On 3/24/16, SEA's Moving moved me from Northern Columbia Co., NY to Rhinebeck, NY. I can't write enough superlatives in this little box to express my great satisfaction with the job that was done for me. I'm pretty sure that I couldn't have found a better mover than SEA's. The three man crew (Steve, Dean & Jerome) were on time to the job, professional (and amiable), thorough in protecting my furniture, careful, very hard working, and very fast (which ensured that my final bill was not "padded"). Additionally, Steve helped me fix two pieces of furniture that needed repair before I hired SEA's to move me. He's probably a rare "jewel" in the world of moving businesses. The company was amazing. I have a lot of heavy antique mirrored furniture. They were able to safely get my Grandmother's curved glass-front china cabinet safely to its destination along with everything else. Some of the old pieces had to be taken apart and put back together again. All was done quickly and correctly. Steven is a master packer. I couldn't believe he fit everything onto the truck and still had room for my patio furniture! Both Steven and Jerome were professional and courteous and eager to help me get everything where it needed to go. Best movers I've ever worked with! Very friendly, responsive, efficient, careful service. (They placed a piece of cardboard under their truck ramp to avoid scratching my driveway!) They come very prepared with the right equipment to protect your valuables (large rubber bands to secure fabric around furniture and walls to keep both from getting damaged). They even took a pile of my discarded junk to a local waste/recycling facility following the move, saving me the hassle of finding a separate junk removal company. Incredible! We had a 4 bedroom home, just under 4,000 sq ft, to move on 4/9/16. I wanted to go local so I chose SEA's. Soooo glad I did. They moved everything in under ten hours and came in under the estimated price. We had some tough items to move -- a 400 lbs. NordicTrak! Nothing we owned was damaged, nothing in our new home was marred or scratched, and the crew kept smiles on their faces all day. Very polite and professional and everyone spoke English. SEA's Moving did a fantastic job with our recent move from NY to NC. Steve and Larry took great care of our belongings, and we knew everything was in good hands. These guys are top notch! They were efficient and careful, stayed very close to the estimate they provided and were just great to work with. I've moved several times and this was by far the easiest move I have ever done, and that says a lot when you have a toddler. All our items were moved without any damage, boxes were placed in the correct rooms, and furniture was set right where I requested. Steven moved my daughter from Albany to Los Angeles. My wife and I also sent furniture including a heavy antique piano which Steven and his crew moved 2000 mile without a scratch. Steven efficiently packed the truck and carefully covered the furniture with blankets. He even towed her car. It was a long day. They had to haul stuff from our house in Cornwallville, NY, down to Washington Heights, NYC, unload that, then load up stuff from there in the city that had to go back to Cornwallville - then unload THAT haul. They even helped move furniture around after it was all unloaded. Such great service. A very long day for them and us. SEA's is a first-rate company. They handled all of it beautifully. They were absolutely amazing. Hiring movers was one of the best choices we made for our big move, and they couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Or faster! They were able to move our biggest, most cumbersome furniture, safely, so fast I couldn't believe it!
