I had a check engine light that nobody from Portland all the way down to Modesto could figure out. After going through 5 O2 sensors and countless labor hours at multiple shops, Tina made sure her guys went through every bit of wiring to figure out what was wrong. They had my truck from opening to closing with her guys going through everything to find the problem. Only her shop was able to figure out that the ground wire was gone, which was why the sensor kept blowing. Tina and her guys also changed a sensor on my transmission that went out due to a bad service change in Portland before driving down. They had the sensor, and was much cheaper than anybody else. In all, Tina and all of the guys that were working on my truck were amazing. They talked to me while they were finishing up my truck, offered me drinks, even hung out and talked after they were all done. This is a small shop that shows they truly care about their customers. Their work was better than anybody else that I entrusted my truck to, their prices were way better, and they took the time to make sure every problem with my truck was fixed before they let me get in to take it away. I will always call Tina first with any issues that I have.

WOW - Great Service!…read more On a recent trip up north to our daughter's college graduation, I was getting off of Hyw 99 near Stockton when I noticed my battery gauge was heading south, then the radio shut off - at that moment I knew we were in trouble. My F-150 was still running, but I figured that my alternator died and I started to look for a repair garage. I turned down the first industrial side street I could find, and BOOM - there was a one-car-garage with a mechanic hard at work. The mild-mannered mechanic stopped what he was doing and came to our rescue. After performing a few test, he ordered my part and said, "go have lunch for a couple of hours, I'll call you when it's done". We did, but it was only an hour and a half before Cesar was calling us to come get our truck and get on our way. It was luck that we broke down where we did, but it was MORE THAN LUCK that we rolled up to Quintero's Auto Repair! THANK YOU Cesar for making our trip a happy adventure, not a bad nightmare.

We had no choice but to drop into a random mechanic in Stockton for help. We pulled up and these guys immediately put aside what they were doing and spent almost an hour troubleshooting. And in the end they weren't even going to charge me a diagnostic fee! But I insisted. Thank you, Quintero's. You're good people.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this company!…read more My wife called Express Transmission at 4:30p to say another auto place said the car we were gonna buy had transmission issues. The other company said do not buy the car! The guy who answered the phone at told her to bring it down and they would get to the car first thing in the morning. She dropped off the 2004 Caddy and was greeted by their friendly staff and a Boston terrier named "Bullseye". (We are assuming it's family owned by the puppy and little girl running around) She was surprised there was no fee for the diagnostic and left the car in hopes the damages weren't gonna be high! She got a call the next day basically stating they tried hard to find what the other company was taking about, however the car checked out great! We decided to leave the car another day and have them do a transmission service. I feel this company is more than fair, thorough, and reasonably priced. I would have to recommend them and will return when needed, due to our experience! Thanks for taking care of my wife's "new to her" car guys! Keep up the great work! Businesses like this that do what's best for the customer first, are always successful!

I'd appreciate an update or a general ETA. This review is not complete as I still don't have any update on my car nor even an estimated cost of repair. Thankfully I have a ride to and from work but if I didn't, I'd really be screwed. I will update my review once the car comes back, but at this point I am losing hope that I will ever get my car back in a timely manner.

AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care - Manager Brandon…read more I've owned my Montero Sport for 25 years. She's more than just a vehicle--she's carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life. Earlier this year, I began experiencing issues: the check engine light came on, and at residential speed, it felt like someone had hit me from behind--though no one was around. I took my vehicle to a shop I'd previously used for routine maintenance. After a diagnostic, they told me I needed a new transmission, quoting me over $5,000. What followed was nearly three months of delays, incorrect parts, excuses, and ultimately a suggestion to "graveyard" my Montero. I refused. My vehicle still had life in her, and I wasn't about to let go without a real solution. Searching online, I found AAMCO. While I was hesitant due to mixed reviews, I called and spoke with Manager Brandon. From the first conversation, he was respectful, professional, and kind. I explained everything I had gone through. He offered me a clear estimate, assured me they had financing options, and most importantly--he listened. From start to finish, Brandon kept me informed every step of the way. All communication was remote ~ I never stepped foot in the shop--but I always felt like my vehicle was in good hands. After just two weeks, my Montero was up and running smoothly, for a Catalytic Converter replacement and the cost was nowhere near what the previous shop had quoted. Even better, Brandon made sure my vehicle was safely secured for pickup after hours. I'm big on customer service, and I can truly say I was treated with dignity and care throughout this process. Brandon, thank you sincerely ~you are deeply appreciated for helping me through what had become an exhausting ordeal. You and your team at AAMCO restored my trust and brought my Montero back to life. I will absolutely return here for any future repairs, and I highly recommend speaking with Brandon if you're in need of honest and efficient service. Thank you again, Brandon. -- Jamaca'
