My family has been coming to the Crescent Sandpiper for years and we have only positive things to…read moresay about it. The layout of the condos is a U shape, so that every single unit is facing the beach and has a balcony or porch with a view of the ocean. They have maintenance that can come help if you have any issues with your unit. There is a pool and kiddie pool. We have never had a reason to rent a condo anywhere else, we love the Crescent Sandpiper!

You get a small apartment with 2 tvs, oceanfront patio/balcony, and kitchen for the price of an even smaller hotel room that probably wouldn't have any of that. Our unit came stocked with cooking supplies, books, beach chairs and an umbrella. The complex itself is situated on a great beach for families along with a heated pool (which I found clean and uncrowded both times we stayed). Beachers Lodge is also located in a safe area close to activities, stores and restaurants. We had a few minor issues this time around; the family room remote didn't want to work, the pillows were flat and hard, and we could have used a couple more towels. The biggest issue was that we didn't have sheets for the pull out couch and we had a dirty blanket. However, our leasing manager was quick to respond and fix the issue. Most people staying here are young families. And for people on a budget, this is a good deal. It's hard to find beachfront condos at this price in any city in Florida.

It really should be below bronze. The pictures are extremely deceptive! The decoration are stated as "Mediterranean" style. In reality, it is a garage sale hodgepodge of old, grimy, falling-apart kiddie furniture that I would more properly categorize as "Early Halloween". The management and cleaning staff are pleasant. The beach is wonderful. The view is fabulous. The "condo" is a disgrace. The grime on everything is just disgusting. My wife and I had to wipe down everything with alcohol. The metal entrance door is thick with gunk. The cabinets look like they were repurposed from someone's garage. The pots and pans are very few and have unhealthy peeling teflon on the frying pans. There is a space between the stove and the counters where food bits have seemingly fallen down into over the years. The bathroom is missing trim and the edges of the drywall are starting to turn moldy. The tile floors are ok, but we were afraid to walk barefoot. There is zero storage space and almost no counter space in either the kitchen or the bathroom. Most importantly, the sliding glass door has a corroded nonfunctional lock. Someone decided that putting a shower curtain rod in the track would fix everything. Well, curtain rods compress without much pressure, right? There is lots of mismatched, hand-painted furniture. The brown pullout sofa is quite putrid looking and we avoided even sitting on it. Who would sleep on such a grimy thing? The king bed mattress is old and needs replacement. It has two very deep "body imprints". Never again.

They have everything you want and need to enjoy a beautiful break from your daily routine so that you can relax, beautiful pools, beautiful beaches, tennis, pickle ball, shuffle board, basketball court, access to beach from private exits.. the staff is so amazing and helpful you can tell they truly love what they do and want you to have fun and the best experiences. I always recommend this place to all my family and friends to stay when they come to visit.

THE OCEAN GALLERY REVIEW: 310 PREMIER VISTA WAY…read more In planning for our one week yearly summer beach getaway to St. Augustine, we came across a lovely beach condo at the Ocean Gallery. It was the most expensive rental place for us so far (over $3000), but it had a beautiful view of the beach and looked very nice in the pictures. What we found upon arriving was the exact opposite of what was in the ad. All of the things wrong should have been caught if the complex was managed well and they checked each unit BEFORE it was rented to the next guest! Let me list the many things that we found: The bathroom sink in the second bath barely drained. Th toilet in the second bathroom was loose and the maintenance people said they needed to replace it, so to be very careful in using it. The toilet in the first bathroom ran all the time. The screen porch screen was off its track. The closet door was also off track. The door to the patio was broken and could not be locked. Broken baseboard pulled away from the wall in the main bedroom. Old, stained, and torn furniture on the patio. (I have a great picture). Along with all of these problems, the kitchen and the glass patio doors were SO FILTHY that we had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to wash the doors and cabinets in the kitchen before we would consider putting our food in the cabinets or enjoying the patio. Because it was LABOR DAY WEEKEND, we were not able to talk to the management the day that we arrived. So we enjoyed St Augustine as best we could, but a few days before we left, we spoke to Anne, the manager of the Ocean Gallery. We were very unsatisfied with her response...that is the main reason I wanted to let other renters know that this company is ONLY interested in getting your money but not in keeping you happy! It should be the responsibility of the rental company to check our each unit BEFORE it is rented! The renter should not have to bring such a long list to the management while they are trying to enjoy their one-week beach vacation! This is NOT THE TRUE GEM that I always look for and I would say RENTERS BEWARE OF THE OCEAN GALLERY!! It is NOT MANAGED WELL!!!

I had the pleasure of staying at this rental and had to write a review on Yelp to let others know…read morethat this stay was a pleasant experience. For the price you can't go wrong. The home is spacious and features 4 br/3ba, + a 2 car garage, The master bedroom has an hdtv w/ bluray player and a large 2 person Jacuzzi type tub in the master suite bath with large outdoor decks upstairs and downstairs for the most spectacular sunsets over the Matanzas river. The home has 5 HDTV's with surround sound in living area. dvd and Blu-ray players. Located one block from some of the most secluded and nicest beaches anywhere. Back inside the main area is large and open. The kitchen is very nice boasting an additional prep sink. The bedrooms are also large and well appointed (all have hdtv's) The house has new Samsung appliances and a washer and dryer. The rental was fully stocked with everything you need. They have wireless internet throughout the property. You can't go wrong with the location which is only 15 minutes to downtown St Augustine and 30 minutes to Daytona Beach. Summer Paradise will not disappoint! They allow pets.

The beach is accessible via two walkways with secured gates. There are a number of amenities at the facility including a heated pool (which stays pretty cold), a tennis court, a shuffleboard, and a community room complete with supplies for shuffleboard and tennis. There is also a small workout center which we did not use. The pool is kept super clean. The deck furniture is weather-worn and rusty but functional. The building itself shows age but is keep clean. The parking lot is small and will accommodate only one car per unit. If you get a unit that sleeps eight you need to fit them in one vehicle. Yikes. The grounds are nice and well kept with natural dune vegetation between condos and beach. We saw a large land turtle often while crossing the walk. The stairwells and elevators are kept tidy and are well lit. During the week of Christmas there was seldom a manager on site to answer question but she would return a call within 24 hours. We rented two units. 303 was dated but clean and had the best view of the beach and ocean. 303 is also pet friendly. 206 is lovely updated and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and owners go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. 206 does not allow pets. Seasonal rates apply to both units. We spent many hours walking on the pristine beach and finding an occasional shell. We also enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching the fishing boats. So lovely. The complex is only 5 miles from St Augustine beaches and attractions. There are some great restaurants nearby. I can't wait to back. One of our best beach renters ever.
