They worked efficiently and finished the job earlier than expected. When I went in to inspect the demolition, I was pleased to see how neatly they did the job. They were careful not to damage the abutting walls and cleanly disconnected the plumbing. This will make it easier when the remodeling takes place. Overall, for the amount of work they did, manpower used and time it took, the price was right. Leo also gave me some suggestions on repairs around the house that were very helpful.

If you have a drawing, have them sign off on the drawing that they would do exactly what the drawing says. Confirm what type of Rock you will be getting. and demand it when it arrives on site. Do not let them use blue rock with the promise to stain it. Make sure all the rocks are cleaned prior to installation. Mine had mud and a lot of the rocks fell off because of that. Make sure you call for at least 6 inches of compacted gravel below grade level. Do not let them talk you out of that Get in writing how thick your wall will be. Every single dimension needs to be verified. Confirm pressure washing is with a pressure washer and not just a hose. You'll have to oversee everything to ensure you get good quality. I had to bring out my own levels because things were not level. I suggest using brown stain instead of the black stain that they recommended. Unless you want black grout. ensure they're using the correct mix of sand and concrete. A lot of mine was way too much sand and was very weak. make sure all underground utilities are marked prior to them arriving. And watch to make sure they do not dig into them. The biggest problem on my job was there was no good supervision on site. Oh, and make sure that cleaning up every day is in the contract so there's no tracks in the sidewalk and street. Good luck.

The area next to the steps and along the front of the house needed a retaining wall to hold the soil and clean up the slope. Their crew came out, walked the space with me, and explained how they would build the wall and shape the curve so it would look natural with the yard and the house. They also talked about the base and drainage so it would hold up long-term. The work itself was done efficiently and the crew was easy to work with. They prepped the base, set the blocks carefully, and made sure the curve of the wall flowed nicely along the front of the yard instead of just building a straight line. They kept the job site pretty clean and checked in along the way to make sure everything looked right. The finished wall looks great and really improves the front of the house. It's solid, level, and the curve gives the landscaping a much cleaner look than what was there before. Overall, a very positive experience. If you need retaining wall or landscaping work done, Blessed Construction LLC is definitely worth considering.

Needless to say, his plan was pretty epic & I can't be happier!! He kept me updated every step of the way. ABSOLUTE WORST- DO NOT HIRE !! Do not believe the 5 star ratings- read the 1 stars & they all say…read morethe same truth. Elite Masons completely botched our huge driveway replacement & retaining wall. Unprofessional in every way: did not do code requirements for our driveway-no base rock, no rebar, no wire mesh was used for very large sloping driveway (started failing 1 month after it was laid), used untrained workers & no mason. They completely ruined the retaining wall using left over giant chunks from the previous driveway "so they could save themselves on cement costs- as Sione put it"- barley slapped on cement over the big chunks, didn't even smooth it out, and left it rough & incomplete. They improperly poured the whole huge driveway in less than an hour,which is crazy, and Sione used it as a "teaching excercise". Then they used many different kinds/batches of cement mixed in buckets to fix all the swooping, wavy, & uneven problems-making it look like horrible patchwork all over, and they splattered cement all over the house walls & on our brand new front windows (didnt even clean up) that I am still trying to remove. Unsupervised workers were just dropped off each day with no idea what to do that day and they literally broke or wrecked something every single day (we documented it). Within 2 weeks there were small cracks all over, in less than a month giant full length fissure cracks appeared throughout the driveway, it is breaking into pieces, and caving in some areas. Also workers were left late each night at our house & Sione would guilt us and request us to make cash payments directly to his workers left there. Towards the end we had no money left to withhold to get them to come back to make the repairs, and they left cement, cement chunks, cigarette butts, bottles and cans all over our entire front lawn. Sione & Elite Masons have not responded to messages or calls requesting to fix the problems. So we have been left out of money and with a huge failing driveway. These are just a few of the problems- there were so many many more! Do not hire- you will regret it.

We came back to our yard smelling like we were covering up a bloody massacre. The smell of bleach was everywhere. It wasn't the fact that bleach was used on the roof that bothered me but the concentration. I use 10% bleach everyday at work so I know what it smells like. This smelled like at least 30%. It was so strong it left bleach marks on the concrete. In fact my mom put a wet towel on one of our walls and it ended up with bleach stains. The workers didn't cover anything so my dad's t-shirt that was in a bucket in the sink outside was ruined as was my mom's washing machine cover. I shutter to think how the runoff that went into the storm drain will affect the bay. Envirowash sounds like an environmentally friendly company but I wonder if it is as the smell of bleach is sickening. Will never use them again!
