Uninsured driver rear ended me, my car being 1 of 3000 made the insurance was only willing to cover 70% of the value and the repairs exceeded the amount they were willing to pay, I called several auto shops and all expensive. When I called Fredi answered super understanding of my situation and willing to work with my insurance, I literally cried feeling so blessed I found Prime collision. They were honest and reassured me the car will look brand new again, when I picked up my car it in fact it looked like nothing happened. I felt bad because they had a bit of a challenge with a part that GM needed to make and took forever but they were patient and kept me posted on the status of delivery. I came to Kevin to have a front bumper replaced for my moms car. She had some damage to 2 parts of her bumper and it needed replacement. Gotta love Asian mom drivers. Kevin put a new bumper on the car and it looks good. In fact, it almost looks TOO good. I wanted him to put a few scratches on the bumper so that it would match the rest of the car... I am very satisfied with Kevin's work and he charged me a fair price. It was a painless process and it did not take too long. I generally don't hand out 5 star ratings. However, this is one of those times when a 5 star rating is truly called for. I need to have extensive body work done on my VW Jetta from being rear-ended. Kevin Hamamoto, the owner, was quite candid whether his shop would be able to handle a job of this magnitude (the car should have been totalled and the insurance company is being contrary) and suggested I take it to a larger body/repair place in Stockton. Not only did Kevin offer some suggestions of where and where not to take the car. He also gave me some very sound advice on how to deal with the insurance company and the body shop I would be taking it to. As an 'older' member of society and being a woman I can tell you the time that Kevin took out of his busy day meant a lot to me. And brought me some measurable peace of mind. read more

The passenger side of my new matte finish ev was dinged last night against our concrete garage wall, and a small piece of paint chipped exposing the metal. I wanted to get it looked at/repaired by a pro before corrosion or rust hits in. Glad I came across Kevin's shop, he was very knowledgeable and upfront about what he could or couldn't do and what he thought would be best next steps. I really felt like he wanted to help me and not just make a quick buck. Had my issue been a collision, Kevin was really upfront admitting he doesn't really deal with larger ev jobs given the electronics and internals, and even recommended a competitor I should take it to if that should ever happen! I'd definitely bring an ICE car to Kevin to look at! He's an all around great guy and comes across as a very passionate car guy. Highly recommend him! read more

I was in an accident (not my fault, of course). I had gone back and forth with the insurance company, and was sick of the hassle.
