Texts came in despite choosing email as the preferred contact method and even earned a call from their sales team for some god-knows-what reason. Dropped my KIA SUV for some recalls and a faulty module. After waiting for 2 hours, the power went out, and this is good news. After another hour of (me) waiting and (they) scrambling, they finally gave me a loaner car. It's been 3 biz days, and I'm yet to receive any updates. Had to call twice to get the service writer to talk to me since apparently no one else can see the repair status,s as it's a deep government secret. /roll eyes. So the car is yet to be ready, but in meanwhile I was told that my car needs a new cabin air filter and it cost $118. While on the phone, I checked Amazon product results for these "magical" and "complex" to install products. While finding a YT video on how to actually perform the "Mission Impossible" task of actually replacing one. I won't keep you in suspense any longer. These filters go from $7 to $20 depending on the brand, and the replacement procedure is so simple that my toddler kiddo could do it with minimal guidance.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!…read more I recently purchased a car from this dealership and was excited at first but that changed quickly. Not long after the purchase, I noticed that the interior lights weren't working, which is completely unacceptable in a brand-new vehicle. I reached out to the salesperson (Audra) who sold me the car, and she never responded. I had to contact the service department myself and bring the car in. Unfortunately, my experience with the service team was just as frustrating. I was given the runaround about whether the issue could be fixed, and whether I should be put into a rental. When I was finally offered one, the rental car had cobwebs in it, not exactly what you'd expect from a dealership. Then, I was told my car was fixed and didn't need the rental after all--after I had already filled out all the paperwork. Just as I was about to leave, I realized the issue hadn't been fixed. I was then told I did need the rental again, so I signed the contract again, only to be chased down and told that my car actually was fixed this time. The amount of back-and-forth was exhausting and unprofessional. To try and resolve things, I called the dealership asking if they'd make this right, and was told the General Manager would contact me. I still haven't heard back. I was seriously considering having my mother buy her next car here, but after this experience, I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

I called and asked for the Sales Manager, Kevin. I was told he was off that day, so I ended up sending him an email. I didn't expect to hear anything that day, but later that evening I received a phone call from Chris Mills. He told me Kevin had received my email and asked him to give me a call. We had a great conversation and that was just the start of my Sea View experience. The car was so new to their lot they only had one stock photo of the vehicle. Chris sent me a whole photo shoot of the car, better than any website I have ever seen. His communication was phenomenal and his patience was endless. Chris answered every question I asked... even the ones I knew were stupid... he never made me feel that way. He treated me like I was buying a Rolls Royce even though I was buying a pre-owned car that was already well below asking price. Every call, every email, every text was answered. Chris walked me through the entire process remotely. He worked with my insurance agent, NYS DMV, and every single thing was in place when I was finally able to make it down to the dealership. The entire process was flawless and the easiest car buying experience I ever had. I had terrible experiences trying to purchase a car closer to home. One dealership never returned my call and another dealership lost the car I was hoping to purchase. I felt like I was begging dealers to sell me their vehicles. So I really didn't have a good feeling going into this sale at Sea View... but WOW was I impressed. This was honestly the best car buying experience I ever had. I cannot say enough about Kevin and Chris. I only wish their dealership was closer to me, but it won't stop me from buying another car from them. They will be the first dealer I call.

I got them down to a close to what I wanted OTD price, but two days later I had a question on the vehicle's capacity sticker. So, I went to the dealership and stood by the unit on the lot. I then called my salesperson (Travis) on my cellphone and asked my legitimate question about the cargo capacity sticker as it varies by vehicle and how they are equipped. I asked for a picture of it. Travis told me. "It's out on a test drive with another customer and if it doesn't sell, I'll get back to you." I was standing right next to it (while they claimed it was currently out on a test drive). I was ready to buy that day, but glad I didn't. And no, it hadn't just come back. I had been there for a couple of hours inspecting it before calling him. I got the deal I wanted elsewhere. I'm all for the nature of the business and the fact that they need to max profit and the customer max savings. But when there is bold-faced lying, that's when I walk. If you want a deal, do not go into this or any dealership at all. Do it all in writing and force them to give you the best OTD price in writing (itemized). All of the "Can I get you coffee?" while they disappear for 20 minutes at a time, is old-fashioned and stupid. There are now even AI agents that will negotiate for you under a bogus e-mail address, to start the process. Don't fall for the "schedule an appointment" nonsense. It's all a stupid tactic. In writing, get the OTD price, take it with you, then do the test drive, and finalize.

