I purchased a used Mercedes Sprinter from Sea Breeze Ford for business/commercial use. At no point during the sale process was it clearly disclosed that the vehicle only came with ONE key/fob. I test drove the van, accidentally went home with the key in my pocket, then returned with it while completing the purchase paperwork -- and still nobody mentioned it was the only key. Because this is a work van used by both myself and my crew, a second key was extremely important. After the purchase, I contacted the dealership and was repeatedly told they were "working on getting the key," which led me to believe the issue was being handled. After waiting weeks with no resolution, I ultimately had to go directly through Mercedes myself. The final cost for the replacement key and programming ended up being approximately $850, plus several hours out of my workday. The dealership ultimately only offered $200 toward the expense despite the prior communications and the actual documented replacement cost. Very disappointing experience, especially because this could have easily been disclosed upfront before the sale was finalized read more

We agreed upon a number and then it was placed on a stop sale. All along the sales guy Kevin kept me in the loop saying they would honor what we agreed to once the stop sale was lifted. After almost a month of waiting he called me on a Thursday said come pick up the car Saturday. Called Friday at 7:00 pm and canceled saying the rebates changed hmmm that is funny it's the same month. Rebates don't change in the middle or end of the month but ok fine. Yes he was full of BS. I wait til Monday no call, so | call him. He said sorry no answer on the rebates from our Ford representative. Still | wait really wanting this truck at this point | decided it's last day of the month rebates are ending I need to look elsewhere well what do you know all the other dealerships took deposits on 2025 leftovers and sold their inventory just didn't let the customers take delivery. Funny because Seabreeze would not let me leave a deposit. Still I reach out today again to purchase for a trade in to be brought up it's the new "deal" being offered. Never was a trade into play but somehow now I need to trade my car for 500.00 they are willing to pay they are laughable.. well in order to get the deal we originally agreed to here is the new offer. Seabreeze DEALERSHIP SEEMS LIKE SCAMMERS. THEY WASTE PEOPLES TIME AND PROMISE NUMBERS THAT DO NOT EXIST. Abysmal Service & Warranty Discrimination - Avoid Sea Breeze Ford Service Department Overall Rating: 1/5 Stars (If I could give zero, I would) I recently attempted to use the Service Department at Sea Breeze Ford for a necessary part replacement under my extended warranty, and the experience was nothing short of an insulting waste of time. This dealership's service department has demonstrated a breathtaking level of unprofessionalism and a clear policy of discriminating against customers who rely on third-party extended protection. Specifically the service manager, Fred. After confirming the required part and placing the order, the service advisor abruptly canceled the order despite my request to not do so. The reason? Because the dealership "did not want to deal with the hassle" of processing the claim paperwork for a third-party extended warranty. Let me be clear: I am a paying Ford owner who invested in protection for my vehicle. The Sea Breeze Service Department is actively refusing to service my vehicle and refusing to order necessary parts because they do not wish to perform the basic administrative work required to honor the warranty I purchased. This is not a customer service policy; this is a policy of corporate laziness and short-sightedness. They are explicitly telling their customers that if your warranty isn't directly padding their bottom line (i.e., a Ford-branded plan), they will simply refuse your business, leaving you stranded and forcing you to find an independent mechanic willing to do their job. If your vehicle is protected by any warranty outside of Ford's in-house plans, do not waste your time here. You will be treated as an inconvenience, your time will be disrespected, and they will arbitrarily deny you service simply because they find the paperwork too complicated. Stay away from this dealership for service work! Brought my 2011 Mustang in for 100k service and to have the ac checked out as it wasn't working. Explained to the service writer that I just had an oil change and didn't need one and that I had replaced a part on the ac system while attempting to fix it myself. I told the service writer to let the mechanic know in case there was something wrong with the part or in case I messed something up. After having the car for 4 days I received a phone call saying the car was ready to pick up but the ac wasn't fixed. After arriving at the dealership I find out that A. They performed a $70 oil change that I had asked them not to (they did refund my money after I arrived home and realized it). B. The service writer never told the mechanic about my attempted repair or the part I replaced. C. They replaced several parts for the ac system at a cost of over $500 plus labor that fixed nothing. After talking to the mechanic and explaining what I had previously done he assured me that it couldn't possibly be causing any issues. I was told I needed to purchase a new ECM which I would have to buy after market as Ford no longer made the part. I bought the ECM online for $400. I brought that and the Mustang back the Sea Breeze. After installing the new ECM the ac still didn't work. At this point they decided to check out the part I installed and found out it was defective. Fortunately for me the ECM was returnable with a $150 restocking fee. Close to $600 in parts plus labor that wasn't needed because the service writer didn't feel like writing down what I told him on the service order. They did replace the defective part at no cost which at that point was the least they could do! read more

