I can't say enough about this place. They are amazing. I came in while passing through on a trip and needed help getting my car fixed. They went above and beyond anything I've ever received or could have imagined with a commitment and willingness to help and got my car road worthy while I waited. They earned my trust and respect for life! If anyone needs auto body work I know you are in great hands with Crivello. It is rare to find such amazing humans in business these days and Dan and his team are truly good people. I am so grateful for your help and hope your business flourishes! You deserve it! Thank you! 5 plus stars all the way! read more

They did a great job with my car, it's like brand new all over again like when I first bought it 5 years ago!

Took my Subaru Forester there needing body work for front fender. They did excellent work and even got a rental car to cover car needs.

Big thank you to Crivello Auto Body in Stockton! Dan and his entire team go above and beyond to help their customer and make sure everything is taken care of from point A to Z. I highly recommend Crivello to anyone in need of auto body repairs! Thanks Guys! read more

Dan went Above and Beyond to fix an issue (that my insurance had a big fault in ). He stepped up when my insurance didn't and also communicated with me along the way to update me on the status of my car while it was in his shop. The work done on my car also looks amazing. I want to thank Dan and his team for everything they did and their amazing customer service! read more

I can't recommend Crivello Auto Body enough. I wish I could give them 10 stars. My husband passed away 6 months ago so car repair is now my job. Dan was extremely knowledgeable and quick to take care of my needs even without an appointment. Most of all, for me, I so very much appreciated his kindness and honesty. Lola also made this task, I was dreading, easy and with thorough documentation. I will always take my cars to Crivello Auto Body and will recommend them to family and friends. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! They make you feel like you are their only customer, which is far from the truth! Lola is amazing...she kept me updated and worked closely with my insurance and took all the stress off of me. The body work they did is flawless, my car looks better than it did before I was hit! I highly recommend their services and would never go anywhere else. read more

Can't say enough about these guys. From the front office to the back shop. Everyone and everything was great. They really went above and beyond any expectations I may have had. I was kept informed on all processes and had nothing to worry about with the insurances. Their quality of work to my car was awesome, but even more, the customer service and personalities of every employee were really appreciated. Lola the shop mgr made the inconvenience of not having my car a lot easier knowing it was being well taken care of. Thanks Crivellos. read more

Got my truck repaired here and was told they would have professional remove automotive wrap and then repair truck. They removed wrap themselves and when pointed out the damage on the hood they said they didn't do the scratches and just touched up paint with white paint. Janky work. The repair on the actual damage was great but not satisfactory over all read more

8 weeks of work Before and after. To my mind this should have been a total loss. GEICO had other ideas though. Jesse Fischer who was my service advisor was excellent. This took so much longer to get to the finished product, but after it was all sad and done my truck is as close to restored as could be following a pretty nasty collision! read more

I've been using Crivello's Body & Paint for the last 28 years. I first met Joe Crivello in 1984 when he managed Chase Chevrolet's body shop in downtown Stockton. At the time I had a new pickup that received damage to the front fender and needed to be repaired. When I got it back it looked as if it had just arrived from the factory. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. When Joe opened up his own shop a couple of years later I continued to go to him for my auto body needs. Over the years I've been in need of his services several times and the vehicles have always been returned looking like they were new. They've always looked better than they did before they were damaged. Joe Crivello is very meticulous about the quality of the work that comes out of his shop and it shows in the finished product. I highly recommend Crivello's Body & Paint! read more

Only place I take my vehicles and couldn't be happier with their friendliness and workmanship they know what their doing and they do it. They go out of their way to take care of the customer. My Redfire Metallic is hard to match and years later no one can tell the difference or where it was painted. Always a perfect job, or they make it right. read more

True professionals in every way!! Can't say enough about the quality of their work. The repairs they did on my Toyota FJ were extensive and involved body moldings, window moldings, fender panels, grille work, paint and paint matching. Work that separates the average body shop from the perfectionists. The job they did was perfection. Plus they're great to work with. Dan walked me through the insurance paperwork and did what he said they would do on time and kept me informed along the way. A well run, customer focused business and I highly recommend them!! Thanks, Evert Maki read more

