Had my windows tinted maybe 3-4 years ago now. The tints still look great but I wish when doing my rear windshield they would have advised going all the way up and covering it fully instead of asking what I prefer (because now it looks like an incomplete job lol), and the swooshes of whatever product they used to clean my windows was apparent so I did have to go over them and clean them afterward, but otherwise I enjoy my tints and all these years later still recommend ceramic tints. $320 for a few hours I believe same week request, tints haven't turned purple and the integrity of my interior has faired well. Communication was timely in a professional manner, when I went in, they treated me with respect and told me what would happen how long it would take. Had a appointment today at 11 am I showed up at around 10:20am which was a little early but Ernie came at the same time. Good person originally till the end of this. got quoted for the front windshield at 70 % clear blue and 50% on driver and passenger front only which was at $100 per window and I initially thought that it was pretty high but i figured it was because it was going to be there top ceramic tint which it definitely wasn't it was the lowest grade they carry. Me expressing that I'd be driving a lot with this truck using it for my day to day work he could have educated me on different grades of ceramic tint but that didn't happen. I also thought that having three people work on my vehicle at once to do the tint should have been pretty quick but it took long than I anticipated so I had to catch a lyft home to get the kid and wife from work because the crew needed to take lunch at 12:30pm and everyone got there at 10:30-11 am and at 1:20pm I asked how much longer before i made my decision to leave because Ernie said it would probably take an hour longer. It was probably just my luck. Then Ernie calls and lets me know that my truck is done and I come and get it. I thought it was a bit sketch when i seen that the receipt was so basic it just said 70% tint and 50% tint and 400 bucks. So I checked with my thermocouple at home to see if the tint was good and man i felt that suns heat beam right through. I instantly texted Ernie and he told me that i was mistaken and he stands correct that he did ensured me twice that it was 56 percent and i was giving him the benefit of the doubt that he said that but i was sure he said 50% referring to the shade of tint. I looked up and 56% IR and it was his lowest ceramic tint they had and he said that if he would have put on the S9 ceramic it would have been double the price. WOW then he goes and tells me since it was a misunderstanding he'll do it for $20 per window for the S9 tint. This experience is very unprofessional and I'm not a tinter by profession so I would have appreciated if Ernie could have told me that this was the lowest grade they carry in this ceramic tint line and not waste each others time with this. I hope he does right by his next customers and not nickel and dime us by confusing us. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone just because of this. An I would rather pay someone else that is more transparent to their customers than tricking us and acting as if we do this for a living but wait please come back he says and pay another $40 bucks to get the right ones you wanted. Man you can't trust anyone these days to do right by you or is it just A-1 Tint! Please write your reviews and bust this business out if they've did similar deeds!!! If Ernie would have said that his highest tint would have been $150 or $200 a window trust me I wouldnt even be writing this review but this was pretty shady if you ask me. read more

I brought my car into this place because of all of the good reviews on here.. I called and made an appointment a week in advance to get all five windows tinted, when I got there they asked me which tint I wanted, I told him 5% and then he told me that they might not have enough but they will call to let us know. 2 hours later I get a phone call that the car is ready to get picked up. Picked up the car noticed a several bubbles on each window, and also what seemed to look like hair stuck in the tint. He told me they couldn't RE do it since this was the last of the 5% tint left and if it didn't go away to bring it back. Three days laterI finally rolled down my windows and all the top edges of the windows looked like zig zag lines. I called and talked to ERNIE, I let him know I was very unhappy with the job and wanted to take it back in but have someone else do it. One week later I dropped the car off at 1100A, I showed it to one of the guys that was there because Ernie was not there. He told me not to worry and that it would get done. The car was not done until 900P. It was night so it was very hard to check out the work they did, the next morning I looked at my car and it looked like the same crappy job they did the first time and to top it off they did not put the paneling back correctly. At this point I do not even want them touching my car AT ALL. read more

My car needed to get the rear window re tinted because there were bubbles underneath the tinting film which made it very hard to see through. I called around to a couple places and all other places were either too much money or couldn't give me an estimate over the phone. I don't have a normal schedule and I like to know the details before I take my car in for service of any kind. Ernie was able to do that for me. He gave me a real quick break down of the details and I immediately scheduled an appointment. For the rear window and rear side windows tinting removal and re tinting, I paid about $230. A couple places want to charge $200 for just the rear window. The place is a little out of the way. It is tucked behind a car wash and an oil change station. But over all, they were quick, friendly, and fairly priced. I will come back with my wife's car to give them some more business. read more

Got my dad's 2013 Toyota Camry tinted - the guy who helped us was nice fella. He explained the different tint and showed us some cars with the different tints. We dropped off the car around 10:30am and it was completed around 3:00pm. It was reasonable priced...no bubbles or anything and it's been about two weeks since it was completed. My brother took his 2011 Subaru WRX STI to get his tinted - limo tint. They again did a great job. Noticed my window doesn't close like it use to. Seems like it is off track. Would check before getting work done here.

Called at 11am and was able to get in at 2pm same day. I have a Chevy traverse and this is the cheapest I've found with excellent reviews. When my car was done Ernie came over to let me know about the windows while I loaded my kids. He noticed a huge hair between the tint and the glass and immediately fixed it. I've been dealing with A-1 tint for years since they were off West Lane with the original owner. I love the lifetime guarantee on the tint if it ever starts to peel, un-do itself on the edges etc. Im just glad i've been fortunate enough to not ever need to take them up on that offer. (I think you have to hold onto the receipt though or hope that someone remembers you or your vehicle). I've owned two 1994 Cobra's, and a 2002 Mustang GT back in the late 90's/early 2000's and A-1 tinted those vehicles for me also. Recently, Ernie and Ben tinted all 5 rear windows in our 750Li in September 2012 and it was flawless. I took our 2001 IS300 the weekend after and had the old factory tint on the rear window that was turning purple finally removed, and re-done. Excellent job once again. My cousin saw the work done on the 750Li and thought the quality of the tint and the work to it was "A1" and took his CLS500 in a few weekends after to get ALL of his windows tinted. Still looking to find the time to retint my rear quarter window that i damaged trying to stuff a TV box from Best Buy in my 2001 325i (A1 tinted all of my windows in this vehicle also), but at least i know where to go without asking around or looking for reviews. So I got my windows tinted last sunday. I made an appointment prior to coming. They met me at their shop at that time. They were very professional and we're very knowledgeable. I dropped my car off at 3pm and got a call just before 5pm to pick up my car. I had them remove my old tint on my 3 back windows and replaced them with darker tint and tinted my driver and passenger Window also. I must say they did a very good job.