The worst service ever. Took my car to be serviced for a few days to fix the heat from going off and on, when I picked the car up I was told that the problem was fixed and it will never happen again. In less than 24 hours of having my car back I discovered the problem still existed. I returned back to Seabreeze Ford in Wall NJ and asked for a refund. There was disrespect prior to giving me back my money. Finally once the money was returned, months later, called to do an oil change, and was told they were no longer servicing me. All was well while in person at the dealership. Come to find out the vehicle had a leaking valve gasket...was fixed under a factory warranty but not a good start none the less. 2nd and to this day I've not received my plates or registration. I've called multiple times with either no call backs as I was promised or incorrect information given. The story is that they sold the vehicle to me and have not received the title from wherever they got the car. My temp tag expired April 18. At one week expired, they told me covid extensions would cover that. At 3 weeks expired and called I was told someone would get back to me and never did. At 5 weeks expired and after I confirmed myself with motor vehicles that there is no more extensions since February, I was told they still haven't received the title, and don't know how long it will take. Meanwhile I have a $40,000 car that I can't legally drive because it has expired temp tags and temp registration that I've made two payments on. They advised that another temp tag Cannot be issued. The dealership said they will pay any fines incurred for driving illegally. I asked for that in writing. My guess is I'll be calling back in a few more weeks when I don't hear from them. : update after listing this review on Facebook also, they called me and advised That because of my negative review, they will no longer assist me with any issues that may arise from driving with expired temp tags, and they will not longer mail me my plates as agreed upon. Best service experience I've ever had. I did not lease our Explorer through Sea Breeze but called to inquire about a service appt. Robert scheduled me within a few days, considering my car was smoking. They isolated the problem but needed to order a part. Was going to be without a car for three days. He managed to arrange for a loaner within a day and the car was ready when projected. All the service employees were extremely helpful and friendly, not to mention professional. A little piece of advice when dealing with service situations. The more patient and appreciative you are as a customer, the better service you will receive. True for everything in life. Sea Breeze Ford (SBF) is absolutely the worst dealer that I have ever encountered. Over the years I have bought or leased about 140 new cars and have sometimes encountered dealers that practiced "low ball" tactics. SBF has elevated low balling to an art form. I initially reached what I thought was a reasonable deal on a new Ford and the deal was approved by management. I then encountered about 3 weeks of every excuse they could think of as a reason that they would not put the deal in writing. Finally, I was told by a different manager that the lease price that we agreed to of $660 per month would now be over $900 per month. Needless to say I walked out. But I need to warn you that SBF is the absolute worst dealer. bar none. read more

I just bought a new to me, CPO F-150, from the crew at Sea Breeze. Prior to ending up at Sea Breeze, I had been shopping around at other local Ford Dealers. At the other dealerships, I found the typical "used car salesmen," pushy, arrogant, dishonest. I was pleasantly surprised to find the contrary at Sea Breeze. The guys at Sea Breeze treated me very well, were forthright with me about the trade-in value of my car, what my new car would cost and did not try to surprise me with any hidden fees like the other dealerships tried to do. The salesmen were knowledgeable and did not seem to mind as I peppered them with questions. When I was at one of their competitors, and asked if their F-150 came with a second key fob, the salesman said, "If it comes with one, it comes with one. If it doesn't, it doesn't." Glad I found my way to Sea Breeze and would definitely recommend their place. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but you will not have that problem at Sea Breeze. read more

Its finally time I sit down and write a review for Sea Breeze Ford. I live an hour drive from this place however I was referred to by a good friend who lives near there to see Artie. That was about 5 years ago and I have been doing exclusive business with them since for my new car purchases. Artie made things hassle free. Recently I was looking for a used car for my daughter and had the pleasure of working with Ray Conrad. He quickly checked his inventory and found something I would be interested in at a decent price. He was incredibly response to my needs. I don't have to tell anyone that buying a new or used car is one of life's worst experiences. The wheeling and dealing, the options, the financing, the pressure, etc. Who can you trust? Well I found Ray the Sales Consultant and I can tell you this is a good guy who puts his customers first. He is not pushy like the typical salesman you come across and he is truly sincere in trying to help you find the right car at the right price. I have done my homework and bought cars at other dealers over the many years and I have to honestly say Sea Breeze Ford has made me a happy customer. It was actually worth the drive to see Ray who made my experience a pleasant one. The way buying a car should be but often is not. What I liked about Ray is that he is a retired police officer so he is not your typical car salesman, not pushy, and down to earth. What more can you ask for. I would have given 3 stars except 1 day before my registration expires i find out that my plates have been in since June 18th and no one cared to call and notify my. My over all experience i brought my 2017 Cmax in for service because of the reviews and i was not disappointed. The service writer was very nice to work with and had my car done in a short period of time. As i was waiting for my Cmax i decided to browse and look at the 2018 Fusion with that being said i had to walk inside and walk around for 10 minutes and wait for Sales personnel to finish their important conversations with other Sales people. I noted there was only 1 other person buying a car at that time and 5 Sales Reps. Finally I met Gary after asking a sales manager for to have someone show me the Fusion. Gary showed me the Fusion and was great to work with throughout the whole process until the part when my plates came in and he never called or reached out. The only reason i gave this place 2 stars is because of the impression