The Friday before, I realized my fridge had stopped cooling/freezing, so called them at 1pm. They said they were really booked but tried to troubleshoot with me over the phone. That didn't fix the problem, so Craig said he would have a couple service guys stop over within the next hour or two to see if they could get it going. They ended up fixing my fridge that afternoon despite their busy schedule. Wow, that is great service you don't see very often. I am, and will continue to be, a loyal customer of Home Appliance. This particular location is kept very organized, and the sales associates are good about checking to see if they can help you find something. In the age of online shopping, it's easy to look online for some things, but I personally prefer to shop for things like towels and linens in person and this location has a variety of options and a nice show room. My partner and I have a bar we bought here in our home and it's held up well over the last few years. Sure, it was a pain to put together, but we were really happy with the end product and it's stood the test of time. On my most recent visit, I had some trouble getting my email 20 percent off coupon to work, and the sales associate took a look at the coupon on my phone and was kind enough to honor it even though I clearly needed to print it out to use it.

This business is one of the worst I have ever encountered!…read more We were new in the area and didn't know any better. In the past, we had taken a lawn mower for a new carborator, only to have them install it upside down. Later, we had them work on a snow blower, We didn't see it for a couple of weeks after it was delivered to the wrong address, although owner was sure he delivered to our house. It was several houses away, and finally the person living in that house called the police to report it, and we finally got it back. It's a small circle drive, shouldn't be that difficult to find our house where they picked it up!! (They delivered it to house #103 instead of "123" We didn't take any business to them for many many years until recently, we purchased a new Troy Bilt mower from a different store. A a couple of months after purchase, the mower threw a belt and we were told that Wade's was the only place that did their warranty work was Wades or a a city aproximately 50 miles away. We decided to give them another try.... Big MISTAKE! They were nasty on the phone and told us they were too busy and "their customers came first"! We called Troy Bilt, after which we received a message from Wade's they would come pick it up. After a week or so, they brought it back and left it in the driveway parked partially in front of our garage door, if it had been 15 minutes earlier, my daughtter would have backed into it when she backed out of the garage!! My husband was told it would be delivered in the evening, and they came around noon, not bothering to ring our doorbell to let us know it was sitting outside for us to run over!! Then they billed us almost $50 to pick up and deliver even though they are only approximately 6 miles away from our house. In short, this business is run by HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND RUDE OWNERS!!

This was for a total of 13 very small pieces, and they feel like Material/Box and Labor to pack is worth $43.80 and the Shipping charge is $38.35. I dont know when these auction companies decided that they would make shipping their big money maker. The strike fee was less profit than their overpriced shipping charges are going to net. All I have to say is if you are a bidder and want your stuff shipped expect to be gouged on the unknown side with the shipping charges. I wish they wouldn't feel the need to nickel and dime people out of more money and its getting to the point that I will just no longer bid on items because the added strike fees and insane shipping charges make the item no longer worth it.