Disappointing experience - problems started 28 days after purchase…read more Review: Unfortunately, my experience with this company was very disappointing. I purchased my vehicle approximately four months ago, and I strongly suggest that anyone searching for a car also consider dealerships with a better consumer history. Only 28 days after the purchase, I began experiencing mechanical issues that could affect the engine. Although the company performed repairs, the same problems continued to return repeatedly within less than three months. In addition, I do not believe the vehicle was properly inspected before delivery. The car was handed over with the oil close to its limit and with very low fluid levels in several systems that should have been properly filled. The tires were also already very worn and had to be replaced within just four months. I have driven less than 2,000 miles, yet the vehicle has already presented multiple serious problems. Even when the 3-month warranty is activated, customers are still required to pay part of the repair costs, in addition to transportation expenses and time away from work. I paid about $6,000 as a down payment, and so far I have spent approximately $8,000 total, including installments and repair-related costs. When I tried to exchange the vehicle, I was told there were over 200 cars available, but I would still have to pay additional money to make the exchange. After all the loss and frustration, I was expected to pay even more just to get rid of a defective car. Another very important detail is that for vehicles with more than 60,000 miles, customers may be asked to sign documents waiving the 3-month consumer protection, which makes it extremely difficult to resolve serious defects later. My advice, especially to non-English speakers: * Never sign anything under pressure. * Take all documents home and translate every page before signing. * If any problem starts, communicate only by email to keep proper records. This experience caused me to completely lose trust in this business. No one spends this much money to end up with a car that brings stress instead of safety and peace. Please think very carefully before purchasing from this company.

I want to leave this review as a warning to anyone thinking about buying a car from this company…read more If you are planning to buy a car for more than $20,000 like I did, please consider looking at Facebook Marketplace first. You will probably find similar cars for half the price and the quality might honestly be the same. The difference is that when you buy from this company, you pay a lot more and still risk getting a broken car. In my experience, this company sells defective vehicles. The problem with my car started only 22 days after I bought it. Since then, I have reported the exact same issue five times, and the car has already been repaired four times for the same problem. After six months, the issue still continues. What is even more concerning is that during the purchase process they make you sign paperwork that includes a paragraph where you waive certain rights. I strongly recommend that anyone buying from them take the contract home and read every single line carefully before signing anything. I feel extremely disappointed and unsafe driving this car. No one should spend more than $20,000 on a vehicle and then have to deal with the same mechanical issue over and over again. If you have also had problems with this company, please share your experience in the comments. It would help other people understand how common these situations may be and help future buyers make a more informed decision. I truly hope this review helps someone avoid the same mistake I made. Having gone to dealers in the past, I was dreading having to deal with pushy sales folks who turned me off from the experience, but the pre-owned truck Sansone Nissan had for sale was enticing enough to make me visit on Saturday. I took my parents and dog along with it being my first time considering making such a large investment in a vehicle. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dan McGeveran. From Dan's initial "hello", I knew this could be the day. Unlike folks I had dealt with in the past, Dan came off more as a friend and a voice of reason. He sat down, listened my concerns, answered my questions, and had us test driving in no time. Dan was happy to show me all the different options available and his thoughtfulness and kindness throughout the whole process was unparalleled. After we had agreed on terms and the paperwork process was beginning, Dan offered us coffee. My parents took him up on the offer but I declined, who drinks dealership coffee right?! Well next thing you know Dan's walking back into his office with Dunkin Donuts cups and frankly my jaw dropped. A small act, but Dan had already made his sale and this was not necessary. Just another example of his kindness, thoughtfulness, and him doing everything possible to make the experience from start to finish as enjoyable as possible for all of us. It's also worth mentioning that Dan stayed after closing while Ron finished up the paperwork to ensure I could leave with the vehicle that evening. Experience is very valuable, and Dan's 15 years working at Sansone Nissan shows. If you are in the market for a vehicle and have the same concerns I did, please do yourself a favor and reach out to Dan McGeveran. Also the wheels had been swapped and weren't even the factory recommended size for the car. We found that out after the fact. My car was a manufacturer buy back. Even so the offer was low seeing that it was a pristine, low mileage ATS premium. I figured you would be less since it was a trade but not that much less than we buy any car paying me cash.
