Made appt on Friday 1/22 for 12 noon on 1/25. Was promised an estimate on 1/22. I had to send a reminder on 1/24 for my estimate. Received over priced estimate on 1/25 along with 3 text reminders for a 12 noon appt. 11 am, 1/25 I got a phone call asking if I got my estimate and confirming appt for 12 noon. At 12 noon, 1/25 I got a call with excuses why they would be one to 2 hours late. I agreed to new appt at 1ish. 1205 on 1/25 I get a long text msg stating how busy they are and how hard it is to keep appts and how short handed they are and it went on to suggest I find another company. RP T showed a lack of customer service, displayed the "I don't need the customer, the customer needs me attitude" and an overall lack of experience with customers. I went against my better judgement and gave them a try. They were able to get me in the same day...that should have been a clue. When I picked up my car I was told some bubbles would be expected for a couple of days. 2 days later I had large bubbles on my windshield and many bubbles over the rest of my windows. I've had many windows tinted by Ron's Window Tinting in the past and have never experienced this. When I called Julio the owner, he was arrogant and very argumentative. He told me bubbles on tinting is a "norm" and that I had "unrealistic expectations." Since when are bubbles on tinting acceptable? So then we take the car back and he is unapologetic but says," this is not supposed to happen" and to bring the car back on Wednesday so they can fix it. I was very clear and upfront telling him that I require no bubbles on my windows and if he can't do that to please not mess with my car. He assured me it would look really good and that he would speak to the tint representative for feedback. When I took my car back for the repair he said that " high-end cars are difficult" and the tint representative had told him he had used the wrong solution on my car. When I left my car I told him to take as many days needed to be able to do a good job. I left it on a Wednesday and picked it up Saturday morning. They re-did the whole car. When we came to pick it up the windshield and back window still had bubbles and the Corvette symbols on the back window were only partially visible. The back window also had scratches in the tint. The employee told me that it was impossible to get the window any better and that they did a "vertical install" so the Corvette symbols would not all be visible. When I asked to speak to Julio, the owner, he told me he wasn't available. I immediately went to Ron's Window Tinting for advice and correction. Ron confidently told me he could repair my windows and also noticed Julio forgot to tint one of my windows. When I brought this to Julio's attention he told me that they had forgotten to tint the window and once again that I had unrealistic expectations. I asked for a partial refund for the forgotten window and a redo of the back window and he said he doesn't give refunds. Ron's Window Tinting left my car flawless! I urge you not to use this company and if you do you better prepare yourself for a big disappointment. If you have used them in the past go out and take a good look at your windows you most likely will have bubbles. If you want to deal with mediocre tinting and a bad attitude use RPTINTING. The door scraped my car, but only through the Clear Bra! Paint is still completely in tact. I can't even imagine how bad the damage would have been if it hadn't been on there!! Found my wrap guy! Had a key scratch from front to back on Matte Black. A friend mentioned RP and I can see why! The car came wrapped from the dealership, but you can tell immediately that Julio uses better material, and knows what he's doing. I'm really impressed that he knows his limitations and has a certified auto body technician available for disassembly. That's a big deal! He found some mistakes made by the previous installer that I would've never known. The difference is night and day. I'll be back to eventually re-wrap the rest of it for sure. The tint work was awesome too...got the front windows done and they're exactly what I wanted, and the heat shield windshield tint is a perfect touch. A1 service! What a great place! The customer service is fantastic. My man first brought our truck in on 9/6/17 to get tint done after finding him on Facebook and the truck came out fantastic. So when we bought a new car it was a NO BRAINER to bring that car here as well. We set an appointment for 9/9/17 and they got us right in. It took about 1.5 hrs to complete which isn't bad at all. I'm really excited to go to their tinting shop because i've been following their instagram since they created that account. So drove all the way down there and When i got there Julio told me that it will take 3-4 hours till my car ready because they are so busy. One of the worst tint jobs I have ever gotten film cut was wavy and can see light coming through on some corners even had them come back out and try to fix two windows same outcome stated that it won't be perfect cut? I went here in 2018. I had work done on two vehicles which included paint protection film, ceramic window tint and clear ceramic film on the inside of the windshield. The owner, Julio is friendly, professional and his shop was clean. I think they performed well with the window tint but really fell short on the paint protection film which had several areas with bubbles, misaligned cuts and stretch marks. After the the application of the paint protection film, the exterior paint had a thick layer of soap on it from the install process which was left for me to remove. It was hot outside and the soap dried onto the paint which made it very difficult. My vehicle at the time was brand new. The installers also left items inside my vehicle such as a spray bottle and rag. The work was rushed. The lack of care and workmanship was disappointing. They had plenty of time, I left my vehicle over night. I contacted the manufacture who told me the quality of the install did not seem to their standard. I contacted the owner/ installer who offered to fix the issues as part of the warranty which is great but my concern was that during the initial install, I left my vehicle over night to allow plenty of time for the work to be performed properly and it wasn't. It was too risky to have them touch again. I will not use this shop or products again read more
