So I called in to order the left contacts, I was told they couldn't do that without an exam. I explained that I had one and just needed the one box. The tech seemed to understand and said she would give me 2 contacts on hand and order the rest. I picked up the 2 but never heard back on the rest. After 2 months, I called in to pick up the rest. Only to be told by the tech yourself that she couldn't order because the system said I already picked them up. Since my prescription expired, she would not order without an exam. I understood that but I will never again trust what My Eye doctor's staff promised. They do not follow through on their orders.

She incredibly thorough, with the appointment lasting almost four hours, and I am quite pleased with the compassion, service, expertise, and also the outcome. The exam itself was very thorough (most intensive I have ever received.) Dr. Nelson was very pleasant, and I didn't feel rushed when seeing him. The staff there was also very friendly. When it came time to choose a pair of glasses, the staff was helpful, but not pushy. I didn't feel like I was being 'talked into' anything. I was told the glasses may take 10 to 15 business days to receive, but to my surprise, I received a phone call 5 days later, saying they were ready! When I picked them up, they were just perfect! They even took the time to make sure they 'felt good' on my face, and adjusted them accordingly. I have been to several different optometrist's offices over the years, and this was by far my best experience! I'm glad I found them, and look forward to working with them in the future!

They were upfront about my investment, explained all options, and exhibited guest mentality from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I was so confused and simply expressing I don't understand and I am certain those were the glasses I got from visionworks for my son. I expressed that I was trying my best not to get frustrated and understand how this happened and her response was "oh you're not gonna get frustrated with me..." (I went deaf after that to avoid confrontation). I was instantly agitated and decided to step away because I wasn't rude, and I wasn't loud... I was simply and calmly stating that I'm so confused and frustrated that the warranty I paid for to have my sons glasses repaired, in the event that he broke them, is being denied on the premise the glasses don't match what's in the system. I'm merely seeking alternatives or trying to understand how this happened and this person is taking my (calm) opposition as a challenge to her personally. The level of professionalism displayed was so ugly. I eventually figured out the mix up and while it was on my end, her unprofessional attitude, lack of understanding and customer service oriented approach made me decide to go to find another place for my family to go to altogether. No one is perfect and mistakes happen, but don't get nasty with people who are simply trying to understand how a mix up happened. Even if she couldn't take them, she didn't mention promotions, specials, alternative out of pocket costs, nothing... she was just an a**hole so unexpectedly and unprovoked. Unbelievable with this place you go in and your expectations are high because it's one of the…read morepopular facilities and Hanover SMH it's unfortunate because I kept giving them a chance their office is super busy so you have to sit and wait on the phone forever just to get an appointment and then I get an appointment to see about Lasik obviously I was explained in detail since I'm over 40 I need the CLE so I was like okay so doctor quoted me a price and he did tell me he's not sure but he told me it was about $6,000 so I go back for my consultation already scheduled my eye surgery for both eyes and then I was told about $18,000 big difference but I got it the doctors don't really do that their doctors so I accepted it I'm not going to get the surgery moved on and then paid all my fees and I was like let me call in and get my prescription so I can just get some nice fancy glasses since I can't get the surgery again dealing with their phone system it's a horrible phone system and then you sit on hold forever , I asked for my prescription to be emailed I was told it's going to cost me $40 unbelievable! I am very disappointed in this facility I will not recommend anybody to go there I will suggest that they go out of town somewhere else it's a shame because I really liked the facility I felt comfortable with the staff just a couple things I was upset with as I'm in the customer service business also and that would be the phones, plus why charge somebody for a prescription when I'm a client or I did the eye exam and my insurance company paid for that plus I had to come out of pocket unbelievable?!
