I contacted Screen Solutions to rebuild some of my window screens based on the reviews I read here and I was very impressed! Ian was super communicative, professional and knowledgeable. Our older windows were no longer completely square and the current screens had to be bent and forced to fit. Ian built replacements that fit well and are easy to remove for cleaning. He also noted that one of my screens really just needed a new screen and not a completely new frame which saved us a little bit on the total job. I was referred to this business by a window frame replacement company and although they came in a little tiny bit higher than other companies there was something so honest and sweet about Ian's quick response that i would rather pay more for a piece of mind and excellent customer service. They switched out one bathroom screen, build a new frame and screen for my bedroom and made me a brand new screen door for my patio. They replaced the bathroom and bedroom screen the same day they came out for measurement. Took only an hour or less. The patio screen door took a couple weeks since they need to custom made it. We got the heavy duty pet screen and the quality is excellent. I am loving all my new screens and the patio screen door even came with a lock (bonus!!)!! Ian and his team is the BEST! Screen Solutions is the best. I spoke to Ian about putting a replacement screen in one of my windows as I was worried my new cats would compromise the old screen in my window and fall out. Because my building is almost 100 years old and some windows are painted shut, it was no easy feat to get the screen into the railings in which they fit. Ian get me progress reports when on his way and once he got here was professional and also very nice. He replaced the compromised screen with a heavier pet-responsive one in the existing frame (which is not in great shape) and told me exactly what I need the landlord to do to make the window truly pet-proof. I recently purchased a new house and several screens were missing. I chalked it up to another task way down on the list of things to get done on the house. Then my AC went out! In July! Found them here on Yelp and I if I'm honest, the fact that Ian answered the phone may be the main reason I hired them to measure and install our new sliding screen door. I didn't even make another call. I could tell by his professionalism that it was going to work out. It did. He came to where we live in Highland Park and took measurements. Quoted a 2 week order time but the door was ready a few days under that. Came back, installed our beautiful new door, and that was it!
