I ordered a controller back on Jan 5Th 2022 it is now Feb 23,2022 I never received my controller. I contacted them by email on Feb 8th 2022 to follow up on my order they responded on Feb 9th asking for me to complete a form which I did and sent it back to them on Feb 10th I still have not heard back from them I did a follow up email and I have not heard from them the order says they have been processing since Jan poor customer service it should not take this long to get my controller since they are local. Very disappointed with the customer service I feel like I got scammed and ripped off. read more

Ordered a custom $200 controller for my son for Christmas. He used it 3 times when it stopped working with his headset. I called and spoke with someone who told me to do a hard reset and call back if that didnt work. We did the hard reset, nothing changed. I attempted to call their tech support yesterday. It took me 4 calls to get through the first time, I waited on hold for 22 minutes and the call was picked up and hung up on. I called again and same thing, overall I spent an hour on hold and was never able to speak to someone. I emailed them from their website, have gotten zero response. I then emailed them on their Facebook, again, zero response. For a product that you spend $200 on, its very cheaply made and the customer service sucks. I still havent gotten a response and am now out $200 because the controller doesnt work. read more

Scuf controllers are one of the coolest controllers you can buy for your console or pc. When I first saw them I had to have one because of the triggers on the back. To keep it short this company produces only a cool product, not one that is sustainable for longtime use which is what any good product does/should do. Super frustrated as I paid 200$ for a controller that lasted hardly a year, now has several issues. DONT BUY SCUF, writing this because I want others to know the truth about them. It's like buying a fancy Kia? (Buttons stick, analog stick has mind of its own, response is late) read more

Terrible product! Save your money. Bought as a gift for a family member and made me feel ashamed of the gift. From the moment it was opened one of the trigger buttons did not work. After less than 3 months use it completely stopped working, does not turn on at all. We sent it back to Scuf Gaming and 2 weeks later there is no news, nobody replies the phone which automatically hangs up after a 15 minute hold, and the online chat is not answered. Truly a shame the way this business is run. $200 later we have no controller and no customer support. DO NOT BUY. read more

I purchased a custom scuf controller in March of 2021. It is the worst purchase I could have made. To start I had to send the controller back after I received it because the would only work while connected to the charger and the A button was messed up. Return and received it the second time and start having issues with the right analog stick riding up. Of course it's a month after my 1 year warranty has ended. Now, 1 year 4 month since purchasing, the thumb stick is so bad while at the title screen of a movie it jumps between the play options. Or while on Hulu it's constantly scrolling up. It also has a short charge life, buttons will stop working and controller will stop working all together while still on. I hate this controller, will never waste another 200 + dollars on one and do not recommend!!!! read more

After almost $300 with upgrades and shipping charges, the controller was great.... FOR MAYBE 6 HOURS TOTAL. Then both of the upgraded digital triggers (L2, R2) stopped functioning completely. I really can't believe it honestly, but here we are. I don't know that they can make things right since it took 3 weeks to get this waste of time and money, and from what I've read it will take close to the same for them to "repair" it. And people are saying the issue persisted after being "repaired". But I will update either way. Save yourselves the trouble and just get something else. ANYTHING ELSE! I wish I could leave 0 stars on this piece of trash remote. For lack of better words... read more

Would not recommend going with this company. Ordered a controller on May 15th, was supposed to ship out by June 15th. It is now June 28th and it still shows that they are building it. When reaching out, all they did was offer free shipping (which is what the promo was for the month anyway.) Then they send an email stating they made a mistake on their website concerning sales tax and wanted to charge $10 more dollars. Please don't waste your time and money with this company. If you want a good controller, go to somewhere like megamodz instead. read more

Scuf is garbage they won't help with my $650 controller I even paid for a 2yr warranty up on my left dpad does what it wants when it wants this controller is garbage so I have been forced to get the ASTRO c40 to never made a better decision in my life.. scuf needs to shut down they're rip off artists read more

