know cleaning the house, laundry and then he smile and say you pay someone to clean your house, and he said, don't be cheap, and literally the one I'm doing right here. Who is this guy? He doesn't know me. He has no right to tell me how to manage my life in my money, so if you planning to go there, I suggest you to think it twice. read more

Take more time with each client, and don't cater to every clients whim. Be assertive about your time and the time others who are more considerate of your time. read more

I moved to Astoria 3 weeks ago. A mani/pedi was way overdue. La Petit Astoria Spa has the best Yelp reviews! So I made an appointment. Now I see why... Mai and Chris are such nice people. Mai offered acrylics and I explained 'acrylics' ruin my natural nail. So she offered an acrylic LIKE nails which protects my natural nails. My mother and I were pleasantly surprised by this nail salon. Mai and Chris her son are a first-rate team, wanting to make sure you enjoy your experience, which we did. From the scented foot water, lotions and massages to the actual nail trimming and painting we were pampered. We will definitely return. This nail salon is such a gem. After having relocated to the North Oregon Coast just over a year ago, I was pretty disappointed with the nail salons in the area. I recently discovered Le Petit in Astoria and will never go to another salon, so long as I live in the area. Mae is so sweet and accommodating and I have received so many compliments on my nails. They accept cash or card too which is very convenient. Also, they are open on Sundays! Such a treat. read more

Chris and Mai are great folks and very talented and capable... however they over schedule resulting in my last manicure taking over 2 hours from start to finish despite having an appointment. 5 other customers also had appointments with Chris and Mai for the time slot I was there. While visiting friends in Astoria we got the wild idea to go get pedicures. Great idea! Except it was Sunday and Clatsop County had only just opened up from lockdown. We started calling spas. On our third call we struck gold when Mai, the owner, said she could get us in. At 12:00 noon which was in 7 minutes . She told us it would be $35 for each of us. Her salon is located on Marine Drive, which has lots of parking to choose from. Simply put we received one of the best pedicures ever, and Mai made us feel so welcome and relaxed that I will be paying her business another call the next time I am in the Astoria area. I hate to do this because businesses are hurting everywhere right now. We had an appointment for three people at 2:00 which we promptly arrived on time for. We waited 50 minutes for one woman to work on two of us while our other party member waited over an hour for her pedicure to begin. They only had two nail techs and an assistant there (who walked out mid massage to do an errand) to help the three of us. We were there from 2:00-4:05 for three pedicures. Two of us were supposed to get manicures but we just didn't have the time or patience. Not to mention I couldn't get gel because they only have ONE LED light. I'm not sure how they ever thought they could accommodate the three of us. Also the gel pedicures were $75 and the other was $65. They neglected to tell us how much more it would be. This is the most I've ever paid for a pedicure. These are full spa prices and we couldn't believe after all the waiting and frustration they charged us these outrageous prices. We also overheard another patron ask why the woman who owned the salon (we are assuming) was doing one hand with gels and one hand with dip. She explained that it was to see which would last longer. Bizarre. Never coming back which is a shame because this it is so cute and options are slim in this area. read more

Absolutely amazing!! I haven't been to a salon where the people were so sweet. She always asked me how I was doing or how I was liking my nails throughout the way. Super funny and outgoing, I never felt awkward or serious. Her son was also very sweet. Gave me a towel and heater to dry off the rain! Both were very funny and sweet people. Small nail salon in downtown, but by far BEST nail salon experience I've ever had nice relaxing music in the background. She even covered me up with a blanket and brought me ice cold water very reasonably priced. Give this place a try!!!! read more
