Tiny shop with a big heart. Family run engine and general car repairs, located down from the Stockton Swap meet on N Wilson. This was one of the few times that I had used Yelp's project feature to find a mechanic. Robles's auto repair was the quickest to reply and also ended up having one of the most competitive prices. Using the project feature of Yelp allowed me to stay in constant communication with Gabriel. I was kept abreast of the repairs on my vehicle and they even stuck around a little after hours to make sure I could get my car after the repairs were done. That Stockton traffic can be a doozy. The issue with my vehicle was a leak in the radiator that Mercedes said would cost $2400 to repair at the dealership, but with Robles's auto repair, I was able to do it for under $800. The parts in general are not what's expensive just my model and Mercedes has a lot of pieces that have to be removed to get access to the radiator. Now my car is running great and I should be good for a long time. If you're looking for a family run business, this is your next stop for your engine, rebuild transmission, rebuild, and general automotive repairs read more

From the very start professional and prices were realistic, the Owner Gabriel is great he gave me a ride even though he was leaving for a trip. The service was fast and efficient, the shop workers were pleasant. I would recommend Robles Auto Repair. I will return for any other services needed. I could go on but this shop was a blessing. read more

Amazing! Had been doing price quotes for my 100k service that I was dreading, new had to get done. The quotes received were very expensive and not in budget. I located Robles Auto and received quick response from the owner with what I needed at an exceptional price. Did my research he answered my questions and very pleasant to talk too. Thank you for servicing my car and be back and refer to you. read more

Super responsive, professional, and punctual. From our initial contact to the actual day of the job the guys at Robles Auto were on top of their game. I had the front passenger CV axle replaced on my 2013 Subaru Outback and even when I showed up with the wrong part the team helped me order the new part same day and I was out of there in 2 hours! Definitely would recommend them! read more

Robles Auto Repair delivers exactly what most shops promise and few actually provide: reliability, professionalism, and fair pricing. From the very first message, their responsiveness stood out. Communication was prompt, clear, and respectful, which immediately set the tone for the experience. That professionalism carried through every step, from the initial contact to dropping off our Escalade for new brakes and rotors. The shop itself isn't flashy, and that turns out to be part of its charm. What it lacks in frills, it more than makes up for in competence and integrity. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and straightforward, with no upselling or pressure. Most importantly, the work was completed exactly when they said it would be, something that feels increasingly rare in auto repair. The quality of service paired with the best price we found made this an easy win. Robles Auto Repair proves that excellent service doesn't need a fancy showroom, just honesty, skill, and respect for the customer's time. Highly recommended. read more

I got my lower control arms done 3 months ago. They didnt even provide an alignment afterwards. Then i started hearing squeaks from my car... then after getting an alignment i had to get another soon after. Now my car shakes when i get on the freeway... looked up what could be causing all these problems... oh lower control arms. They made it worse than it was before read more

Quick reply and helpful. Answered my questions and was upfront with the cost of service.

Took my car in to replace fuel pump, they work on it for 3 months and put in a wrong pump.charged me $2,650 and its still NOT fix.owner promised to find the correct pump, but after 45 days still can't find one, so i found one on ebay in 2 days n pay another $60.then they told me the car was done, when i drove the car home, the transmission went out, had to tow the car back to their shop again and now all my fuel gauges is messed up. They're a JOKE! Since they got paid, they don't want to fix my car no more, basically i got ripped off, and the owner knows nothing about fixing cars, trusting these guys with my car was one of my biggest mistakes read more

After searching out a reputable mechanic to replace the transmission in my 2018 Ford F-150, I came into contact with Robles. I can't tell you how happy I am with them. Robles not only saved me serious money on the transmission and repairs to a couple of oil leak's, they went above and beyond to accommodate my after hour schedule. They kept me informed several times a day as to the progress and had my truck back to me in under 3 days. I would highly recommend them to anyone. This business is ran the old fashioned way as far as customer service with the benefit of today's technology. read more

I contacted Robles auto shop to get a quote to get a used engine put into my 2007 Acura TL. I got a fast reply and the price was very reasonable compared to the other shops I contacted so I made an appointment and was able to get my car into the shop within a couple of days. While my car was in the shop the owner kept me informed on when he would start working on my car, and also informed me that I need a new motor mount. Also let me know when my car was ready. After driving it for 9 months now the car is running great and no issues. I appreciated the way they kept me informed and the work that was done in a timely manner. read more