something shady was going on with the numbers in the finance dept as the finance guy kept calling over the sales manager and they were mumbling stuff right in front of me to make numbers work in their favor. Despite all that mumbling 1 week later i receive a call from Gary that the Ford will not complete the deal because they were trying to bury me in my Trade in which was the Cmax so they had no choice but to lower the numbers so ford could accept the deal. Once again i come in and have to sign new paper work and deal with shady practices all over again at which point i was about to just have them undo the deal and walkout because of how obvious they were making it. On top of all that my great sales person Gary who i gave great reviews never evens bother to call me and let me know my plates were in and no one from the dealership even followed up like i have witnessed in the past even from the most shitty dealerships. I will say this Seabreeze Ford service i will definitely take my car to for all services because of how well they treated me from walk in to end, but their sales dept lost me as a customer on their first impression to me. BEST FORD DEALER IN THE COUNTRY, BAR NONE!!!! WORTH 100 MILE DRIVE!!! THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOU WORK THERE!!!! Quick story: We had an addition to the family and our import was too small. We checked all the suv's. In our opinion, Dodge and Jeep seemed to appear too many times on the stolen list. We are not paying insurance for other guys (criminals) to drive and destroy our car. Nope. Not us. Honda not enough creature comforts for us. Nissan and Toyota didn't exude enough fun to drive. We liked the look of the new Ford Explorer. ALL of the police departments are now using them and they ARE pursuit rated and are authorized for police pursuits. They use a car chassis and are extremely stable. Not many suv's use a car chassis. We liked that for safety. I come from a law enforcement back round so I only trust other cops. Why is that? Because cops will NEVER screw another cop. Because it is a tight knit, closed circle community. If a cop ripped off another cop, word would spread in 2 days and his reputation would be shit every where for ever. That's why. I searched for a cop that may be working at a Ford dealer. A co worker told me he bought two cars from a guy named Ray Conrad at Sea Breeze Ford. I called the police department's union rep, where this guy Ray worked. He told me that Ray was solid and could be trusted. I called Ray and we were in the car when I hung up the phone. 70 Miles later, we arrived at the dealership. We were happy to see so many suvs in every color. WOW. Too many! Anyway, Ray was waiting for us with 3 sets of keys in his hand, one of each model. We didn't have to sit down and give our names and info and waste time. I liked that. No pressure sale. Okay good first impression I thought. We drove all three and loved the LIMITED. Driving all models back to back, you can feel the difference between them. The price was more than we intended to spend. Ray must have recognized the look on our faces and told us not to worry, that he had our backs. So I told him to show me not tell me. He took us to meet the general manager and they told us they WANTED OUR BUSINESS. They said they were not looking to make a deal, but they wanted to make customers. Okay they had my attention. We reviewed our credit and it was in the 500's. My wife couldn't work before and our credit suffered. Happens. The creditors would be penalizing us about $100.00 in each monthly payment due to the credit risk and it put us in a lower credit tier (level). My wife was crying and wanted out of our car. She is working again and said let's just get this over with. We told them our options list and they said they didn't have the suv on the lot but would locate one the next morning and would get it no problem. We left bummed out but we had faith in Ray. He told us our job was to come to him and his job was to get us the deal. The next morning he told us that he found the suv in PA and was going there himself to get it. We told him we would see him on the weekend. Excited like kids, we drove down later that day after dinner. Ray and his manager told us they shopped around and found a creditor that they use who worked great deals. They strategized and said if we put $2,000.00 over the minimum deposit, we would be escalated into the higher credit bracket and would save that $100.00 penalty every month. Nice move. We said get it done. Okay these guys are working FOR us. Refreshing situation here. We borrowed the money to save more money. We could have done it without the extra deposit but saving money works for us. We arrived at the dealer and saw a shiny new suv in the front. Ray welcomed us with a big smile. He walked us to his manager. They told us they had 2 types of news for us, Good and very good. They said they had lowered the monthly payment more than the $100.00 that they promised. They lowered it about $150.00 monthly. I LOVE IT. The increased deposit got us away from the credit penalty and then the amount actually lowered the over all loan amount by reducing he monthly payment even more. I was waiting for some catch. There was none. Believe it. Their credit manager must have worked in Mac Donald's as a kid because we were done with the paper work in 8 minutes. NO JOKE. It took more time to check all the features in the new suv than buying it. This purchase was painless. Never happened before and I leased a new car every 3 years since 1996. All took hours at the dealer where they wore me down and I gave up and just signed bad deals. I was tired. Not at this dealer. They told us they wanted customers not deals and they meant it. They really did. They THANKED us and didn't make us feel like they were doing us a favor like other dealers do. Do your home work and check these guys out. They won't call you 20 times a day and make you screen your calls. LOL. They didn't keep their promise, they BEAT their promise to us. Tell them you want the COP DEAL. Great experience!! Went to 5 Ford dealers on Saturday with various prices. Looked on the Sea Breeze website at their inventory on Sunday and found an Explorer we were interested in. Went in Monday and told them what we were willing to pay and how much we wanted for our trade-in. A couple minutes later the salesman came back with a slightly higher offer that was acceptable.
