Great place to park and ride to the stadiums! Free parking and I felt safe. Makes leaving the game much easie.

Really brand new area. The structure and design were really modern and cool. I hope they continue to extend the light rail. It does get busy and packed. It will take 45-hour to get from here to downtown Seattle. Also there's a pick/drop off location. Pretty cool area if you don't want to drive all the way downtown

    Cool hanging art!

I prefer using the Tukwila Link Station, but I can never find parking there in the late morning! Having looked into other options, I found that the Angle Lake Station had opened just a few days before my quest! I parked at Angle Lake this morning and my trip to UW went flawlessly! Angle Lake has 70 uncovered parking spots directly beneath the station platform, and another 1,050 in a 6-story parking garage across the street from the station. I parked in the uncovered parking and found it to be safe and simple. The spots are hidden from the street. It was closer to the station entrance than the parking garage was, so I think I will park there a lot in the coming months. I can't speak to the parking garage yet, but I know that at 10am on a Wednesday only half of the uncovered parking spots were taken. More to follow!

This station is both beautiful (the blue parking garage and "the cloud" art) and super handy! The huge parking garage has over 1,000 stalls. They offer cheap permits online, and also have non-permit parking. Trains run from 5am until 1am. There are bike racks, and a beautiful lake nearby! Try the bakery across the street!

Good thing we don't have tornadoes here.

The tradition of sound transit is, 'if we build it and cut service, we still don't understand why you're not using mass transit.' This station is one of the Crown Jewels of that mantra. In order to attempt to divert riders off the perpetually reduced service Sounder, this station was mapped out on the Light Link plan. Honestly, the neighborhood is not all that bad, but there is almost nothing to do around this station making it a park and ride nightmare. Fortunately for me, this station is the closest and one of the most decent. My only really complaint is having to take a bicycle on the elevator. Escalators should be more accessible. There's probably some absurd cost saving decision behind their insistence that escalators that are too narrow for proper flow of people. Overall, not a terrible place. There was no time to search for a bathroom, but if you're going to be out here in the boondocks, I would hope facilities were available. If you're a visitor trying to make sense of our signage, don't worry, none of the locals understand it either. We just wander around and give up if it proves too much a struggle, which only further deteriorates our relationship with mass transit. Pro tip: if you cut service and make riders stand out in the cold waiting for longer periods of time, you're contributing to the plague. Maybe not the transit we wanted, but this is the transit we deserve.

I absolutely love the new station! So glad that i opened shortly after I moved here. Before I used to go to Seatac station. Whats great about Angle Lake, besides the fact that its new, is that not too many people are using right now. Every morning is so pleasant. Because its the first stop, you get your pick of seating with a fight. But the best thing about Angle Lake is that it has the best view in SeaTac. Looking towrds the back of it you are treated to views of the sound and the long road that's 200th going up into the tree filled hill. It's so beautiful that sometimes I just stad there and enjoy i for a few minutes before getting on the light rail. Everyone should try it. Love that I get to come here every morning.

Very easy to get on the train, parking is tight though, plan for time to find parking which might be in local pay lots.

Arrived via Norwegian $NCLH port to airport shuttle $30, purchased at the port entire bus unloaded near Alaska Airlines, where $ALK $DAL both had luggage tagging available, you could also request mobility assistance but the waiting area on the lower level was jammed on this Sunday morning. this was the start of the Alaska cruising season so numerous ships were loading and unloading guests. Lots Alaska cruisers have mobility assistance needs so Sundays will be significantly impacted during the Alaska cruise season Months I would suggest if able to skip the mobility and bag tagging on the lower level , and just continue to the upper level if able and if you have priority status. Security was not bad but remove laptops, iPads from bags. if your shaving kit has bottles that are large containing liquids pack them into a checked bag. FYI, if flying Alaska $ALK, and you pay for your ticket with the base fee credit card you can check one bag at no cost, 1st class you get 2 checked bags per flight. Bag fees can justify the Credit Card Fee or enhanced Fare Seat Purchase. TSA was on my day painless, I present a passport when flying or cruising. Movement within the terminal was easy via the internal rail. Needed to use the toilet near my gate, and all of the toilets had their rolls of tissue Exhausted, I Pack a roll of tissue in my carry bag in addition to wipes just in case of situations like this. Terminal felt slightly claustrophobic, and gate lounges were full with barely enough seating. The positive was that you walk less, but the spaces feel full. SEA and SFO move near equal number of passengers, but SEA felt far more crowded on my departure days.