Gabriel's prices were through the roof for what little work needed to be done on an older truck I explained to him that he has a brain injury and may have trouble with what needed to be done Gabriel took advantage of us he took advantage of an old man shame on him. Gabriel then told us he doesn't accept credit because they charged 4% interest he ask us to bring cash or use venmo my dad wanted to pay with his card he's familiar with this but Gabriel refused his card and told him he wanted cash! That's so he doesn't have to pay taxes at the end of the year! how sad is that of a business right. read more

ROBLES AUTOMOTIVE STOCKTON, CA. I would not use this shop to just save money. You will pay more because you will have to pay someone else to fix their mistakes. They swapped out my motor with a new one. Brought my truck back four times cause of oil pan leaking still not right to this day. My oil pan and timing chain cover leak they are terrible at what they do. None of their technicians are certified on anything. I got my truck back from them one time five of the oil pan bolts where not screwed all the way in. Engine light came on every week they just would reset and say good to go. So, I had to pay someone to fix it $600.00 out of my pocket to fix the problem. When they pulled the motor, they cut some hoses and taped it back together that was the problem with the engine light. My four-wheel drive has stopped working because they cut out all of the vacuum lines that engage it. They are worthless pieces of shit. I would not let this shop change my air filter. When you see their adds for discounted work run the other way. They are worthless and should be shut down. I called the Bureau of automotive repair, and they said they have had many of complaints and asked me why I choose them, I said because they offered a four-year unlimited mileage warranty. RUN THE OTHER WAY WHEN YOU SEE THERE NAME OFFERING DISCOUNTED WORK. Do not trust them!!!!! read more

if there was a NEGATIVE rating this place would get it! Friend of mine took his car for a "Engine Light" last week. First - they had the car for almost 6 hours. Second - they had the car in the air of course and were able to see everything...right? Or you would think a "professional shop" would right?! Well my friend was told to come pick up his car they fixed the "check engine" light. He was charged $360 and was told it was the spark plugs. He drove and the check engine light comes on again! Which was very frustrating cause he just paid almost $400 for some spark plugs!! He checked underneath his car and seen there was a leak..so he took it to an exhaust place and all it needed was just to be re-welded and it only cost him $20! Can you believe that! So please think twice before going to Robles Auto on Wilson Way those people are about profit and not safety! read more

I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who wants the job done with quality down to the minor details. I honestly did not know what to expect going into this. I just knew I needed a shop to do a engine shop. Through the process Gabe (the owner) gave his recommendations on parts that he thought would be wise to start off with new as these are all of the parts that tend to go out eventually and cause problems anyways. When. I showed up to pick it up they popped the hood and I promise that it looks like the engine bay of a new car. Far beyond my expectations. His prices are incredibly fair and especially if you take into consideration what the end result is going to be. read more

UPDATE - The squeal I kept hearing has been fixed. They cleaned oil and debris from the pulley and that fixed the noise. NOTE : Although the issue has been fixed they should have really looked into my concern the first time I had asked them to. Helped get my gf back on the road in less than a day and never once tried to overcharge or "suggest" another service that wasn't needed.

Brought my car for oil leak and they replaced unnecessary parts and told that they fixed the leak but once I park it on my driveway the car is still leaking. Called them and told me to bring my car back to the shop they kept it for 6 days and when I get my car they told me that there's no available lift to check the car, of course it's a return lousy job that's why they are not interested fixing it read more

I live in Santa Cruz county and spoke to Gabriel, to make an arrangents for my grand-daughters car repair. I explained what was needed, and got a fair quote. Our daughter dropped off the car in the next morning when they opened and all went well. The alternator was replaced, they also replaced the battery clamps and fixed two burnt out tail lights that were needed. The car was ready and I went to pay the bill and pick up the car, yes, I went to visit the grand-daughters too, lol. With the bill paid, I talked with Gabriel and told him how pleased I was with the pricing, service and professionalism. Now remember I was over 100 miles from Stockton when I first talked to Gabriel. My grand-daughter and daughter will be using Robles in the future. read more
