No call, no show. I wasted 6 hours sitting around watching the "estimated arrival time" get further and further away. I even waited an hour after the 5-hour window, still no call and no show. To make matters worse, they have absolutely no way of contacting a human. Their "chatbot" provided no help at all, and there was no option to talk with a real person. A request for repair service was made through American home shield a month ago. A repairman came to the house and assessed my refrigerator. He stated that I needed a part because the freezer and refrigerator was not cooling properly . The part was ordered, and he attempted to fix the refrigerator. I waited until it was up to the correct temp before placing my food back into the refrigerator. A few days later my refrigerator had stopped freezing and cooling again. A repairman was sent out again. He said it needed another part and the part was ordered. Another repairman came out and said that another part was needed also. The part was ordered, mind you my refrigerator isn't working at all, anyway another repairman came out this past Friday and I was told it was fixed. I put my food back in my fridge, and just 4 days later it is not freezing, or cooling properly. I had to throw away a lot of food that had defrosted. I called American home shield to schedule an appointment and a work order was sent to Sears. After placing several calls I eventually talked to someone from Sears. I was told that the work order was closed, and I needed to contact American home shield. I explained that I already had. To make a long story short I am still waiting to get put back on the schedule. The technician, looked like a college kid that just rolled out of bed , sloppy and very unprofessional, showed up with a screw driver and iphone to fix my washer! He did not know what to do, so he googled the problem, and said it needed a new timer and i would have to order it costing $99.68. I paid the service call $139.64 in good faith and ordered the part! It was not the timer! So now i am out $ 239.32 and washer not fixed! Sears Customer service is terrible, would Not refund my money!! Called a real repairman that fixed it with a new water sensor valve. I will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau for fraudulent business practices!!! read more

First, the service times are a inconvenience. 8-5 is not working but the tech worked it out for me. The job needed a second tech because I had to assist with the installation, clean up after the tech . Swipe the smudges from my microwave. Pick up screws left on counter. I had my windows replaced several years ago by Sears. Lately I needed some repairs on the windows, one seems to be growing a mold looking substance in the "sealed" double pane and that section of the pane is turning cloudy on thre inside. When i called Sears i am told they no longer repair windows, they only replace them. Be aware of this when using Sears. Several years from now you may need a repair but cant get it. read more

the only reason sears is getting even a one star is for the first tech that came out on may 3. see the rest below. as of monday may 13 7:15 we have not heard from you tech that was to install the parts needed to repair our washer today may 13. the only technician that even called us was back on may 3 when he came out to see what the problem was with our washer. he then ordered the parts and another technician came out last friday to install but the parts did not arive until saturday. we have been trying to get a hold of your company but only get the automated service saying that our parts have not been shipped when they have and we have received them. even our home warranty company is not happy with your company. i have uploaded the pictures showing that the parts are hear and when our appointment was scheduled for our laundry is pilling up and our washer needs to get fixed asap!!!! again we were schedule for today may 17 and no one showed up....now our warranty company has to reschedule for our repair on monday may 20. the technician finaly showed up around 5:30 and she had an attitude on her that she did not want to take care of the repair and tried to push it off on the first tech that was out here on the 3rd. then she tells us that the control panel was on back order and did not know when it would be here. we asked her about the next step and she said it was between us and ahs not her and ahs. she made us feel like idiots. we don't know what the parts look like, we are not technicians. we also know that works. we will never do business with sears again. again we were on the schedule again today thursday, may 23 and no one called us to see if the control panel had come in. if you look at our service report you would see only shipment. this is getting old. my husband needs clean cloths for work since he works with the public as a customer service repetitive, plus our towels, sheets and other items are piling up. A part had to be ordered and was told he would be back Friday. The part came and didn't hear anything, Called and after being transferred several times and placed on hold for 15 minutes was told it would be Tuesday and would receive an email shortly that never came. On Tuesday received a robocall telling me a technician would come today. At 3 that afternoon I received another recording saying the technician was on the way. At 4 he came and took about a hour to fix the refrigerator. The two times he came was about a total of one and a half hours and the part was a little less than 60 dollars and I was charged 508. dollars which is hiway robbery.He was nice but never will I call Sears repair again! Zero stars for repair. It took two months for technicians and parts to get the refrigerator to cool and freeze (as of today). We will never purchase another Sears product. The Sears master protection plan is a joke and a racket. Do Not Expect a good experience with the repair team nor the protection plan customer service. If you plan to cancel your protection agreement do NOT expect a prorated rebate if they have made any repairs prior. Those are deducted from the plan. Maybe this is a thing but in all of our years of using Sears for Kenmore repairs , we have never had such a frustrating experience. read more

Told her the the drum is bad .Then he told my wife that no parts are available and the the charge would be around $100.00 This was an expensive Maytag washer. Don't fall for the Sears home warranty. When you call them to sign up they tell you that you can cancel when you've paid the amount in dues relative to your claim - but then the paper contract arrives (after the claim no less) and it says you can't cancel for a year or you get outrageous fees. After five visits the repairman finally got my TV repaired. All he had to do was order two parts, they came to my house, then I was informed that my repairman visit had been rescheduled because the parts had not arrived...WHAT????...he told me they would have the routing numbers and would know when they arrived, this is a case of the left hand not having a clue what the right brain was doing. He eventually showed up and did fix the TV, for my aggravation I will not purchase from Sears or recommend their products to any of my friends. The repairman diagnosed the problem with my washer (after I waited a week for him to come to my home) and said he would order the parts and have them sent to me. I was told to call for another service call when I got the parts -I did. This time I waited 1 1/2 weeks for the appointment and on the last day, I was told computer problems would not let the serviceman come to my home. I rescheduled and waited 10 more days for the serviceman to come and do the repair (that took 15 minutes). I was told (on all 3 calls that I could expect the serviceman between 8:00 and 12 noon. The first call, the man showed up at 4:50 after 4 delays (sent thru my computer). No one came to the 2nd call (computer problem (likely not true). The last call was scheduled to be between 8:00 and 12 noon - at 11:00 I called and was told that the repairman would be at my home at 3:00 - 4:30. I told them that this was unacceptable and I was tired of being "put off" and I wanted service now !! The serviceman called at 11:45 and said he could come at 12:30, so I said ok. He did come, as promised and in 15 minutes did the repair. It is stupid to promise a repair for 8:00 to 12 noon and then reschedule it over and over. I will not renew my service plan (when it expires), but instead sign a new one with a local company. It appears that that Sears does not care about their customers (no compensation was offered to me for a 4 week wait to do a 15 minute job). I will not recommend Sears service or products to ANY ONE - EVER. read more