I opted to buy myself an Orca card and take this train to work at the Seatac airport for a week because the parking lot was going to be having some access issues due to construction and I didn't want to risk being late. This train system is a joke! First of all, if I opted to take this thing daily instead of driving myself to work, I would pay more in train fare than I ever pay for putting gas in my car. On top of that, you either end up waiting for a train to arrive up to 15 minutes or waiting on your train to leave again, up to 15 minutes or you plain miss your train because they only stop long enough to let the people on get off and the people who are already on the platform get on. One of the mornings when I got off work at 4:30 am, I rushed to catch the train that is supposed to show up at 4:44 am. As I was approaching the train station at 4:42, I watched as my train left the station 2 whole minutes before it was even supposed to arrive and I was stuck waiting 15 minutes for the next one. When I drive to and from work, I get home in about 40 minutes, but this waste of time takes me over an hour. So, in review, I did not save money. I did not save time, and I ended up stressed out and frustrated with their system. Unless you have to, I would not recommend using this train for anything other than getting to concerts and sporting events in downtown Seattle. That is the only time that this train has ever been worth the cost for my family.

This means that one can take one train without transfer from here to Bellevue and Redmond, crossing Lake Washington on the world's first light rail pontoon railway. My wife and I took this route while visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Bellevue, and the crossing was a routine non-event, just like it is supposed to be. My last review for this station was 2 years, at which time, only the 1 line serviced this station. Because of the way they designed the routes, the inclusion of the 2 line was seamless, requiring no station outages during the transition. My only small gripe is the signage at a major connection point at the center near the elevators, still only shows the 1 line (with its stops at the airport and university), instead of now the opening of the entire East side of Puget Sound area, accessible via the 2 line. It's confusing for visitors...better just to state that lower level is for Sound Transit, instead of explicitly naming each line, if they don't want to change the signage every time. Another big addition that occurred earlier this year (Feb '26), is the use of tap-to-pay (using a tap enabled payment card to pay for fare at the point of entry) at all stations and bus lines (like NYC and London has). We still ended up using our preloaded Orca card this trip, but can discontinue that for future (unless taking the Monorail, which still requires an Orca card). Transfers are free for 2 hours from the first tap (excluding the Monorail), with initial charge being $3. There are no gates, with the pay stations being intentionally out of the way...it really is about the honor system to tap. We also used Westlake station as the transfer point to get from the monorail on the 3rd floor of the Westlake shopping center down to the lower level where the station actually is. Connecting to the 1 line, we got to Sea-Tac airport station in 41 minutes (though from there, it's quite a walk to get to the terminal area).

It is named such being next door to Benaroya Hall, the home of the Seattle Symphony. The entrances to the subway system in downtown Seattle are (unintentionally?) hidden. Google will get you to the right corner, but the entrance/exit is specifically in one place. In this case, it's the SouthWest corner of the building, so had to walk around until I found signs for it...even then, it's just not as easy to find as other stations in more transit-intensive cities. You need to choose which train you want to take, before going down the appropriate set of stairs. Once on the platform, one would notice the extreme amount of space between the tracks going in opposite direction, and the lack of height from the platform and the tracks. The gap between the tracks is wide enough to handle 3 or more lanes of cars...so I wondered "That's a lot of work to dig just to allow repair vehicles to come down". Later I learned the history behind it. The Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel was initially built (dug) to handle transit buses, serving that purpose from 1990 to 2005, and then shared by light rail and buses from 2005 to 2019. During that time, it was one of only two tunnels shared by both buses and trains in the U.S. Now it is just for Light Rail, with the large bus lanes being a remnant of the past.
