Rosemary potatoes are a must here! We had the eggs Benedict, which is quite popular, and the western omelet. The food was fresh and tasted clean. Yes, clean -- the opposite being greasy and gritty. The hollandaise sauce was rich without feeling like it was sticking to the back of the throat. And nice portion sizes! Enough for getting full without leaving you feeling like you gained five pounds. The servers are also overly attentive, visiting tables to ask if you need water, condiments or anything else. The decor is very bright! They take the morning/sunrise concept to the extreme! I want to give this place a higher rating because the food that I did get was fairly good, but the overall experience wasn't the best. First, there are four vegan breakfast items (that you can get all day) and two of them are indicated as having a gluten-free option by substituting with gluten-free bread. HOWEVER, the bread is NOT vegan, as I discovered upon asking when I was placing my order. It doesn't make sense to me to offer a vegan menu item with a non-vegan gluten-free option. I had to settle with not having any bread at all, and I was able to substitute fresh fruit instead of bread ... except the fruit didn't look very fresh at all. The fruit looked like it had been sitting out for who knows how long. Also, there has to be a better way of ordering your food than their current system. You have to stand in line and place your order at the cashier before sitting down, but during peak breakfast time, the ordering process takes so long that the line ends up getting very long and moves very slowly. The line went out the door when I was there. That all said, at least my Vegan Mushroom & Spinach Scramble was quite tasty and filling, and I appreciate that they are willing to customize everything about your meal. And the iced Americano I got along with my breakfast was also pretty good, and they have soy milk that you can use in place of dairy milk. read more

Found this place after a dentist appointment and looking up vegan friendly restaurants nearby. It was so good. They have all kind of breakfast and lunch items not just vegan. And their selection for vegan didn't leave you wanting for anything. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They have bar stools against the walls where you can charge your electronics. Patio was nice sized and had misters. The inside was clean and they have a self serve fountain drink station with condiments and sugars and creamers. Highly recommended this spot. read more

I had such a pleasant time here. We were on a time crunch to catch a flight out and needed a good vegan breakfast before we left. I was so happy to see this was a restaurant concept where you order and pay at the same time and they bring the food out to your numbered table. They have an entire portion dedicated to vegan food. I got the soyrizo burrito and it was awesome. All burritos come with a side of salsa and has browns which were also perfectly cooked, the burrito had a bit too much turmeric in it, but other than that it was awesome. The food came out in about ten minutes or less which was great as we were so short on time. I wish we had one of these restaurants in MN, I would go all of the time. The price was good too, about $12 a person. The staff was super welcoming and friendly, and the COVID protocols were strictly enforced here. It's not far from home at Union Hills and Cave Creek Road. You don't have to drive all the way downtown Phoenix. Service was quick, place was extra clean and great service from cashier to servers. The way you order is set up very similar to Pei Wei. You go in, look at the digital menu on the wall and order at the register. They give you a number and then you go and sit at a table and wait for your food. I like that all of the condiments are in a convenient place for everyone to get to. The condiment/station looked pretty clean, so hopefully they've been cleaning it frequently throughout the day and will continue to do so in the future since it is a high contact area. As for the food, I ordered a vegan soyrizo burrito which came with a side of hashbrowns. My friend ordered a vegetarian omelette which came with a side of hashbrowns and an English muffin. The food was delicious and we both almost finished our plates completely. My friend ordered a peach smoothie and she really loved it while I ordered a strawberry smoothie but I didn't really like it that much because it tasted kind of watered down. Next time I will just order their delicious food without the smoothie. On the plus side, they had quite a few vegan options for me and I can't wait to give the others a try (especially the vegan French toast)! We will definitely be back. read more

When it comes to the food, I wasn't especially impressed. I ordered the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict (eggs, Jalapeno corn bread, cured ham & chipotle hollandaise) and while it was good, the only flavor standout was the cured ham. It came with a side of just-above-room-temperature rosemary potatoes and while I could SEE a few specks of rosemary, I couldn't TASTE any rosemary. While delivering the The Gouda Brizza (Eggs, smoked Gouda & applewood bacon) carryout order I placed for a friend, the aroma wafting through the car made me wonder if I'd made the wrong choice from the menu. As it turns out, maybe I didn't. I'm told it was OK for flavor, but the crust looked and tasted like a glorified cracker and there was no discernible flavor of gouda. The service was fine, but could use a little more pep, considering people are there to jump start their day. Three stars. I can't say I'm completely disappointed in Scramble, but it could step it up a small notch when it comes to flavor/texture and price. Breakfast pizza hasn't really caught on in PHX the way it has on the east coast. Back east an entire (full size) breakfast pizza can be purchased for little more than the personal size available at Scramble. Then again, price is soon forgotten when quality is the star. read more

Never having been here before, the menus are posted right when you enter and it's almost cafe-style where you order upon entry and seat yourself and the order is brought to you. UM. When Jesus resurrects this is the first place he'll come to. Yes. You read correctly. I indulged in the Soyrizo Vegan Burrito except I had it as a scramble because I can't have gluten and the cashier let me sub in tomatoes which was bombtastic. In addition to not being able to eat gluten I have other food restrictions so I don't eat out a lot. For that, I am SO happy to have found scramble. It was honestly the best breakfast I've had in years. The employees were also super nice, helpful and attentive! Yay for customer service not being dead!! I brunched with my boyfriend and he ordered the Chile Verde Burrito and the Blueberry French toast. We were staying at the Hilton up the street. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. The manager took our order & were we impressed. We got the lox and the two egg special with hash browns, sausage links & toast. My wife got a Chai Tea Latte and I had an Orange soda. Everything was superb. That was on Saturday morning. Great conversation with your manager and your team is very knowledgeable and friendly and obviously well trained. Then we went back on Sunday and did it again with my wife going with the senior meal with Pancakes and sausage & I had the same meal. Different team than Saturday but same comment - fantastic meal. The breakfast Scone (blueberry) wasn't the best ever, but that didn't affect our opinion of our visit. The sausage link did explode when I cut into it and I ruined my shirt with the oil from the sausage ... EVEN that doesn't change our overall experience. We are from SoCal and was there to see a Padres game against the Dbacks. If we ever come back to Phoenix, we will surely be back! Great job! read more

Biscuits and gravy- tasted about average, but for the size of the biscuits, the amount of gravy was disappointing. The gravy was also a little gluey, which isn't super noticeable but was hard to ignore once I did. Honestly, I could get better at IHOP. Avocado toast- the avocados were spoiled and very brown. I addressed it to the server that it "tasted bad" and was told that they "cut the avocados fresh every morning" which is probably true but they don't bother to separate the bad avocados to toss away from the good ones. Server took the plate away and never came back to us for the rest of our visit. The Az sunrise brizza- it was okay but the very dry. It needs some kinda of aioli or sauce. ketchup or hot sauce won't do. Orange juice was good but for 3 dollars, it was not filed all the way up. Candy cane mocha was okay. All in all. Decent breakfast joint. You won't be amazed by any of their dishes but nothing is low quality. My main issue with this Scramble is how they ONLY have one point of sale system running on the weekends when I come. The line goes out the door and the queue wait time is just too long. You guys need to invest in another employee to man the other POS system and that place would be much more attractive. Think of it this way..... you guys know your quality.... the longer someone waits the better the food needs to be.