As usual amazing customer service. Pricing is fair and job well done. Friends suggest to try other well-known body shops, but why change when you're happy with the one you're with? Very satisfied with the fix on my Z28. Dan the new head honcho at Crivello is equipped with decades of experience. He is easy to talk to and to the point. They definitely earned my trust. Highly recommended!!! read more

Once Again, FANTASTIC!!! Collected a Truck Tire tread, took out the bumper, hood and minor damage to right fender. Picked up the car today, looks like it rolled off the showroom floor! read more

I came in last week because my 2012 Lexus IS250 had some minor scratches towards the rear because I had carelessly back out of my garage and scratch it. I took over to Crevello for a price check, but instead of just telling me how much it would cost and sending me on my way, one of the guys in there, came looked at my car and told me that if I should just polish it and add some touch up paint instead of spending the $700+ dollars to repaint it. The next thing I know is one of the workers in the back came, took my car, polish and added touch up paint and you can barely tell it got scratched. What's most amazing is when I went in to try to pay for the service, he told me not to worry about it, so I decided to write them this yelp comment. The people who work here are amazing, with a big heart. It is not the fact that they took care me of without getting paid, but more importantly, given that they know they were not going to get paid, but yet still provided 5 star service. If I ever need any sort of body/paint job for my car, I know where to go. Thank you Crevello again for making my day last week. read more

My car was hit in the front hood and all was smashed even the radiator. I didn't think my 2012 hybrid would look or drive the same again. I had a regular hood flat across nothing fancy. But when I went to pick up my car, I was in tears my car looked beautiful new upgrade hood and the color matched and to top that off it is life time warranty on the new parts and paint job so that makes me feel safe that they did great and more. Thank you all and the staff. read more

I brought my 2011 Toyota Camry to Crivello auto body after a miner accident and they made the car look like it did the day I bought it. Joe and Jimmy are the best. I also brought my 2016 Tacoma to Crivello and I was sick that I crashed it with only 10,000 miles on it. Just like the Camry, the Tacoma looked and drove as good as new. Thanks a lot you guys. There's no reason to go anywhere else. My body shop for life. Thanks again! Dwayne read more

I took my car to Crivello's Body Shop after it had been badly repaired at another shop in Sacramento. If only I had found Crivello's initially, it would have saved me a lot of heartache. My frustration has been replaced with extreme satisfaction. My car now looks brand new! I am very impressed with the staff at Crivello's and their workmanship. Should I, or anyone I know, ever need repairs to their vehicle, I will not hesitate to recommend Crivello's. Anyone searching for a body shop to repair their vehicle should definitely give them a try. You won't be sorry you did!!!!! read more

Worst experience ever. My first impression was great so I went back big mistake! Didn't tighten lugs so driving home my wheel came off. It looked like they were taking responsibility so I decided to have whole car painted. It was too much for me even with insurance paying part. They said if I could find a quarter panel (it's an older car) it would save $1000 that the front end would cost new plus 18 hours of labor. After searching and driving 250 miles for the part I was VERY excited. Imagine my surprise when the new price was $1500 more than the last. At this point I couldn't even do just the insurance work and have a car because they started on the extra work!! I had to have my car towed home and was out a vehicle. They didn't seem to car at all. They did other things wrong as well but this was bad enough! Even the tow truck driver was shocked and said it looked tons better when he brought it with the wheel off!! I sure hope no one does to them what they did to me!! Get EVERYTHING in writing and DO NOT TRUST their word! If they say they can't get an exact total until they start...... or for whatever reason....RUN RUN RUN but better yet do NOT go to them!! read more

Crivello's has fixed 5 of my cars over the past 10 years, from accident and body repair to painting needs. One of the few body shops left around Stockton that does an above exceptional job. They are up front and honest every time I've dealt with them. They are currently painting my son's car that was vandalized, and when I call each time to check up on progress they are very friendly honest. I would definitely recommend them to any family, friends or strangers. Jimmy is the guy in the front office who's always helped me and he is awesome!! read more