I would just like to say I am starting to get very disappointed. My controller has been nonoperational for over a month. Ive had this controller for little over a year. It was over 200 dollars which is like 4 times the price of a regular controller. That price is justified imo assuming it works well and is durable. Unfortunately, it has not been. The original micro-usb that was sent with the controller failed after like 5 months. Which is fine, I understand, cables are cables. However, this controller drift I am now experiencing is a much bigger issue. Ive had numerous controllers from both Xbox and Ps4 that haven't developed controller drift nearly as bad as this. I had one xbox controller that developed it in after 5 YEARS and it still was nowhere near as bad. You could adjust controller dead-zone and still play on it. My scuf controller is unplayable. I understand that scuf doesnt want to put your employees at risk, but you cannot just stop all controller repairs. I spent over 200 dollars and now am stuck not able to play my favorite games because I have gotten so used to the controller and the paddles. There are definitely ways to keep the controller repairs up and running during this time. Sanitation of controllers, employees wearing masks 6 feet apart, or even letting the packages set for 3-4 days when they arrive would solve all worries about the pandemic. Its not like controller repair requires 10 people all hovering over the same controller. Also, the pandemic isn't going away. You cant wait until it does as that will be over a year. Develop a system to get repairs up and running while protecting your employees. read more

0/5 Do not buy the Vantage controller. Bluetooth doesn't work. Can't turn on the PS4 with this controller even when it is wired. Riddled with poor design and manufacturing flaws. For $200 this controller feels like it's put together with rubber bands and tape. Have to remap the paddles every session. Paddles require too much force to press compared to r2/l2. Customer service will not help you or accept returns after 14 days. I'm back to using a stock controller. Got nothing usable for my money so I feel like I was scammed. Many people complaining about the same issues on reddit so I know I didn't just get a bad one. read more

Customer service is TERRRIBLE. Bought 2 controllers... still haven't shipped, no replies from customer service. This is pathetic

So I went out on a limb and splurged on a custom controller for my PS4. I decided if I was going to do it I may as well go big so I ordered the $185 Scuf impact spectrum with all the spectrum features, including the EMR to remap the paddle buttons. I received my controller within the advertised window of delivery so I was please with that. One of the first things I wanted to do was remap the paddle buttons specifically for when I play any FPS. However there was an issue. I didn't receive the EMR tool to remap the buttons. Ok that sucked, I know I ordered the full customization for my controller but now I can't customize the paddles. Or so I thought. I was able to find a bunch of videos on YouTube that showed me how to do it with a simple household magnet. So for those who don't want the added expense to pay Scuf for what is basically a magnet. I emailed Scuf about the omission of the EMR tool and received this as a reply........................Yes nothing. No biggie, I fixed my own problem though I did tell them that I would begin posting negative comments in all the published reviews that I find. I'm beginning that campaign now. The controller works well though I feel 4 paddles is too much, the nice thing is that you can remove any paddles that you don't want to use so that level of customization is nice. It's a very responsive controller and I do feel it has had a positive impact on my gaming. But after a few months of use things began to fall apart. Literally...The first thing to go was the small circular trigger stops for the L2 and R2 triggers. One fell off and now it wont stay in. I'm able to put it back in place but inevitably it fall out again and it's so small I know that it will eventually fall out and get lost. Then the R2 triggers broke and I had to replace it with the longer triggered that were included. Again, emailed customer service and they replied with nothing. So most of the reviews about this companies customer service is correct. These company doesn't care about its customers and I am going to make sure that any professional gamer who does use their products know that they are a crappy company and should be dropped from any endorsement deals. To a premium for a product means you deserve a premium customer service experience. I hope all of you who have had a similar experience will do the same. read more

Worst customer service.... received a broken controller that cost over $200.... They never responded to my return request for like 20 days... Then said returns are only within 14 days... Needless to say I canceled with my credit card company and got my money back and just sent them back the controller on my own. Do not recommend this company! They used Covid as a reason why they can't get back to you.... but as far as I know everybody's working from home .... you can still use your customer service... it's simply keeping up with your emails.... read more

