It is sit yourself, was very clean, and the waitress are very nice and attentive. I ordered the 10pc bone in lunch special, it came with 10 wings and fries for $10. The wing flavors were amazing, but the consistency in how my wings were prepared or how long ago they were prepared was not. Some of my wings were hot and juicy and some of them were dry and hard to the point that they were not enjoyable. Could not describe cheeseburger bowl, which is just a bunless burger, told us we could get fried green beans in place of fries with poboy for a small up charge, had to ask for ranch dressing for salad, green beans, and southwest eggrolls. This is a interesting bar and grill establishment where you seat yourself and the waitress will come to you. Open during COVID-19 they will provide you with drinks in to go cups, condiments in small containers or pouches, and a packet of disposable silverware as well as extra napkins. My son and I had the chicken sandwich. I had just the normal fried sandwich on a jalapeño roll. He had the same but with buffalo sauce. We also tried the onion rings, fries, and sweet potato waffle fries. First let me tell you that the two sandwiches were amazing. They were larger than a child-fil-a sandwich. You can barely fit it in your mouth. The jalapeño roll had a hint of spice and it was a little sweet but no flavor was too overpowering. This sandwich was not too salty and they loaded it up with tomato and lettuce which was unique for me. Better than fast food and worth the premium price of a little over $9. The sandwich is epic and you don't really need a side dish with it. The side dishes/ appetizers were less amazing. The worst was the French fries. They tasted like they had been dredged in flour. They were cooked to death. I was so happy that I asked for more water because I needed it to wash down the dry fries. These were the worst bar fries I have ever had. The second worst was the onion rings. Also cooked to death they were so crispy they shattered in your mouth. It was nice they used real onions but something about them just seemed off. The best of the side dishes was the sweet potato waffle fries. They were still cooked within a inch of their life but they actually tasted great. So if you want some fries I would go with this option. Stay away from the French fries. You have been warned. Also be aware that the sandwich is pretty large. No side dish is really needed. All in all this is a pretty great dive bar/ hole in the wall. If we ever come back I would like to try their burgers with the sweet potato fries. read more

A very unpleasant eating experience. The young lady who served us did the best she could to serve us given her situation. The problem was with the food. The burger patty over cooked and too tough. The fries, although not burnt, had a burnt taste to them. Most likely from burnt grease. The wings were cooked very nicely but we're supposed to have a buffalo ranch sauce. The sauce turned out to be a dry rub that tasted more like cool ranch Doritos than anything else. The roast beef po'boy is wonderful, although I do recommend you substitute the horseradish mayo for the regular mayo. I'm not sure what they put into the gravy, but if it wouldn't be frowned upon, I'd be tempted to drink it. It absolutely makes the sandwich. Most of the time I've been satisfied here, but I must caution my fellow Yelpers. I ordered a Tom Collins with well gin, and when the check came it had been rung up as a Bombay Sapphire cocktail ($8). I brought it to our server's attention, and she reported that she was unable to get the bill corrected because she can't "discount" alcohol, and that they don't have any well gin, so they had to make it with Bombay Sapphire. How messed up is that? Let me count the ways. 1. Correcting an inaccurate bill isn't a discount. 2. Any halfway decent bar should have a well brand of gin in stock. 3. If they can't fill my order (a well cocktail), they should tell me, rather than bringing me something I didn't order and then charging me extra for their mistake. However, the adult grilled cheese with gouda, havarti, and jalapeño jack is fantastic, and I rarely have had any problems here. Just be careful you don't get ripped off. read more

From salads to poboy still their famous wings, it's really good food! They're also one of the only places that will still serve you bottled beers like Redd's in a glass. While the food is good I just experienced the worst customer service from the Manager. I ordered meals for my entire family and an item was left off of both dinners which is the main staple of the dinner. I called to get credit for the meal as the meal was not complete without the side and was told that he did not care if my meal was not complete and he would only give me credit for the side dish. What am I going to do with a side dish? So I asked him if he rather lose a customer with his bad attitude and he just refused to make me complete. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I know the food is good but what is good food with a bad customer service manager. I'm honestly surprised no one that has actually written about this dive bar! Yeah its a dive but l love them. Plus they have really good food! Sports bar themed on the inside but at the same time these are my hole in the wall type of places I love. With wings being in their restaurant name you would think it would be serving killer but their hot which is the hottest they offer is really an euthisiasts mild. Good flavor but no heat. The burger which I really enjoyed is really where this 4 star ranking is at. It comes on an optional jalepeno bun which was phenominal. You can taste the freshness w/ hopes it comes from a local bakery or homemade...Like I said hope but I didnt have the nerve to ask to be let down. lol Burger has great taste and honestly no need to order fries w/ this burger its large enough. Found this place by accident, when I was exploring Monroe. We are complete suckers for the little joint with the packed parking lot. The shrimp po-boy was very good as was the grilled chicken sandwich. The basket of fried shrimp was hot and tasty, and made me a officially a big fan of their tangy daq sauce. Only disappointment was the basket of boneless wings, they were a bit on the greasy side. Though overhearing a conversation with the manager and another patron is sounded like they had a new cook in the kitchen, as they food came out a little slow. The burger's looked fantastic and many of the female lunch crowd were ordering the salads topped with shrimp or chicken depending on their preference. We ate outside as the inside was completely packed. The service was excellent even though the food was a hair slower than I think was the usual. Definitely a great lunch spot in Monroe! read more
