It's exactly where they were working! And, "there's nothing that would have scratched there." It's exactly where the sharp edged gutter was brought up over the railing. I couldn't believe the lack of accountability which continued. They actually tried to say there were other spots along the railing that were banged up, which was actually just not-perfect staining over bumpy wood grain...not the same thing at all as the gauges left. When they offered to stain the railings, I declined, as I just wanted them out as soon as possible after feeling so hoodwinked and disrespected Also attached it a photo of a gutter that they had banged up early in their visit. Though they ended up using it where it couldn't be seen, which is fine, it is proof that there is carelessness involved in their work. Also attached is the horribly cut hole through our brand new deck for the gutter and a crookedly installed gutter. Shoddy and unaccountable.
