My favorite place in the Old Forge area! Delish pizza that rivals Buffalo expertise, an amazing craft draft beer selection, wonderful staff, entertainment for kids, a menu that doesn't disappoint, a great server model, and the absolute BEST peanuts butter pie! Every week stay I visit at least twice. So many other amazing things to say about this place!

Medium pepperoni pizza to go. Photo taken from where our boat was docked by their back patio.

I love this restaurant so much, but here are some notes/disclaimers for first-timers. Be sure to bring your ID, they are strict about carding. I wish that they opened a little earlier, for lunch, but I think they only open at 4pm. The last few summers their playlist has been Top 40 dance remixes ‍ . The staff is always very busy so they are not the friendliest. That said- you will not find better wings or pizza (yes pizza) anywhere in upstate NY. I daydream about this place.

Good bar, excellent wings. Always get wings, pizza (both regular and gluten free) and antipasto salad. Slow in the off season but be prepared for a wait during peak times in the summer.

Fried mushrooms, mango cart fruit beer

Service is next to nothing and the food is the best in the area!! Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone that likes food and beer tasting!! 50+ beers on tap and samples before you get a full glass!!

Onion petals.

The wings are surprisingly yummy and there are actually a lot of flavors to choose from. Unfortunately, the smallest number of wings you can order are 12 and if you have major FOMO like me, you'll be unhappy to know that they can't do half/half flavors. They will recommend that you order 6 of a flavor and 6 naked with the second sauce on the side. The honey maple sriracha flavor was yummy and maybe a 3/10 in terms of heat as long as you don't inhale the smell down your throat (not sure if that makes sense but it'll burn a lottt). My onion petal appetizer was just okay - about 5 times more breading as there was onion. One bite and the onion came right out of the fried tube.

Really good pizza! Not just "good for a tiny little town in the Adirondacks," but GOOD! Their loaded veggie pizza is terrific.

We were in town for vacation and decided to stop by here after loving it last year. Unfortunately…read morethis place missed the mark for us this year. It started when we checked in. I had called the day before to get a reservation & was confirmed that they were busy but that they could seat us at 7 pm, which was perfect. We showed up at 6:50 & told the hostess we had a reservation to which she said she couldn't find us. When I told her we were confirmed to sit on the patio she again said she couldn't find us. I told her I didn't know what happened but we should have one, so she said, "Just a minute", walked to the back, then all of a sudden we were led outside to the patio at a table for 5. Strange. Our waitress didn't come over for about 5-10 minutes after that. When she came over, she took our order & then left. About 10 minutes later a new server came out & delivered drinks, spilling the beer at our table. This is fine, but he said, "Oh I'm new" & didn't clean it up. We then waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out. About 30 minutes in we asked the new server where the food was & he said, "I'll check but I'm new", then proceeded to not come back to our table. The food finally came out, but as this point our waters were empty. We never got refills until after we got our check when I asked for more water & then a pitcher was brought out & left at our table. Food was marginal. The chips & salsa you get with your entree only comes with like 6 chips, & overall food was just okay. Half our party liked it, half didn't. I understand if places are short staffed, but warning/notice/service letting customers know about it would be nice. Also I feel like refilling water is a bare minimum expectation at any restaurant. Giving three stars because I do think they have a good menu that feeds many types of eaters, & we had a good experience last year so this could have been a one off situation. Verdict's out on if we'd try this place next year when we come back.

The staff is very friendly but since the restaurant isn't huge, I would come early, especially if you have a large group, and put your name down since they get verrryyy busy on weekends/peak times. Their back patio is beautiful, they have umbrellas at tables too to block the shade, so if it is nice outside, I would try to sit here.

My boyfriend got the fish fry since it is only available on Fridays and I got a gluten-free pizza which is some of the best gluten-free crust I've had!! There is even live music on the day that we went, and the artist was phenomenal. After we ate and had some drinks, we went upstairs to the little arcade room and played some games. This is a great restaurant to grab a bite and hang out with some friends. Will definitely be coming back soon!!

At $7.50, they were dry as dirt, because they didn't have any garlic sauce, or salt, and every puerto rican knows that plantains come with sauce and plenty of it. Waste of money. My husband ordered the sausage and peppers, which consisted of 1 sausage cut in half,on a hamburger bun and a few pieces of peppers. Fries were average, $14.50. I had the chicken quesadilla, $17.50. Ordered 1 margarita and double Jim Bean for hubby, I believe they were $15.00 each because the entire bill was a bit over $72.00, and being the person that I am, I left a $10 tip, not knowing what the food looked like until we got back to our campsite. Needless to say, much of it got tossed. If I could give it a negative star. review, I would. WASTE OF MONEY

We were seated immediately which was awesome seeing as it was 4th of July weekend. We ordered the spinach and shrimp dip for an appetizer and we ate that up immediately. My boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger which he thought was really good and cooked perfectly (medium rare fyi). I chose the drunken chicken which was huge and the chipotle mayo was a nice addition! Overall very good and filling. Slickers is always a good time with friendly customers and staff. I've never had a bad experience here!

We didn't realize they were attempting to close the section to the left. We waited about 25 mins. Some other families arrived with 4 and were seated immediately. We were finally seated. 10 minutes after we were seated I went back to the hostess and asked who are server is since we still didn't have drink orders. It was the server that was serving the table next to us. She never said, "oh I'll be right with you", even after she went to that table 5 times. They kept asking for drinks and crackers and more items. After I approached the hostess I saw them flag her down and ask her to serve us, not sure if she was supposed to go home, on break or what the breakdown with service happened to be. After the hostess flags her down she comes up to our table and asks for drinks, no apology for the wait or having to flag her down to get service. I said we have been here for 10 minutes, we are ready to place our full order. We order everything. It takes 11 minutes to bring 5 waters, 2 sodas, and 2 bottles of beer. This is after the place has now cleared and is quiet inside. 85% of the tables and bar are empty. 28 minutes later our food arrives. She never came back to ask for refills. She had two tables at this point, ours and a family of 4 behind us. After the food was delivered and we were eating I glanced over to the bar to see the manager, hostess, bar tender all eating chips and dip at the bar due to it all slowing down. The server came right over to ask if everything was ok and began leaving before we could answer. We would like more drinks. Buser never cleared our table. I had to put dirty dishes on the table being cleared next to us. Service was negative stars. I have two stars because the food was really good, the environment was ok. Some cobwebs in corners and the building is a little shabby, but it goes with the vibe. I would rather have stellar service and ok food than great food and not great service.