Can any body shop get any worse than this place??? After being T-boned by a drunk driver, my insurance company referred me to this as their preferred provider shop here on Stockton. Told them I had both mechanical and body damages, and wanted mechanical damages fixed first, for if push came to shove, I could drive a beat-up car, but couldn't drive a mechanically undrivable car, so I was going to take it to mechanic first, then take it there to Crivellos for body work. But the guy claiming to be their manager claimed they also had a mechanical garage that could do 99% of all mechanical repairs, and anything that couldn't do, they'd sub out on a supplemental invoice. Told them if they did have to sib-out any work, I required that they NOT dtive my car, and instead tow it on a flatbed truck, and bill the towing to the repair bill, and if he had any problem with that, to let me know now,and I'd find a different body shop. He swore they'd only tow it, if they needed to sub anything out. And they promised to do ALL mechanical work first.. So he know right then, so I could find a different body shop. They promised to do all I requested. So they talked me nto bringing my car there to start with. However, they did the body work first, then did the mechanical work. The transmission coolant lines were severed in the accident,, so virtually all the transmisn fluid was trown up on top of the engine block, so virtually all transmission fluid had drained out of the transmission. Crivellos advised me of it, but said they used some coolant lines they had on hand at the shop, and said it wasn't worth the hastle to do a supplemental bill just for that to my insurance company. I insisted tat they document & bill for everything they did. So they promised to document and bill everything. So they replaced the transmission coolant lines. Then they subbed-out work on my car to two other ships across town. But they drove my car to those shops, instead of towing it, as promised and agreed. And that wouldn't have been so bad, except that after they replaced the the transmission coolant lines, they acted in gross negligence by failing to put any transmission fluid back into the transmission! And the guy who admitted to driving my car was deaf in one ear and couldn't hear anything out the other ear! Even with hearing aids he couldn't hear. So they drove my car around the city for about 35 miles with little or no transmission fluid, thus burning up my transmission!!! Then the guy who claimed to be their manager, Jim, tried to lie to everyone, and claimed that my car was like that before the accident!!! They also did super-crappy body work. For example, they had to replace the front bumper cover, but while doing so, they put a dent/gouge in the new bumper cover, any of the clips to hold the bumper cover in place were never attached, ... and some rubber strips are hanging way down to where they almost drag the ground!!! They refused to correct anything about that too. To make matters worse, their self-described manager, Jim, began making indescribably unspeakable defamatory character assassination statents to everyone he could, including bit probably not limited to, the shops they subbed-put work in my car to, my insurance company, rental car company, etc. Because of their negligence in destroying my transmission, plus lying about it and claiming it was like that before the accidence, I had trouble getting my insurance co. to repair my transmission. I was forced by ins. co. to sign over check to Crevellos and paty them before they did body work correctly, so Crivellos would release my car, so I could take it to a shop that does transmission work. Had a $100 expense to take car to a garage to inspect transmission, to say if it was accident or body shop related; ins.co. promised to pay that bill, and fix if it said it was related. That shop said it was related, but because of lies from Crivellos, ins. refused to honor their recofmmendation, even refused to pay that bill; instead they demanded I pay for a transmission tear-down (which usually costs close to $1,000)!!! Meanwhile, I'm also having to pay for my own rentale read more

By far one of the my worst experiences with a body shop. Aside from the lack of professionalism and communication, it took two months to get my vehicle repaired. Only to get it back with dents that were not repaired, scratches that look like they were touched up with a marker or pen, and a horrible alignment job. I never once got a phone call from them with an update and it was very difficult to get Jimmy on the phone when I would call. read more

These guys are the best. Great quality work and customer service. Have used these guys multiple times.

We have been customers for at least ten years...unfortunately we have been there more often than we would like due to our poor car being accident prone...(not our fault--lol)...every time we visit Crivello, we are always pleased with the timing of repair and the quality of work. They are a genuinely nice bunch of folks who do great work. Would recommend them to all. read more

Thank you! Crivello Auto Body. The bottom molding came off of my 1997 Cadillac Eldorado. I called and asked if they could fix it. They told me to bring it down and they would take a look. So I put the part in my trunk and headed down there. The staff was great. They came out and I showed them the part and said let's see what we could do. They took the strip and my car to the auto body shop while I went in and waited, they offered me water, coffee even popcorn. As I sat and waited I was thinking. Can they put it back on, are they going to need to order the part am I going to have to order the pair. Boy! was I nervous. I waited about a half hour and here comes my car looking like new! A gentleman handed me my keys and I went in to pay and they said no charge. Really no charge! Yay! Thank you all so much. It's good to know there are still good honest businesses out there and you're the best!! Thank you so much! If I ever need work done again. I surely will bring my car to you. Thank you!