Worst piece of junk ever. Along with horrible customer service should equal 0 stars. Bought a $200 ps4 controller for my son for Christmas. It didn't arrive on time even though it was ordered well before and I was assured it would be there on time. Thanks guys... I hope I can do the same for your kids one day. The controller worked properly for about a week and then started glitching. Several months go by and the Left joystick when pressed down triggers L2 so bad the unit is unusable for gaming. I reach out to the SCUF (my computer keeps trying to replace SCUF with SCUM. What does it know that I don't). They say ship it back and they will look at it. I forget to send it out. I know totally my fault. I see it the other day and ask why he isn't using it. He reminds me I never sent it back. I reach out to SCUM or SCUF and they say,"Ya, its a well known board defect but sony doesnt make the boards anymore so you have a $200 paperweight". I state "I get replacement parts from china on out of date electronics all the time" Their response? We cant get them. But "we will give you a 10% discount code so you next $200 dollar paperweight will only be $180." Thanks guys good luck keeping customers with this shitty attitude. read more

Scuf Gaming - Want a $200 paperweight? Buy a SCUF controller. Want a quality controller? Look elsewhere. - Video Game Stores Near Me - Suwanee, Georgia

I have been so disappointed with scuf gaming... I ordered a controller and it took 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. When it finally did arrive it was damaged and inoperable. I paid $20 to ship the controller back to scuf and it is still sitting at there facility a month later. I was informed october 10th my controller was received. The quality of the controller and customer service have both been poor. The communication has been non existent, I am probably still a month away from using my controller j ordered over 2 months ago... read more

Great experience with the company. Although the order was a customized order, it still arrived very fast. My nephew was very pleasantly surprised by the controller. read more

It is a decent controller, and I really like the action on it. But the longevity and durability is appalling for the price. I spent $160 on a custom PS4 infinity, and barely got 8 months out of the controller until the right thumbstick started stick drifting, and eventually started snapping to one direction. Of course, the warranty runs out after 6 months, so I am SOL when it comes to repairs unless it comes out my pocket. TLDR; Nice controller, but reliability is shit. Save the money, but a stock controller with some kind of warranty on it, and don't look back. Unless you are sponsored by these guys, its terrible value. read more

Bought the 4PS Infinity controller and I have to say that It's great. If you wanted a no compromise controller, Scuf is the way to go. It is a bit pricey if you want all the bells and whistles. Controller has definitely stepped up my game a few notches, Everything worked like intended out of the box. From ordered to shipped took a total of 4 days (got the 3-5 day assembly + 2 day shipping). I will take a star away for price and build quality. The whole controller is solidly put together but the housing doesn't close all the way (to be expected since there's additional parts inside that there will be some give in it), so there's a tiny gap. read more

Prepare to pay, then pay some more. After i bought my 174 dollar controller, they wanted me to pay 30 dollars for "super expedited processing", 15 dollars for expedited processing, or 0 for regular processing. So you shelled out 174 dollars for this controller, which doesn't come with free shipping btw. Now they want you to drop 30 dollars more so they can build it the next day, or wait 8 days...8 days! So they can then ship it to you and you can wait a few more days! read more

Digital left bumper is broke and spazing out on its own. Haven't even had it for a month yet.

I bought the most upgraded controller and broke down in a couple of months. Horrible. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

A service lead named Will resolved the issue for me and expressed apologies. I feel better about the end of my relationship with SCUF gaming as a customer and think the while thing was unfortunate. Turns out my initial troubleshooting request was answered with incorrect instructions. Good on Will for making this right. read more

Worst piece of garbage I have ever purchased!! Got a controller for my birthday near the end of September (this year). Used it for about 3 weeks and then the controller stopped turning on like it wasn't charged. I sent it back and after waiting 1.5 months to get my controller back (2 weeks ago) it now is doing the exact same thing as the first issue that caused me to send it in. DON'T PURCHASE THIS SCAM! Go with another company. I haven't had any help from customer service or anyone reach out to me about my issue. I never leave bad reviews but this company deserves it. Wish I could leave this as 0 stars. read more

