The overhead light didn't work. The barstools are broken. The closet door is falling off and everything is stained and grimy and just disgusting. Needless to say I woke up. I'm exhausted. My body is killing me and I checked out. I canceled the rest of my days. I'd rather sleep in my car or just go home.

Sea Place 11209 was the worse condo we have ever stayed in. We are covered with ant bites from the…read morebed. We were told the condo was new, but it is very old. Screens are so rusted they wouldn't close, one door was almost imposable to shut. It just went through the worse remodeling. The cheap floors are buckled and cracked so bad that my wife thought the second floor was to cave in. The light fixture over the dining room keeps flickering, making us worry about the place burning down. They had remote light switches that were so poorly installed that when you remove them the holder came off the wall. The kitchen cabinets had this very cheap vinyl heat shrink that was very poorly installed. You could see where the walls were touched up by painting spots with unmatched paint color, you would think for remolding, they would paint all the walls.. All day the walls were banging from the apartment next door being remodeled. This kept the outside deck and chairs covered with sawdust. The beach access was nice.

I stayed at Pierpoint South Unit 60 this past week. The pros: Excellent beach view and access. The…read morewasher/ dryer work well. The cons: VERY uncomfortable furniture! The pictures on the Pierpoint South website show the correct furniture but their pictures must be old as all furniture is old, worn out and almost unbearable to sit in. Kitchen needs work, broken drawers, old & rusty flatware and knives. When you run the water in the kitchen sink, it makes a horrific sound. Downstairs bathroom has a corroded faucet and what appears to be black mold in the air vent. Upstairs guest bathroom has mismatched floor tiles and the shower tile grout is stained from what appears to be mold. The master bathroom has stained tile/ grout in the shower. The mattress was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable, we flipped the mattress to try and help get a better night's sleep but it did not help. The balcony furniture is the cheap plastic stuff that looks pretty disgusting. The sliding glass door to the balcony was absolutely filthy!!! We used water and towels to clean it just so we could enjoy the ocean view. I will definitely not stay in Unit 60 again!

Any Maintenance issues (which have been minimal) have been resolved very quickly and Grounds are immaculate. We've stayed in both the Oceanfront (unit 63, 60) and Oceanview Units (Units 16,34,18). There really is NO BAD VIEW in the entire Complex. The Salt Water Pool is always sparkling. The Complex is one of the closest, if not the closest to the Beach on the Island. The Wednesday Farmers Market right next door in front of the Pier is something that we never miss. They sell everything from Beach Jewelry to fresh Seafood. The Live Band and Food during the Summers in front of the Pier is something that we never miss. Oh and I cannot leave out Rita's Ice Cream and Antonio's Pizza right next door. The BEST surprise came when we went down for the last week of Dec in 2021. The New Year Fireworks off of the Pier Party was fabulous and Pier Point South hired Security to keep the Complex from getting bombarded with non Guests. It was very easy for us to get our pass as the front is manned by security... I want to say 24/7. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. Our room was very clean upon arrival. Two bed, two bath with a kitchen and large sitting area. Any time we came in contact with staff they were always very friendly. The pool area gets cleaned every morning and is a pretty decent size. Granted, we came on memorial weekend, but their was still enough space for my family to sit out by the pool. A quick walk down the little boardwalk they have gave you access to the beach, which if you've never been to St. Agustine, is a beautiful beach. I hope that we can continue the tradition of coming this this wonderful beach resort.

They have everything you want and need to enjoy a beautiful break from your daily routine so that you can relax, beautiful pools, beautiful beaches, tennis, pickle ball, shuffle board, basketball court, access to beach from private exits.. the staff is so amazing and helpful you can tell they truly love what they do and want you to have fun and the best experiences. This is an excellent place to stay. The condos are spacious and clean. They all have patios or…read morebalconies or both. Lots of space to enjoy the outdoors. What makes this place unique is the beautiful tropical gardens. The down side is that it does not have a heated pool. All through the winter months ,the pool is unusable except for the most hardy. Also, if you have any trouble with mobility you will have great difficulty getting to the beach because there is a huge sand dune that you must climb over to get to the beach. There are two tennis courts and a hot tub. Many other resorts have more amenities. We give SeaWinds 5 stars for its excellent location, close to restaurants and shopping, beautiful gardens, ponds and wildlife, convenience of condos with garages and driveways. The pros far outweigh the cons.

The beach is accessible via two walkways with secured gates. There are a number of amenities at the facility including a heated pool (which stays pretty cold), a tennis court, a shuffleboard, and a community room complete with supplies for shuffleboard and tennis. There is also a small workout center which we did not use. The pool is kept super clean. The deck furniture is weather-worn and rusty but functional. The building itself shows age but is keep clean. The parking lot is small and will accommodate only one car per unit. If you get a unit that sleeps eight you need to fit them in one vehicle. Yikes. The grounds are nice and well kept with natural dune vegetation between condos and beach. We saw a large land turtle often while crossing the walk. The stairwells and elevators are kept tidy and are well lit. During the week of Christmas there was seldom a manager on site to answer question but she would return a call within 24 hours. We rented two units. 303 was dated but clean and had the best view of the beach and ocean. 303 is also pet friendly. 206 is lovely updated and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and owners go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. 206 does not allow pets. Seasonal rates apply to both units. We spent many hours walking on the pristine beach and finding an occasional shell. We also enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the fishing boats. So lovely. The complex is only 5 miles from St Augustine beaches and attractions. There are some great restaurants nearby. I can't wait to back. One of our best beach renters ever.
