Not sure what the bad reviews are about. It's a buffet. The price is not bad at all. It's a steal for lunch weekdays at 15 pm and the most expensive is 25 bucks. They had a decent amount of seafood. The fried chicken wings, fried shrimp, steamed fish, fries, and dessert were good. the ribs, string beans, lo mein, teriyaki were okay too. They had quite a lot of sushi but they werent very good. I had a lot of food and it was well worth the money. It's easy to get your moneys worth. Don't expect amazing food as it's not very fresh but it's not bad.

Well it's not what it was back in the day an even the music catered to the staff not the customer. There is very little food choice and even the fruits don't look so tasteful. This place need some menu update an the place also need better lighting an painting of the place. It must be under new management because the food are tasteless. They even have a sign saying an waste food will be charge by the pound but how the he'll am I force to eat tasteless food when my eye an belly will not acomidate these items. As stated you pay for what you get but I want a refund in this case. I will turn Chinese by the time I leave this place because I don't understand the music the whole time sitting down an even the carpet looks like it's been here for over ten years plus. Event after I pay the bill of what i try to eat they still asking for a tip, well let me give you a tip. We need better service an food choice.

If you love seafood, this is the place! Shellfish galore. They have big clams, small clams, black mussels, green lipped mussels, crawfish, crab, shrimp, etc. Good food, I would go back!

Okay so...this is a four-star review simply because it's a Chinese buffet...so standards have to be lowered given that when you go here you KNOW what you're getting yourself into. Do not come expecting some gourmet experience. If you want to get a Chinese food fix, binge style, and also nosh on some other non-Chinese goodies, this is your spot. It's packed. I came on a Sunday night and there were barely any free tables. It cost me $50 for two people, including a beverage. Come. Eat your heart out. And get your dollar's worth of face stuffage. Like any buffet, there are some dishes better than others. My favorites were the ribs. I order them from my go-to takeout spot and these were way better. I also really liked the pork dumplings. Shout out to having chicken nuggets and fried plantains. They also have the usuals: chicken and broccoli, lo mein, walnut shrimp, general tso's, fried rice, etc. The buffet is complete with soups, sushi, a salad bar, desserts, and soft serve ice cream. Again, keep in mind this review is basing this on being a Chinese buffet...not a regular restaurant, not a takeout joint...it's a BUFFET. In the real, non-buffet world, no, this isn't four-star food, but within the context of what it is, it's pretty solid.

Do not I warn you DO NOT consume this. I suspect this caused my food poisoning

Do not come here. Limited food and most disturbingly, I got food poisoning. I am sick till today I ate here yesterday lunch. Thre up at 8 pm. Stomach pains. I am a clean eater and dont ever eat outside food for 6 months now. Service was ok. Good to knkw they are aware but i feel uncomforably watched as i ate. Will not be coming here again and if you chose to be careful with their seafood and chicken.

First time dining since the pandemic. The food is good here, lots of options and replaced regularly. Covid wise it's pathetic Maskless patrons at the buffet is not just unsanitary it's downright dangerous. At least ask patrons to wear masks at the buffets. Will not return anytime soon. Don't know how the citywide mandate will work here.

Staff are super rude and not responsive. Foods are lukewarm, to make it worse, they are also greasy, bland and unfresh. Not recommend.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

We were skeptical about this restaurant but it exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return! We came on a weekend for dinner so it was busy! We were able to snag a table and seeing how busy this place was, we knew it was going to be good! We had the pork XLB, chicken feet, pork & vegetable wontons with spicy peanut sauce, noodles with scallion and peanut butter sauce, beef lo mein and the beef ribs. Everything was delicious! The highlights of our meal were the pork XLB and the beef ribs. The pork XLB were made fresh to order and they were flavorful and juicy! Definitely on my list of best XLB I have ever had. The beef ribs were also delicious! They torched it table side which definitely added a nice touch! Considering how busy they were, the service was immaculate. They were also very attentive to details since we had a kid with allergies. We will definitely be coming back soon.
