I waited a week like they told me to for someone from delivery to contact me. Nothing. I called and left messages. No response. I finally called the sales team and they reached out to delivery. They left early on Friday and nobody was there. Called back on Monday, and I was not scheduled. I was told. I was told my delivery date would be on a certain date/time. That's not scheduling. I had no say in the delivery. I made arrangements. The week before someone finally contacted me from delivery to ask me questions, then quickly tried to get off the phone, like I didn't have questions of my own. I was given no delivery window. Just told I was "penciled in" for that day and time. So you're now expected to waste an entire day sitting around waiting for people to hopefully show up. Nobody returns emails, answers the phone, returns messages, or even answers their direct phone lines. The only people you will reach is sales. And the most frustrating part, the sales team can communicate with them freely. Just not customers. Not the service I was looking for when you spend $11k on something. It's not even here yet and I already have buyers remorse. We were looking to purchase a sauna for a different place, but we will be going somewhere else to do that.

    Update: Business owners contacted us, apologized and mailed us a check for our full refund…read more(received). They also provided us with a $100 gift card to compensate for our experience. We are supporters of local businesses. Our experience with Bemisters, however, has been among the worst experiences we have ever had with a business. We ordered adirondack chairs earlier in the year. Because of the color we wanted they were special ordered for which we would have to pay shipping. We agreed. Roughly 2 months after we ordered them they were delivered... to the store (not our home as we'd been told). We went to pick them up and discovered they were not the color we ordered. Store employee confirmed they were the wrong color - manufacturer error. They suggested we take these while they processed a replacement order. We did. Over the next 2+ months we followed up with Bemisters several times on the replacements. No one could give us status on the replacements. When follow up calls to us were promised they were never received. We finally got tired of waiting for the replacements, we called and said they should cancel the replacement order and we were returning the incorrectly colored ones for a refund. Store employee agreed. At first they said they would pick up the chairs at our home. They never did. We ultimately dropped the chairs off at the store (pictures attached). Store employee acknowledged the condition of the chairs (like new). We were told because of the time that had passed since the original order they would have to issue a refund by check (instead of back to our credit card). After two weeks without receiving a check we followed up by phone with the store. Now we were being told that the chairs needed to be shipped to their other store to determine their condition and decide whether a refund would be issued. Absolute nonsense. When we commented on the horrible customer service we were receiving, we received a sarcastic "that's what we strive for" from the store employee. One way or another, we will get our refund. And we will never do business with this business again.

He had already gone to Ace hardware where although they were extremely nice, they unfortunately don't take away your old grill (buzz kill). He had been to Lowe's and Home Depot and the experience was pleasant but again they couldn't accommodate the delivery set up and removal of the old grill. I suggested we search in the Rye and Hampton area for another place that carries Weber grills, and he was not too keen on it saying we will not find one we will just have to order it at Home Depot and figure out how to magically make the other one go away! For the heck of it I called the pool and barbecue grill store in Hampton called Bemister's. The gentleman that answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and said not only did they have the best prices on Weber grills but that the quality was different than the ones that they sell in the box stores which really surprised us. He went on to say that they have their own service that drops them off and sets them up but also will take away our old grill at a very reasonable price. We went down there to find an extremely gracious and knowledgeable salesperson who happens to be fourth generation in the company. By the time we left, not only were we thrilled that we made that call, but we are getting it delivered tomorrow which is a Sunday!!! I guess that's what the old fashion "mom-and-pop" businesses do! What a change in experiences from other places and refreshing to see the classic old fashion "we care about the client" attitude still exists. They are very dog friendly, hands-on, and accommodating. 6 stars!

Example each year we have then open the pool. Each time they do we find a new leak not due to old equipment just lack of attention. This time we had then install a new filter and of course I walk into the pool shed to find a large puddle of water. Clearly they installed it but never checked to see if it was running properly. This is the typical type of service they give and to boot they are arrogant. Customers service is. It their strength. On top of that their prices are extremely high. One would expect better service for such high prices. The last straw was when they charged by credit card without my authorization. Apparently they kept an old copy of my number and pin and use that charge my account and explain to them that this was illegal and fraudulent and ended my service with him. Beware and I long-term partner in your pool service..
