Got a quote over the phone from Chuck. He was super professional, knowledgeable, & just had good vibes. I drove an hour just to have my car tinted here because of the customer service I had received from getting my quote. The price was a steal compared to other places in the city that I live in! Got the ceramic tint, no more hot seats when I get in the car on a summer day! Dropped my car off at 1pm and it was ready by 4pm. Tint includes lifetime warranty with labor (just keep the receipt). Tony and the guys in the shop educated me on the process and the installer was very kind enough not to put his feet on my seats when tinting the back window (thanks) lol. read more

Chuck runs his business with dignity and he cares a lot about his customers. I highly recommend Pro Tint as a family owned business. Churck and his staff are professionals, rest assured your tints are handled with care. Car was done fast and they also gave you tips. They are the lowest priced tint in Stockton. read more

Highly recommend this place. This is my second vehicle getting tinted with this business They are honest about the materials they use and answered any questions I had. I went to a prior business that tinted my windows that did a horrible job ( a friend of a friend recommended them) I knew I should of just went to pro tint and pro tint let me know the business left glue and scratches on my window. A big difference in how my windows look now from when it was tinted at the prior business that did a horrible job. I love the way my windows look now. Very professional, very friendly and clean!! Amazing job for the price also!! read more

I was researching different tint companies who could tint my car. I called Pro Tint and chuck was super helpful and had a cancellation that same day so I was able to take it in! The process was super easy start to finish. I chose the ceramic tint and it was the best decision I made! It really helps with the heat in my car. They did it in about 3 hours! I had my Accord tinted at Pro Tint a few years back. This place was pricier than other places but I chose Pro Tint because it had a lifetime warranty and I felt as long as this place stays in business, I should be good. The tint held up looking good up until 3 months ago and it started bubbling. Today I brought my car in and told them I got my tint done there and they said I needed my receipt. I told them to look into their computer system and they said it deletes all old transactions after 2 years. That did not sound right to me. It sounded like they did not want to honor their warranty. So I asked them how much would they charge for them to remove and replace the back tint and the worker there told me a little over $300. That's just ridiculous. It was my fault for not having my receipt but for their computer system to lose all their transactions after 2 years does not sound right. I call bullshit. I guess as long as you keep your receipt you should be okay if they don't come up with other excuses. I just don't trust a company that does not back up their work. read more

This is the third car I have had done by Pro Tint. They are always reliable and do an amazing job. They have the best prices in town. I had them install ceramic tint on my Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry. I got 15% Rear and 35% Front. Highly recommend this place, check them out for your window tinting needs. They were able to squeeze me in prior to a road-trip I had planned out. Thanks for the great service. Will definitely come back. They also offer many other services. read more

Please don't go here for your tint work. My son wanted darker tint on the 2 front windows. They put lighter tint then what he originally had, we wasted time and money. They should have turned him away if they couldn't provide him with what we requested regardless of there was a miscommunication, he should have been told to leave the tint he had on his car read more

This is the ONLY place that I would get my windows tinted. A locally owned 5-star business. I just recently had my second car tinted here. They know their product and will suggest the best for you considering your needs and budget. They do a top-notch job. IF you happen to have a problem after the sale they will be there to take care of you. Unlike other shops the set up in tents or are here-today-gone-tomorrow, these guys WILL be here tomorrow. They do the tinting in a "clean room"....no drilling, no sanding, no sawing going on in this room. Minimal dust so your job turns out perfect. Can you even imagine tinting windows outdoors in a tent??? I give these guys a 100% recommendation. Give 'em a try. You won't be sorry.... They are located in the same building as Warehouse Car Stereo, just east of the underpass. read more

I really tried to make this a 5 star review.... I've had to go back quite a few times for bubbles in the windshield film. I understand shit happen.... But it's been noting short of inconvenient and costly. They replaced the windshield film because there was some adhesive or something that was creating some small bubbles. They stood behind their work and replaced it. Now two problems. There are even more bubbles in another place. Worst problem is they lost the temporary dealer registration that was on my windshield... Now I'm driving 3-4 hours round trip to Marin to get a replacement, praying I don't get stopped by the police. So I'm out several hours if not a day in total of my life, a decent chunk of money wasted, and need to find another place to remove this film and apply new film. Only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 star for the side/back window being really good. I'm sure I'm just the fluke.... But it's just been a terrible experience. read more

Back again for another tint job. This time it was for our 2012 Prius. They did ALL the windows at a 15% tint minus the front windshield. Going to Pro Tint is like reaching into my tool box and finding my good old trusty tools. These guys are always reliable and trustworthy. They will not steer you wrong and look out for your best interest. When taking a look at the car for the initial inspection, they tried to save me money by exercising other options (metallic tint versus the carbon based). Unfortunately for me, the Prius has the antenna integrated into the rear window so I had to stick with the carbon. When getting back to the store, they reminded me about the 10% online discount for materials. The job was done in a swift and professional manner. Also, don't forget that their high end tint is guaranteed not to fade, peel, or bubble. This covers both the material AND the labor. Don't be fooled by others out there. Most other companies only cover material warranties. The majority of the cost is the labor. I'm sure ill be reaching out to Pro Tint again for their services. Can't just give up with that 'trusty tool'. read more

Just had all our windows in our Tesla done today. Came back looking pretty nice. They had great customer service, he was also pretty knowledgeable. This is our 3rd car that we have had tinted there. Took my car in for a full tint (clear windshield, 35% sides and rear) and they did an awesome job! Dropped it off around 11AM on my appointment day and it was ready by 4PM. I had my new 2018 Accord tinted Pro Tint. Looks great. One thing that makes this place better for window tinting is that they use a computer to cut out the tint to the exact fit to the windows. Don't need to trace cutout on the window itself. You won't get cut marks on your glass. I hadn't post an earlier event when i had a bubble problem on another vehicle which tinted in 2004. Long story short, they replaced it under warranty at no cost to me. read more

