Before the install date, he requested multiple advance payments: Sept. 24: Paid $560 down payment. Sept. 28: Paid $800 extra for a larger 2.5-ton A/C unit. Oct. 2: Paid $1,200 after he promised to drop off the equipment at my garage that day. He never dropped off any equipment. On the scheduled install day (Oct. 5) and the days following, he failed to show up, repeatedly offering personal excuses via text. On Oct. 7, after he failed to arrive yet again, I canceled the project and demanded my money back. Out $2,560 with zero work done and zero equipment delivered, he refused to refund me.