I'm just going to post my email to Scuf's Customer Service and you guys can be the judge of my experience with my controller repair. Keep in mind, I have sent in my controller before to get fixed by them. So I know how its all supposed to play out, and bruh..... this shit crazy just read.. pictures are also posted for after the reading. I am so so upset, disappointed, and just at a loss for words from this experience, and I will no longer be with Scuf. "Ok, So I had sent in my controller to get a repair that I have had done before. When I received the quote for how much it would be to fix, instead of the repair costing 40$ I paid not a year prior, I was told it would cost me 70$ to fix. I had sent in an email asking why it was so much more than before, and the cs agent who replied was really rude and basically told me either I pay it or I don't. He did not answer any of my questions I had asked. Like why it was so much more, and what other issues were wrong with my controller. So, being the loyal customer for 4 years with 2 controllers and multiple repairs, I paid the ridiculous amount of 70$ when I honestly could've done this for under 10$. And I will from now on. That is JUST the START. I had just got my Scuf back in the mail.... and oh my... all these reviews everyone says about you guys is TRUE. First off, I take care of my things, and when I send something out, I EXPECT to receive the SAME product back, correct? Well that was not the case. The scuf box is not the same box I sent in. Its all bent up, tore up, and ripped up? Now, when I opened the box I almost threw this controller across the room I was astonished. The joysticks on my controller looked liked they were mauled by a 3 year old teething?! These are NOT my joysticks that I sent off with my controller. I am absolutely stunned. STUNNED. MY RIGHT STICK ISNT EVEN CONCAVED IN?! ITS FLAT. TOTALLY FLAT?! LIKE WTF. I feel as if whoever was in charge of my ticket did this out of spite of the email I had sent in asking questions? So they just went ahead and screwed my whole order and experience up. Both sticks are not my sticks, who knows what nasty dude had them last. And the box was not my box, all ripped up. I paid almost 100$ for a repair, and I couldn't even get my old joysticks back with some new ones like you guys did with my past repairs. So upset. I am at a loss for words. I can NOT believe the customer support from you guys. Honestly. I hope you guys last as a company and don't slowly die because that is exactly what's happening. "At this point, what do you want me to do"? That's what the rep said after I called for controller not working for the third time. How about fixing the controller the first time I returned it! Or maybe even the SECOND time I returned it. Originally not working out of box. Honestly, worst customer service I experienced in a long time. Was gonna send back to get fixed thinking "third time is a charm" but after noticing they missed putting a screw in the back of controller after the second time of returning it and the comment from Dave, That's it! Maybe scuf should send out New controllers if customer returns controller TWO times for SAME ISSUES!!! I'm sure they are gonna charge me a restocking fee from all the comments but at this point I can't wait till I get my money back so I can never talk these people again. This was my third controller from scuf(3 kids), never had problems with first two, Definitely my last due to the terrible customer service. Just bought a ASTRO, feels nice, and seems a lot more smoother! AND IT WORKS. Go figure scuf! read more

This company deserves 0 stars. Long story short, they lost my controller at their facility for a week to start. Who knows how long it would have sat lost if I hadn't called in to question it. Next they blamed the USPS for everything including their own week-long delay. Multiple attempts to get answers via email or phone are useless because the emails are canned templates having you call them, and the phone support is atrocious at best. If you're lucky enough to call when the phones actually are working, you'll get canned answers from supervisors and associates alike. They do NOT care about their customers in the least. I will never use Scuf again once this controller inevitably dies for a second time read more

I personally would give this zero stars if I could. Scuf controllers are absolute junk. I ended up with major stick drift. Yes i like the extra buttons, yes they definitely help. But these controllers do not last whatsoever. The right analog stick when not even touching it absolutely takes off on me and does its own thing entirely. I strongly suggest not ever spending the money on one of these, as I no longer get enjoyment from gaming solely because of the headaches this controller has caused me. read more