This was my fourth car I brought here. The first three cars I had them tinted were great but this last one was not good. I brought it back cuz there seemed to be a huge cut on the film and they told me it was a manufacture defect on my glass window. They said to bring it back to the dealership since it's a brand new car that the dealer should replace it. The dealer won't do anything and says to bring it back to the tint shop and have them do the right thing because they tinted it. Either way I'm screwed. read more

Went to ProTint because of the great reviews here on Yelp. I purchased a used SUV and needed the front windows tinted and I also called around for some quotes from different places and found that these guys were competitively priced. Got a recommendation to go here from word of mouth to a friend. It was everything it claimed to be. Superior service and great quality work. Checked surrounding places on yelp first and stuck with my gut on this one. I had my CR-V tinted and alarm put in and am very pleased with the work. The alarm work was quick and complete, and the tint takes a little longer due to the quality of the work. Chuck and Tony walked me through the stages of tint and kind of tints, so even a novice like me could understand. The tint was put on and before I even got it back it was double checked for quality. Staff was up front with me that it was taking an extra little bit (of time) because the first application on the back window was creased and rather than try to pass the crease off to me to save time and money, their staff took the initiative to peel it off and use a new piece of film rather than give me a creased product. That's true professionalism. Also they stand behind their work. If it ever purples or bubbles, they'll replace both parts and labor for the life of the film, which is why they're not $99. You get what you pay for. You want $99 purple bubble tint, this is not the place for you. Here you get good quality product, and excellent communication, knowledge and competence in the staff. Only tint place in Stockton with a dedicated clean room, so no dust is on your tint in between film and glass. Room is completely sealed. Also, the film is all machine cut to size and then hand cut on a glass board before going on the car. No blades touch the car. No etching on the glass. Call for appointment, they're super booked (like 7 days out). We'll be bringing all our cars here for electronics / tint after market. (They also do dealer/group tints/installs.) February 2017 update: tint is still in perfect shape. No bubbling, no peeling. Perfect! read more

I shopped around and researched like crazy before going with Pro Tint. I have a brand new car, so I was really nervous. Chuck is super nice and helpful - he answered the millions of questions I had and more. I decided to go with them because of all the great reviews and I also called all the auto dealerships on West Lane and found out that they take their cars to Pro Tint. They did an awesome job on my car! I went with the carbon-based tint, which is a little more expensive than dye-based, but will not fade and has a lifetime warranty. The only thing I have to say that is negative is they didn't tell me that the inside of my truck would get wet during the process, luckily I didn't have anything in there! When I pointed it out, they were quick to dry it for me (I have a rubber trunk tray, so the water was just held in there). Great work and excellent customer service! A PROMISE IS STILL HONORED AT THIS STORE! Chuck, the owner of PRO TINT, kept his promise! The tint that PRO TINT installed 14 years ago on my 1993 Ford Festiva failed. Even though they discontinued that particular product years ago, Chuck honored the original LIFETIME warranty and installed the newer, better tint on my old car for free! These guys are amazing when it comes to tinting automotive glass or installing stereo equipment. I have taken 5 or 6 vehicles to them for tinting over the last ten years. Every time, the work is consistent and on-point. They use a computer and electronic die cutter which perfectly cut-out the pieces of film needed for your vehicle. They stand behind their work and have been in the business for many decades. Very friendly & polite, clean waiting room, highly accessible off the 99 highway and fair pricing. I recommend this place to anyone who wants quality work! My review is for their tint service. Around May, I called and asked about their tints and the gentleman on the phone was extremely kind and patient in answering all of my questions. He did not pressure me at all rather, he educated me on what quality tints to look and ask for. I really appreciated the customer service. I took my TLX here to get it tinted...all but the front. It won't be $99, but you are paying for quality work. I went with the ceramic tint and it comes with lifetime warranty (MUST have original receipt). They did an amazing job! I waited 1hr 45mins. I noticed a two bubbles on the side of one window about two weeks after and they were super quick and helpful in fixing it! I went in May to get my car tinted and it still looks awesome! After reading so many great reviews on Yelp, I knew I could bring my car to this shop and it would be in good hands. I set up an appointment to have my car tinted for the following week since they were all booked for the next few days. I had a day off so I decided to call the following day and see if they had any openings. Luckily, someone cancelled so they were able to fit my car in right away! The estimate was about 3 hours but it was done in about 1 1/2 hours. When I got home, I found a rather large particle stuck between the film and my front window. I took it back and they fixed it right away in about 30 mins. I was told there would be streaking, condensation, and bubbling during the drying process (about 2 days) but it would all go away. I never got the streaking or condensation, but there was a big bubble and some dust particles on the window they had just fixed, so after the weekend, I brought it back again. Every other window in that car turned out perfectly fine.. just that one in the front was being troublesome. The tech pushed the bubble down, but there was still kind of an outline of where the bubble had been. It was beneath the molding of the window but was still visible from the inside. The owner, Chuck, felt that I was unhappy with the result and offered to have the window be redone again. This time, he made sure it was perfect before handing the car back to me, and it was! Thank you, Pro Tint for your time, energy and patience! Although there were a couple hitches along the way, I *cannot* stress enough how great these guys are at customer service and customer satisfaction. Definitely would come here again and recommend them to everyone (: read more

They did a great job on my tint. Didn't have an appointment but they were able to squeeze me in a few hours later. When I returned, it took them approximately 1 1/2 hrs to do but I waited 2 1/2 hrs due to a bad window tint on a car they were working on before mine.
