Recently, someone decided to break my car's rear door glass window. Luckily, nothing valuable was taken out of the vehicle. I called Cost Less Auto Glass and asked for a quote to replace the window. Jim was extremely helpful. He was able to get me in the same day I called and told me that the total would be $165 out the door with cash. This has been my go to window repair spot since about 2010/2011 & for a reason. They are quick, prices are great and they value their customers. Just my luck, cracked my windshield on my suv AND my sedan. Good thing I knew a guy....Jim took care of us, got my suv all taken care of. Dropped it off at 1 picked it up around 4. Amazing glass repair shop! Smaller business means less $$ but the service, quality of work, speed of installation etc was perfect! I have a 10 year old Kia that had a leak. I called and talked to the owner....he said it might be a cheap fix so he scheduled me to stop by the next morning to test out the leak. Next morning I show up and he remembered me from my call, tested out the leak and it was a bad one....old windshield was not attached across the entire top half. He quoted me a VERY reasonable cost of parts and labor to replace the windshield, ordered it and I came back 24 hours later to get it installed. The install job only took an hour, I even waited across the street getting Starbucks! The glass replacement was the same as the original, installed very well and they guaranteed it from leaks, etc. Considering I spent 4x the amount and waited 3 hours at Safelite recently for a newer car's windshield replacement, I now know I will be going to Cost Less Auto Glass from now on! cheaper than most places. But quality of work shows in the price. My son had his driver side window replaced and the tech could not get the window to stay in the track when rolled up. The tech stated it was because the track was faulty and he did all he could. My son took his car to A-1 auto glass and their tech fixed the window. His statement was the window was installed incorrectly. The window now rolls up and down perfectly. So my opinion is you get what you pay for. That's why it's called Cost-Less auto glass. I had a very bad long crack in my windshield and couple of spider marks from freeway construction. I contacted Jim by phone midweek and provided my vehicle information and VIN number. From there he was able to look up my exact make and model to match my replacement windshield. He made me an appointment for first thing Saturday morning at 9am because he had to order my windshield from a vendor down in Fresno and have it delivered up to Stockton by the weekend. I was there at 9am and dropped my car off and he called me about an hour and half later and was done (they close at noon on Saturdays). Very good installation. Jim was very friendly, professional and responsive! I was charged a very REASONABLE PRICE for the labor replacement, installation and glass. I highly recommend this company! read more

If I could I would gave this place a zero star. First I called to ask for a windshield quote the gentlemen on the phone gave me a price and was told that it will take them around 2.5hrs for the car to be done that was totally BS. It took them 3.5hrs. but that's not the end of it. They told me I have to come back in a couple days cuz the glue wouldn't settle in for them to put back my rear mirror back on. Which my dumb ass took their word for it & drove off without it. When was left this place I didn't inspect their work. I figured they would know what they were doing since their customer reviewers was outstanding but I was so dead wrong. I drove one block down the street that's when I realize there was a tear in my interior around the rim where they had replace my windshield. When I did more inspection I found a total of four areas that was damage. I called the business to complain how much damage they had done to my car. All they can tell me is that they will give me a $100 discount off my service for the damage. Wtf, are they serious! I told them they better fix it or I'll file a police complaint. I had to call my body shop to not only fix the replace glass windshield and all the interior tear damage around the rim of my windshield. Total cost $1800 (Audi Q5) which at the end the business owner had to fork out the money to get that fix for me. If they have not. I was ready to take them to court. I learn my lesson. Not only I wasted 3.5hrs there but another week at the body shop. You paid for what you get. Don't let this business fool you. Cheap price and for cheap service. Inexperience all in general. Definitely will NOT recommend this place. read more

Unfortunately there was a theft of an item in the car, too.