I paid $280 for a custom controller from Scuf gaming for my son and it's broken already only after 6 one of the months, one of the joysticks snapped from regular game play and it did not come with extra ones!! You would be better off buying a Microsoft elite controller if you are an xbox user. Serious waste of money. I bought a scuff controller about 5 years ago and it was made from high quality materials, the one I just purchased is made with cheap materials. The thumbsticks are useless as they are made with cheap plastic and have no grip. When I contacted them about this issue they told me they were engineered for pro gamers and I should just live with it, yeah, no, no serious gamer would be able to or want to use these slippery pieces of garbage. I will never buy anything from this company again. Before you buy one I suggest you do an in depth internet search on them and read all the complaints in regards to the thumbsticks and their terrible customer service. read more

Was super excited to order one of these. Received the controller non functional, felt extremely cheap like an old $20 aftermarket controller and had it sent back. Asked for a refund since the controller didn't work and I didn't trust the controller or the companies ability to make a quality controller. They Refused to waive the 15% restock fee even though it states in their policy that if controller is defective then the fee is waived. They have said and done any and everything they can to hold onto my $30. So my assumption is that's the only think that can keep them afloat is scamming people out of money. Do not buy from Scuf. If you play on PC or Xbox the. Get an Xbox elite V1 or V2. I own both and they are far superior to Scuf. read more

Your controllers break to easy, you discontinued your Infinity 4PS, I invested around $500 dollars into that controller... instead of replacing the product like a normal business would, you offered me a 20% off of my next purchase... which is around $40 dollars off... The controller I originally purchased was $200+ before repairs...This is completely unacceptable... Besides the extra things that come with a SCUF, the main reason people buy the controller at such a price is because it can be repaired when broken, you removed the main reason I invested in this controller, leaving me the customer out of money for your product, which is a horrible business model, and again unacceptable... The repair on my original controller would have been $40... Now if i want to have a scuf again I have to invest all over again in hopes you dont discontinue that controller as well...I endorsed your product on my stream all the time, now im just going to tell them what happened to me, and why you should be careful purchasing any controller from this company... I hope you change your customer service and realize that this is not how you treat your valued customers read more

The Scuf controllers, though cheaply made, are really nice for FPS games. I own two controllers and both have had major issues. The real problem, and it IS a problem, is the Scuf customer support. I would say they are a joke, but that leaves room for translation that there is anything funny about it. Not only do they only respond to bits and pieces of information which they choose. But they lack the knowledge they need to deal with a product that's obviously made by people other than the support responders. The worse is I have even seen them blatantly lie on multiple occasions. I have to say, without exaggeration, Scuf has the absolute worse customer support I have ever experienced. read more

I should have read the customer service reviews before spending $200 on a PS4 Scuf. the website was confusing and I forgot to toggle the option of adding hair triggers to the order. I received the controller but had to ship it back to get the issue upgraded. That was a nightmare. literally no communication, hours of being on hold, random feedback from their twitter account that was completely unhelpful. So at this point they have my $200 controller back at their warehouse and refuse to contact me or answer my questions!! i literally just want to pay to have the controller upgraded and receive it back. At this point i'm chalking it up to $200 down the drain. Keep the controller if you are reading this Scuf - not worth the time on my end to keep chasing you. read more

I initially had no problem with my scuff but after a few months the left analog stick started to malfunction when it would stop my character from sprinting. I sent it out and got an email saying they received it, after two weeks of no response I finally decided to call them. When you call, an animated system tells you to wait 7 minutes and after those seven minutes are up, they hang up on you! I did this 3 times until I was finally fed up with them. I had to contact them using the online chat instead, after being told they didn't understand why they hadn't got back to me, they told me they'll find someone to call me back or email me. The next day they tell me that the main board needs to be replaced including front and back shells since they don't make my model anymore supposedly. $80 to replace, that's about half of what the controller cost me, i might as well stick to DS4's. I was under the expression that repairs wouldn't cost this much but I was definitely wrong and I bet their lying about what's wrong as well. I'll never buy from them again. read more
