It was helpful that there was a directory at the shuttle pickup islands indicating where each destination did pickups. But the signage and maps were initially confusing, and it had not been clear what level lead to hotel shuttles. Departure May 10 $ALK heading back to San Francisco. Arrived via Norwegian $NCLH port to airport shuttle $30, purchased at the port entire bus unloaded near Alaska Airlines, where $ALK $DAL both had luggage tagging available, you could also request mobility assistance but the waiting area on the lower level was jammed on this Sunday morning. this was the start of the Alaska cruising season so numerous ships were loading and unloading guests. Lots Alaska cruisers have mobility assistance needs so Sundays will be significantly impacted during the Alaska cruise season Months I would suggest if able to skip the mobility and bag tagging on the lower level , and just continue to the upper level if able and if you have priority status. Security was not bad but remove laptops, iPads from bags. if your shaving kit has bottles that are large containing liquids pack them into a checked bag. FYI, if flying Alaska $ALK, and you pay for your ticket with the base fee credit card you can check one bag at no cost, 1st class you get 2 checked bags per flight. Bag fees can justify the Credit Card Fee or enhanced Fare Seat Purchase. TSA was on my day painless, I present a passport when flying or cruising. Movement within the terminal was easy via the internal rail. Needed to use the toilet near my gate, and all of the toilets had their rolls of tissue Exhausted, I Pack a roll of tissue in my carry bag in addition to wipes just in case of situations like this. Terminal felt slightly claustrophobic, and gate lounges were full with barely enough seating. The positive was that you walk less, but the spaces feel full. SEA and SFO move near equal number of passengers, but SEA felt far more crowded on my departure days.

It can take a few trains to get there, depending on where you are. You still have the ability to get some snack, use the restroom and such, but make sure you have what you need before getting on all the way to the terminal, because it takes a little longer to get there. It's a little ratty and seems a bit run down. Mostly standing room, like most terminals anymore, unfortunately.

I wish all airports would let you stretch your legs and strut from one end of the terminals to the other, like Atlanta does. All that being said, SEA and the North Satellite Terminal are in overall good condition and the letter/numbering system is straightforward and easy to follow. Like most airports, stairs are an after-thought yet all of the escalators and aforementioned trams were in good condition.

When I asked her for another beverage, she starred at me like I was an alien and then finally said yes with a bad look on her face. Once I landed, my bag took 50 minutes to show up on the carousel. The station that we used to get onto the rail was the - Angle Lake Station, because it was the closest station in proximity to where my friend lived. The Angle Lake Station had a very large parking garage. After parking our car, it was a breeze to get onto the light rail & make our way to Pike Place Market, as well as Lumen Field. I can see how effective it is when light rail is built, & utilized properly. It certainly saved us a lot of money in the sense that we didn't have to look for parking while attending the Seahawks game, as I saw some parking places charging like $90.00 for game day parking. More rail stations are still being constructed, and my friend said he couldn't wait till the rail station in Federal Way is finished.

I opted to buy myself an Orca card and take this train to work at the Seatac airport for a week because the parking lot was going to be having some access issues due to construction and I didn't want to risk being late. This train system is a joke! First of all, if I opted to take this thing daily instead of driving myself to work, I would pay more in train fare than I ever pay for putting gas in my car. On top of that, you either end up waiting for a train to arrive up to 15 minutes or waiting on your train to leave again, up to 15 minutes or you plain miss your train because they only stop long enough to let the people on get off and the people who are already on the platform get on. One of the mornings when I got off work at 4:30 am, I rushed to catch the train that is supposed to show up at 4:44 am. As I was approaching the train station at 4:42, I watched as my train left the station 2 whole minutes before it was even supposed to arrive and I was stuck waiting 15 minutes for the next one. When I drive to and from work, I get home in about 40 minutes, but this waste of time takes me over an hour. So, in review, I did not save money. I did not save time, and I ended up stressed out and frustrated with their system. Unless you have to, I would not recommend using this train for anything other than getting to concerts and sporting events in downtown Seattle. That is the only time that this train has ever been worth the cost for my family.

At the airport, staff refused to honor this and demanded an extra $120 baggage fee before letting him check in. I personally had to pay the $120 on my credit card while the supervisor (Sonu Khunt) stood by, refusing to issue his boarding pass otherwise. This was not optional, it was pay or miss the flight. Condor's own website clearly says online Premium Economy upgrades include the 32 kg bag. Their staff ignored this policy, and the fee was charged under duress. I've filed a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Travelers beware: Condor may not honor their advertised Premium Economy baggage benefits.
