My daughter had been looking forward to coming here all week during Spring Break. We arrived and…read morethere was large party in the private area but just a few customers on the walk in side. I went to the counter to see what we needed to do, and the young lady was checking out customers and an older gentleman was also behind the counter with her. A younger man also walked up behind the counter as we were standing there. No one offered any information or assistance as we stood there to the side. I eventually asked her if we needed to do anything specific since we were just standing there to the side and she said "oh, sorry! I thought you were with the large party." She gave us instructions to select our pieces and then have a seat and someone would be with us to do the next step. We selected our items and had a seat. The two gentlemen were still around the counter or back and forth to help other customers with paint, etc. I made eye contact with both of them and they both turned away at several engagements. After about 8-10 minutes of no one coming to our table, my 9 year old looked at me and said, "Mom, I feel like no one wants to help us, and they've seen us sitting here for a while." WOW. An experience I NEVER want my child to have. We put our pieces back carefully, and left. I hate that was her experience especially because she was really looking forward to it, and there aren't many opportunities like this in our area, but I won't bring her back to be ignored.

They provide the ready to paint ceramics, paint, tools, and they also bake the pieces as well. We spent a decent amount of time here and never once did we feel rushed. We all loved the vast selection of beads - there are so many different colors, types, and cute Halloween themed offerings as well! Holly is very helpful in assisting you with picking out color themes or bead types that would go well together. We strung our beads and were all so happy with the results! They are priced either by the bead or by the string, so I went for a few of each and made a matching bracelet, necklace and earring set. I also got a couple Christmas themed earrings for fun! I would love to come back here. They also sell fabric. The fabric ranges from everyday quilting cotton to Liberty of London cotton Lawn. Their yarn variety is fabulous too. They carry Borocco and Fiber---- (sp?) and active pair perfect sock yarn as well as many other weights. I like that they did have a lot of fiber that other shops don't normally carry. They also have roving and Ashford spinning wheels (kiwi 3 and country spinner) and Regis heddle looms. I went to buy a kiwi, and ended up with a lot more! The staff was super nice and allowed me to assemble the wheel in the store. They loaned me tools and had everything else I needed. I know there were ladies doing a sew or knit in in their back room. I didn't participate but listed in. I think they were welcoming of newbies and some of them knew each other a while. If I lived here, it would probably become a hangout for me. This is definitely on my list to stop by whenever I'm in the area. And I'm 100% sure I can get my girlfriends to do a roadtrip to come visit here. I'm so excited to find such a neat shop! I had never been inside the store that I frequently passed while driving. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by one of the cashiers. I would have thought, she may have been frustrated by our late arrival. Thankfully, not. There are a vast selection of paints, putty, paint brushes, solution to clean brushes, books on how to draw faces, anime characters, and stencils to help create the perfect shape, size, and theme. Seeing the stencils reminded me of kindergarten and elementary school arts and crafts. All kinds of colorful wallpaper art. I think I spotted 10 different kinds of sketch pads for whatever art you wanted to make including custom comic books or for manga. My sister was happily assisted by, "Birthday Boy", Rodney. Him and my sister spoke for 30 minutes about the difference between watercolor, acrylic, and another method of paint. Rodney was giving my sister a lecture that she appreciated. He showed her recommendations on what travel kits to purchase and what he would use. My sister said that she really liked how thorough he was and that he knew what he was talking about. I enjoyed that he was personable and funny. The supplies in the ranges from $1 and up with plenty of brands to choose from. They even have an upstairs section. It's a pretty cool store!
