BUT, their gimmick "11%" rebate is a total JOKE! They suck you in thinking you'll be saving money. But, I spent nearly $1,000 here on three visits and never got a nickel back! They give you a form on your way out of the store, asking you to fill it out, document your purchases, answer a bunch of questions, and mail it in (with your own stamp) to see if you "qualify" for the 11% rebate on any of your purchases. If you do, they'll supposedly send you a check two months later! Filling out the form and putting all the info together is WORSE than filing your taxes with the IRS! Seriously, Menard's 11% discount program is a total joke, possibly bordering on fraud. Bottom line -- if you don't fill out their forms correctly, you end up spending MORE on merchandise that you can get at other stores, or on Amazon, with instant discounts. Just give me even 5% at checkout and I'd be happier than getting NOTHING trying to fill out all their stupid forms, mailing them in and waiting forever to hopefully get some money back. With Home Depot, Walmart and Lowe's nearby, who all offer instant markdowns and savings, plus many online options, there is no need to waste your time or money at Menard's. They'll never see another penny from me again!

Effectively, making the DoorDash person deliver the manure in his tiny car. As verified by the delivery person, door dash didn't receive the 40 bucks to deliver the manure. Therefore, Lowes got 40 dollars for doing nothing! One thing is for sure; my mother will never have anything delivered from Lowes again. Since she felt guilty, she felt I had to pay the delivery driver 10 bucks in tips. My advice, never ever use Lowe's delivery service.

I can say they were hit hard on several levels during COVID. I wouldn't judge any store by their reviews during COVID. But I have rarely had problems with finding someone who won't drop everything to give me a hand. There are a couple employees who might be a little less than cordial on occasion, but they always do their job and I leave with what I need or an idea where to find it if they don't. I've always been able to find someone who would be willing to help me brainstorm on odd project. Cheyenne Lowes is always my go to if I'm going to a big box home improvement store.

They did however after using 1x I noticed the temperature gauge didn't work. I called and the store mgr. said he would order one. After a week I didn't hear anything so I called and the mgr. said he wasn't sure when the new gauge would arrive. Really??? I said that since the grill was less than 30 days old he needed to either replace the gauge or come pick up the grill and I will go somewhere else. He found a gauge in the store however expected me to come pick it up and replace and return the old one. That's awesome service. I said no of course and they replaced it. About 3 weeks later I needed a new lawn mower. I gave Ace another chance because I wanted a Toro. I used 3x and it's leaking oil. Once again, the NOT HELPFUL manager said I would have to take it some where because they weren't licensed to work on Toros (EVEN THOUGH THEY SELL THEM) Now I have to take time out of my day to take this mower to somewhere that can fix it. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy anything from ACE. Not the helpful hardware man.

Me: What about the other one? REGISTER HELP: Um, no. Looks like we don't have that one either. We haven't had that in the store for a while (as she looks at her monitor). Me: Are there any stores in the region that have one or the other? REGISTER HELP: (Scanning the monitor)....Yep. Looks like our Scottsbluff, Nebraska store has one. And there's one in Brighton, Colorado and Sterling, Colorado. They have four of them. Me: Can you have one sent from another store? REGISTER HELP: No (shaking her head). But you can go to Scottsbluff and get one. Me: No. That would be a 200 mile roundtrip-drive. Can I buy the floor model? REGISTER HELP: (Shaking her head no.) No. (No explanation given.) I've been to and utilized more than a dozen Fastenal's in three different states. This one by far was the least helpful. Employees weren't wearing company shirts. Employee thought it was pertinent to resume himself instead of explaining why he didn't want my money nor ordering was worth his time. I and a peer went in wearing our work uniform. From that, one could assume that if we received helpful service, we continue using this Fastenal for our work needs. Guess not. We ended up getting our part ordered from a different fastener store, who were wearing appropriate company shirts and were not concerned with how small the part was, and were very polite. Lesson learned for us: Many other Fastenal's are great...just not this one.
