After my experience with Window Nation, I don't think I can honestly recommend that anyone else purchase windows from them unless they are prepared to deal with all the hassle up until you get the actual windows. Knock on the door from an ill prepared salesman who said they were in the area that day. Had to haggle about the price and were offered coupon after coupon (price without any of the coupons was astronomical). We were offered a cruise we had to pay for (not a free cruise, only a voucher for a company that offers cruises to people who make large home improvement purchases). Huge lack of communication from the company until the actual day of the install (we had to call them several times about the cruise voucher, about a receipt, about scheduling; things were really only taken care of once the owner of the company got involved and handled things). We were given no direction to move furniture or window treatments prior to installation. Day of install was great, aside from my husband having to move all the furniture out of the way and take all the window treatments down because the installers are not allowed to do any of that, and aren't even allowed to help. Installers were professional and efficient, covered all our stuff with plastic, and didn't leave a mess behind when they left. Seriously, other than the furniture being out of place and the new windows, I would have never known they were there when I got home. So if you choose to go with this company, beware of the process prior to actually getting the windows. The installers are great, the windows are great, but the company itself and the way they handle things can give you a big headache.

Three people came out to do measurements. None of these people told us there would be any problems installing the window. This was for one window that was going to be installed in one day. It took two months and I had to finish the work myself. Apparently ours was the first house that they had ever done a window replacement for that had vinyl siding. They took five weeks to finish the outside of the house because they needed to order replacement parts that were damaged during removal. They needed eight weeks to get replacement woodwork for the inside because (you guessed it) they damaged it during removal. If I hadn't had to consistently call to find out the status of the job, we'd probably still be waiting to get it finished. COMPLETE AMATEUR HOUR. Do your self a favor and find someone that can do the job right.

Mark came out and I pointed out the issue, he denied responsibility but he agreed he would come back and flash the bottom of the window so water wouldn't come in. After two calls we set up an appointment for him to return. The next day he didn't show up when after setting up an appointment. I called him he said he had forgot and he hung up on me. Shortly after, the technician (Jeff) called me back extremely upset, claiming we were "bugging" them, and stated that the owner instructed him to cancel our job and process a full refund. I explained that this was our first phone call today to management and we were simply looking for a timeline since we hadn't heard back all weekend. But he refused to listen, claimed he told us to wait until Monday (which is not in our call recordings or my notes), and canceled the service. Very unprofessional conduct. We suspect this company is discriminatory due to us not sounding like we are from the area and being based out of state. We also paid for our job, but have yet to receive a full refund.

I went on the roof with him and he noticed damage in some areas. My insurance company sent out one of their inspectors and he noted the damage. As always my insurance company nickel and dimed the situation to do the bare minimum of repairs. The Restoration Guys know what they are doing, they got me a full roof replacement . It took some time and some fighting with my insurance company, but they guided me through the process and in the end the whole roof was replaced for just the cost of my $1,000 deductible. It looks great! And I highly recommend them Just be patient through the process.
