One important thing to note is the way Katrin always considers the health of your hair before using any products. if you have any specifications (such as asking for ammonia free toner), she is always able to find the best fit for you and make your experience stress-free. What I appreciate the most about Katrin is her kindness and perseverance despite any unforeseen issues that come up. Recently, I unknowingly asked her to add a money piece to my Balayage. I was not too comfortable with the end result (it looked great in general, but a bit too bold for my liking). Katrin did whatever it took to help me fix it until it was perfect, saying that all she cares about is my comfort level. She was able to restore my bangs and make me feel flawless in no time, as if nothing ever happened. If you don't like something you initially asked for, let her know. She truly cares about the customer's happiness. If she feels that something won't work for you, she will advise you accordingly as well. Katrin is an absolute gem of a person! I started going to her during the pandemic and have never trusted anyone more with my hair! I have always been a timid going to hair salons as my hair used to be fine and thin and workers at the salons would always comment on it. Katrin on the other hand was so kind and welcoming and made me feel confident! Not only that but she helped me make my hair thicker and healthier over time! I am never coming back to see Katrin, and you shouldn't either. Here's why. I purchased her Groupon a few weeks ago to get a blowout. My hair is medium length and a bit wavy, but when I got there, Katrin told me I would have to pay $10 extra because of the thickness of my hair. She said it was in the fine print, which it was, but I still think she should've been more upfront that she would be adding charges. But that's not even why I hated the experience. 1) SHE SPENT THE ENTIRE TIME INSULTING MY HAIR. I paid a lot of money for my highlights and she legitimately asked me several times, "Did you want your hair to look like that?" Uh, yes, actually, thanks for asking 10 times. She then went on to tell me that my hairdresser had done an unfinished job on my hair, that the color wasn't right, and that it looked too chemically treated. I came for a quick blow out, not a bashing session. My hair dresser is 100 times more successful than you anyway. 2) MY HAIR WAS WET AFTER THE BLOW DRY. Um, is this your first time blowdrying hair? Once I left the salon I felt the scalp of my hair and it was literally WET. I should've known since she had such a weird technique. She started using the brush and curling over my hair before even drying the roots. Seriously, there are way better places to go. Please save yourself the time and extra money. You'll get half the price and double the quality at a salon school. read more

This post has been a long time coming. I got a Groupon a month or so ago for a wash and blow dry. For the record I am very picky about how my hair comes out.. I have long thick hair that every time I've ever gotten it done I have to come home to fix it.. So sad seeing how expensive it usually is. For the Groupon users, yes there IS fine print for long hair.. Who doesn't charge extra for that extra time? When I came to see Katrin I had very low expectations. I am so sorry because she had these tricks up her sleeve (I don't know what one of the previous commenters was talking about, yes the technique is different but it works for me because I actually loved the outcome). She worked at DryBar so she has their blower which I think makes a huge difference. My hair looked beautiful for days (yes...days) and I got tons of compliments. I just went back to her yesterday and it wasn't a fluke - still perfect! I told her it was my birthday so she took extra time and care to make sure my hair looked amazing. What I want everyone to take away from this is: DON'T hesitate coming here for a beautiful blow out. I will be going back for color services so I'll update my review then.
