I had a check engine light that nobody from Portland all the way down to Modesto could figure out. After going through 5 O2 sensors and countless labor hours at multiple shops, Tina made sure her guys went through every bit of wiring to figure out what was wrong. They had my truck from opening to closing with her guys going through everything to find the problem. Only her shop was able to figure out that the ground wire was gone, which was why the sensor kept blowing. Tina and her guys also changed a sensor on my transmission that went out due to a bad service change in Portland before driving down. They had the sensor, and was much cheaper than anybody else. In all, Tina and all of the guys that were working on my truck were amazing. They talked to me while they were finishing up my truck, offered me drinks, even hung out and talked after they were all done. This is a small shop that shows they truly care about their customers. Their work was better than anybody else that I entrusted my truck to, their prices were way better, and they took the time to make sure every problem with my truck was fixed before they let me get in to take it away. I will always call Tina first with any issues that I have.

AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care - Manager Brandon…read more I've owned my Montero Sport for 25 years. She's more than just a vehicle--she's carried me through some of the hardest chapters of my life. Earlier this year, I began experiencing issues: the check engine light came on, and at residential speed, it felt like someone had hit me from behind--though no one was around. I took my vehicle to a shop I'd previously used for routine maintenance. After a diagnostic, they told me I needed a new transmission, quoting me over $5,000. What followed was nearly three months of delays, incorrect parts, excuses, and ultimately a suggestion to "graveyard" my Montero. I refused. My vehicle still had life in her, and I wasn't about to let go without a real solution. Searching online, I found AAMCO. While I was hesitant due to mixed reviews, I called and spoke with Manager Brandon. From the first conversation, he was respectful, professional, and kind. I explained everything I had gone through. He offered me a clear estimate, assured me they had financing options, and most importantly--he listened. From start to finish, Brandon kept me informed every step of the way. All communication was remote ~ I never stepped foot in the shop--but I always felt like my vehicle was in good hands. After just two weeks, my Montero was up and running smoothly, for a Catalytic Converter replacement and the cost was nowhere near what the previous shop had quoted. Even better, Brandon made sure my vehicle was safely secured for pickup after hours. I'm big on customer service, and I can truly say I was treated with dignity and care throughout this process. Brandon, thank you sincerely ~you are deeply appreciated for helping me through what had become an exhausting ordeal. You and your team at AAMCO restored my trust and brought my Montero back to life. I will absolutely return here for any future repairs, and I highly recommend speaking with Brandon if you're in need of honest and efficient service. Thank you again, Brandon. -- Jamaca'

I have a 2000 Montero Sport, and as anyone with an older vehicle knows, repairs can sometimes come with a few humps and bumps along the way. Klent was very transparent throughout the entire process and even showed me videos explaining the issue with my fuel sending unit/gas gauge problem, which was causing my gas light to come on even when the tank wasn't empty. The part took a little time to order, but he stayed patient and kept me informed every step of the way. What stood out most to me was the honesty and integrity. When my horn stopped working, Klent initially believed I needed a new horn, but after speaking further with Tim, he realized it was only the relay. Instead of charging me for unnecessary repairs, he immediately corrected it, located the relay locally through O'Reilly, and had Tim install it the very same day. My horn now works perfectly, and I truly appreciated that level of honesty and efficiency. Another thoughtful gesture was when Klent noticed the attachment for my gas cap had broken off. As a courtesy, he replaced it so I would no longer risk losing the gas cap. Small acts like that truly matter. Overall, I received a tune-up, spark plugs, oil change, diagnostics, and several repairs, and I left feeling valued as a customer. The atmosphere was always warm, welcoming, and respectful. Thank you, Klent and Tim, for taking such good care of my Montero Sport. I truly appreciate your professionalism and kindness, and I look forward to returning for future maintenance and oil changes.
