I came here on Wednesday Jan 22nd for my birthday and got a full set of acrylic nails. Definitely wasn't the best experience that I've had. Normally nail techs will push the cuticle back and trim around the nails and whatnot, I did not get that. When he was filing my acrylic nail on my pinky, he cut my pinky (not terrible but still he cut it). The acrylic isn't all the way on my nail like to the back, not super smooth. The shape isn't bad either. But it's definitely a little wider than what I wanted but I didn't want him to file more. When it came time to pay I handed him $50 and my husband was bringing the rest of the money in. Total was $55 and he told my husband $15 more. And we couldn't get that extra money back. My mother in law goes in here all the time and likes them but I'm not a fan. I was wanting to go somewhere else on my birthday but they were closed that week. It is pretty quiet in there, soft music playing. They didn't talk much. The wife talked to me more than he did. Only things he said was "what shape" and the price. Other than that it was a pretty awkward appointment. The color of my nails is amazing. I just wish I had a better experience. Also normally nail techs are nice and pretty gentle but he wasn't. Filing my nails too rough. Kinda swatted my hand out of the way. I don't know if it's just me but I thought I'd put my experience out there for others. read more

The poorest pedicure that I have ever had. Not friendly, minimal effort and a huge disappointment. No foot scrub, no foot/leg massage, didn't clean under toenails, and had attitude when I asked for a toenail to be clipped a little shorter. This is not a place that I would return to. read more

Poor application of nails. Poor quality of sculpted nails. Two nails lifted and came off. I tried to explain why I wouldn't pay for the nails that lifted, soon after application. Anyway owner's were very rude, even mean. I was asked not to return. Which was fine with me. I had and have no interest in returning. New owners started earlier this year. Called earlier in the day and they said they could do us both after noon. We showed up a few minutes after and sat and waited about 10 minutes then we were taken back to start our pedicure. One at a time......most unexciting pedicure ever!!! We generally have a deluxe pedicure with hot rocks, scrubs, Callous removal, three types of creams, hot towel, hot wax and a long scrub. That's with a french nail polish too! TODAY, none of the above and we paid the same as in Las Vegas, St George, anywhere. My grandmother would take my grandfather on a date here in his last years to maintain his feet care. The wonderful gentleman who works there noticed right away that he had special needs and took him immediately in his care every time. He did an excellent job on my grandfathers feet which were in rough shape to say the least. The environment was calm and relaxing which was exactly what he needed. We cannot be thankful enough for some of the great memories this place provided for my grandparents. read more

Don't normally like to leave reviews for bad experiences. I walked in asking for an acrylic fill tried to charge me $80 because my "nails were long" (normally cost about $40) left with air bubbles in my nails and polish all over my hand for $65. read more

This place is wonderful and I would give it six stars if I could. We went in for a walk-in, two pedicures and one manicure and the service was prompt, very friendly, very decent price and we were in and out of there in an hour! They have the craziest system here. IF you call and get a morning appointment, great. Everyone else has to come and wait to get served. It can be two hours! No tv, no nothing. I'm sorry - these folks are sweet, hard working (just 2 of them) and they do a good job, but this system is crazy and doesn't value clients' time at all! Also it's cash only, so be forewarned. A horrible experience! Day before Christmas Eve... went in for gel manicure. I chose a red for color. As soon as David began, I could tell that he wasn't interested in doing a good job, let a lone what I had originally requested, (which was a French manicure)... He sanded my gel nail polish off, instead of soaking them off. My nails were sanded down to the point that I had to cut all my nails off, because they are so weak!! The polish was going on in globs so I suggested that I pick another color... He ignored me and continued to to paint my nails... I mentioned it again and he again ignored me... That evening the first nail pealed on one finger. I called and they said come in and if I make it in time they can repair it! They were closing soon and leaving the country for the holidays! I made it right in time, and showed him the blob of nail polish on one finger and suggested he redo all my nail as I could tell they were weak and wanting to peel. David ignored me again and frankly I had company coming! NOT COVENANT! The first time I arrived in town, I dropped by and showed the photo's of the next two days, of my gel pealing! I just moved to the area and I was in desperate need of a gel manicure after unloading a moving truck. I had extremely thick bio gels on that were done very poorly in Los Angeles. The man who took care of me was very gentle and made sure he got all the thick gels off and started with a fresh nail. My nails feel fresh, light and normal now. They also have a ton of gel polish colors to choose from. The wait can be long if you do not have an appointment - it's not a typical walk in nail place where it's "get in and get out" - they actually care and sanitize properly, so it's worth it. I think they have a pretty smooth system for a team of 2 running a busy business. I will definitely be back. read more

