About 3 months ago I was staying with my daughter for a week in the Fairfax area as she was recovering from surgery. A big box from Amazon arrived which was too heavy for me to get in her apartment. I walked out to the sidewalk and looked around and saw two men working out of the back of a truck. I walked over and asked if they would help me get the box inside for a few bucks. They immediately said yes and were very friendly and helpful. Then a few weeks ago I'm back home in El Segundo and there's a knock on the door - two guys were replacing screens across the street and asked if we needed anything done. Turned out I did need one replaced, and they came in and measured and said they'd be back. As I was escorting them to the door I mentioned I had a soft spot for screen guys because I had met some very helpful ones a while back. They did a double take, and then I did, too, because it was the same guys - Ian and Reza! What are the odds?! They just came back today and installed the screen, and now it fits perfectly and is much easier to put in and remove (I have to do it every day because I have in indoor/outdoor cat). Thanks, guys! read more

Ian and Reza installed a couple of cat proof window screens and a cat proof door screen. They were very pleasant to work with: fast, efficient and professional. So far, a couple of weeks later, the screens have held up very nicely. Whereas my old screens were riddled with holes from my cat's scratching, the new ones are completely intact. Cat proof indeed! read more

Ian and his team did a great job installing a big screen. They did it fast and professionally. It looks great and I hope it will hold up. It was just completed. It was a bit expensive, but I think it is fair given what was required. read more

If I could give Ian and Screen Solutions 10 Stars, I would. He was that amazing. He responded immediately to my request, gave me an instant, accurate, and fair quote, and arrived early and worked quickly and with the utmost care to create a perfect new screen for my old screen which may be older than me. With all that said, my favorite thing about Ian and Screen Solutions is how incredibly HONEST he is. I initially reached out for more than one screen, but, upon checking things out, he was so fair and honest and let me know that a new screen may not fix all of my issues since some were related to time / age and windows setting. For this reason, and for his high quality work at a fair price, Ian and Screen Solutions will be my first and only call when I need new window screens, screen doors, and more. All of the glowing reviews are right!!! Thank you, Ian! read more

My screen door and front window screen were sad and damaged. I contacted Screen Solutions and spoke with Ian (owner) and we agreed on pricing and a date within 72 hours. He arrived with his helper and within an hour (plus) they replaced the tattered screens with heavier screen material (because of our pets) and cleaned up around both work areas. They exceeded our expectations with something so simple, yet so aesthetically pleasing. I recommend Screen Solutions without hesitation. read more

I contacted Screen Solutions to rebuild some of my window screens based on the reviews I read here and I was very impressed! Ian was super communicative, professional and knowledgeable. Our older windows were no longer completely square and the current screens had to be bent and forced to fit. Ian built replacements that fit well and are easy to remove for cleaning. He also noted that one of my screens really just needed a new screen and not a completely new frame which saved us a little bit on the total job. Overall, I highly recommend Ian and screen solutions. read more

Screen Solutions! Great job replacing my screen window! Thank you! Highly recommended!

I was referred to this business by a window frame replacement company and although they came in a little tiny bit higher than other companies there was something so honest and sweet about Ian's quick response that i would rather pay more for a piece of mind and excellent customer service. He texts, is responsive and answers questions immediately. I like this as it shows attentiveness and service. All questions answered quickly and thoroughly. Not taking any chances on a company that will take my money and run. Not to mention they are family owned and right now I really want to support family owned businesses!! My screens are probably as old as the building which is almost 50 years! It was time to change the screens since the window frames would have been super expensive! I am super happy with them! I highly recommend. David came along with Ian and complimented him very well. They're really a great team! read more

The crew arrived as promised. They carefully measured the windows and discussed the options since the windows were pretty old. Then they went to the van which was parked out front and built the screen from scratch and installed under 45 minutes. Everything was perfect and worth the price. read more

Ian was very communicative, professional and easily installed a new screen on my large old window. Ian has a workshop in the back of his van, which allows him to measure and then make the screen on the spot. If you're like me and don't know what you're doing, this saves you from trying to measure, get a screen made and install all by yourself. Would highly recommend. read more

so impressed with the response time, easy scheduling, premium service and overall expertise and experience of screen solutions!! Awesome work!! Ian and his team is so amazing! They are professional, efficient, responsive, on time, honest, transparent and so easy to work with! The price is reasonable, no hidden fee, and the product quality is excellent. They switched out one bathroom screen, build a new frame and screen for my bedroom and made me a brand new screen door for my patio. They replaced the bathroom and bedroom screen the same day they came out for measurement. Took only an hour or less. The patio screen door took a couple weeks since they need to custom made it. We got the heavy duty pet screen and the quality is excellent. I am loving all my new screens and the patio screen door even came with a lock (bonus!!)!! Ian and his team is the BEST! I highly recommend them and will go back to them again for any future needs. Call Ian! You won't regret it! read more

Screen Solutions is the best. I spoke to Ian about putting a replacement screen in one of my windows as I was worried my new cats would compromise the old screen in my window and fall out. Because my building is almost 100 years old and some windows are painted shut, it was no easy feat to get the screen into the railings in which they fit. Ian get me progress reports when on his way and once he got here was professional and also very nice. He replaced the compromised screen with a heavier pet-responsive one in the existing frame (which is not in great shape) and told me exactly what I need the landlord to do to make the window truly pet-proof. Couldn't have been nicer and clearly understood about the old screen/new cat situation. No reason to call anyone one else. read more

They worked with us to help define our needs, came back on the scheduled date and installed everything : quality, custom sliding doors screens and window screens. Nice polite and friendly crew too. Recommend them. read more

Quick and efficient. They actually pop in for 3 minutes, take the screens and fix them in their truck and then pop in and reinstall in 3 minutes. Added new parts to screen frame to keep them snug. Likely using them again shortly for additional screens. read more