Came in for a same day gel mani and pedi with a friend. As appointments are required they called us when they had a cancellation and were able to squeeze us in. When we arrived they were patient even though we were 10 minutes late. Wonderful people to work with and did a great job on our nails! Total was $65 per person without tip. Not worth going to. It was the only nail salon in Seaside so I figured I would give it a shot but it was the worst job I've ever had. They got me in the same day which I was appreciative of, the service was okay. Employees seem nice enough. No TVs to watch or anything, just kinda stare around. Service was rushed but I figured it was because I made a same day appointment and maybe they had others to do. They got my full gel set done in 30 minutes.. charged $55..??? I wanted mid-length almond shape nails but the nail tech informed me that would be $10 extra? Lol.. so I just got these. She didn't take any time to check the symmetry. It was a completely rushed job. I'm from out of town and find the prices outrageous, figure they're milking the fact that they are the only salon in town which is whatever. I'm from Tacoma and my nail tech always spends at least an hour on a full gel set, checking the symmetry of both hands and really shaping the nails appropriately, this place definitely had me leaving feeling disappointed. If you're ever in Tacoma, Washington check out Viet Nails in the University Place area! You'll get a real pampering experience there! Kevin did my nails, new to the area so I'm happy I found a place similar to my last. Prices are a little higher then I am used to in California like they also charged $10 to remove my old gel on top of the $30 for the gel mani. We're staying in Cannon Beach and wanted mani-pedis. This place was one of only two I could find online. It was easy to find and in a good location - a small strip mall off the highway. They got us right in and we're friendly, efficient and did a nice job. The location is clean and has 3 or 4 pedicure chairs and 2 tables for manicures. Lots of magazines to look and and a great polish selection, including gel. My best friend got a gel manicure and it looked great. I got a regular manicure and pedicure and it was exactly what I wanted. If you want to be seen early, get an appointment because walk-ins don't start until noon. Make sure to bring cash because they don't take cards. read more

First off, I should of listened to all these bad reviews cause they're all right. I went in yesterday to get my nails done because I came in from out of town to visit family and had a couple break and you know you can't do anything with a few broken nails. So I went, my set is pretty except my thumb nails! The one she "fixed" is twice as big as my other thumb. It looks ridiculous, one of my thumbs looks like a spoon. I went in today to have it fixed and waited for 35 minutes for her to look at me and laugh and say "oh that's how your thumb is, your right thumb is bigger than your left. I can shape it down so it's so thin it breaks" and I just looked at her in disbelief and asked her what sense that makes. I've had my nails done for years! And have never had my hands look like this. I've never been to a more unprofessional shop where they sit there and laugh in your face and say oh well. Don't go here. Don't waste your money and have the same thing happen to you. If I could give this company (couple) a negative star, I would. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I heard second hand that they spoke poorly about their customers in their native toung right in front of them, unknowing that one of their customers spoke their language and could understand what they were saying. They proved their toxicity when they loudly expressed their displeasure of a family member, who is cognitively declining, in front of all the other customers in the salon. They could have had a quiet and calm conversation with them, but proved that they have very little respect for all of the customers with this display. I recommend staying away from this salon. read more

Reading the reviews made me a little nervous about using this place but they were the closest place in town so by default they were the chosen place. I am so happy they were because they not only got me in quickly without an appointment but the polish job was excellent! I typically don't get any color on my nails because I feel that if it's just polish, as opposed to gel, it peels off in just a couple of days. This day I decided to go for it and the polish lasted almost 2 weeks!!!! Totally impressed! There were only 2 employees, who I assume were husband and wife, so eventhough they sat me quickly it did take a little bit for them (him to be more exact) to actually start my pedicure but worth the wait for sure!!! read more

Well, I have to agree with several of the other reviewers. I went in for a pedi, waited about twenty minutes and was taken to a chair. The water was lukewarm and while I waited for the guy to finish the customer next to me it only got cooler. This is a ma and pa shop... That's okay, but when they are doing manicures there is no one to give pedicures and visa versa. The pedicure was very basic... Trim, then basic nail care. A brief effort to scrub the heel and buff the nails and you are pretty much done. No exfoliation or de-callousing. I missed the sugar scrub exfoliation I've always had in the past. I'm used to a standard pedi lasting 45 minutes to an hour which included a sugar scrub and a serious effort at removing some callouses. This pedi lasted maybe 20 minutes top. No color for me, of course, but still I felt like I got a trim and soak, not a full pedi. For the price of $25 I think you should expect more. read more

Meh. This was my second try. The first visit for a manicure and the polish started coming off the next day. Today a mani/pedi upgraded to gel. I've only had gel once before and this looked nothing like it. Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. We'll see on the polish. On the bright side, both (husband & wife?) are very very nice. They take walk-ins in the afternoons but make an appointment at least a day in advance to avoid waiting. read more
