If you ever feel uncomfortable around this scene. Don't. These guys got your back and they are friendly. They have some great drinks that taste amazing, the vibe of the place is awesome, and they have some kind of horror movie playing. Right next door is a horror themed shop so after your drink you should go check it out.
Fun spooky coffee shop that serves on the vibes and fun drinks! Really hard narrowing down which coffee to choose but ultimately ended up with the Samoa Kooky Latte, an iced sea salt caramel cookie latte with coconut cold foam and chocolate drizzle - I mean COME ON that is delicious! The horror sprinkled into the descriptions alone are fantastic as well. Cozy seats for a small little shop and a few tables as well. They also have burritos and a pastry window as well with a few options. I think the popcorn on the menu is pretty creative, leaning into the "horror movie" vibe of the place. Glad I came to try this spot out! Street parking is going to be your best bet.
Everyone I come here I have an amazing time . It's often paired with going to a show at the creepatorium or a vendor market. We love to go into the shop next door too! So much to see in the coffee shop and their partners next door. The drinks are always incredible and made with a lot of care by the amazing humans that work here. Delicious and fun drinks and I've never been disappointed. Definitely looking forward to coming back here again and again and again and bringing friends and introducing them all to one of our Denver faves ! Cool fun horror vibes that anyone could enjoy and experience! Highly recommend!
Ahhhh this place is awesome. The drink menu is so fun I had a hard time picking what to order first, the drinks weren't TOO sweet which I loved. The staff told us about all kinds of events happening within the community that I immediately wanted to check out. The vibe is killer (haha) We'll be back!
The Pear Witch Project was one of the best chai's I've ever had. Talk about a fun stop, with an attached haunted shop. The service was spot on. Such a positive vibe from the staff and the Halloween haunts just made the experience. Definite must stop coffee shop
How did I not know of the existence of Scr3am & Sugar Coffee before? I heard of this Halloween-themed coffee shop via social media and assumed it was a seasonal pop-up, but apparently they've already been around for two years!! This is a very fun and imaginative place, decked out in horror film memorabilia and attached to Horrid, a horror shop. The coffee shop offers drinks with witty horror-themed names like "Basic Witch" and "Maple Myers cold brew." The baristas were so cool and kind too. They even have gluten free bakery goodies! Visit here for Halloween this October, or at any time of the year!
Loved this place so much, I had to come back! Being a huge fan of the horror genre, I felt very at home here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. With so many unique drinks to try, I went with the Turmeric - Ginger Latté on ice. It was sweetened just a little bit with honey and it was Gory Good! This drink was so Sinful that I had to come back on another day to enjoy a second one. The decor was so creepy and ghoulish and all your favorite characters were lurking about. The brick building adds to the ambiance and the vibe was wicked. The drink menu features many drinks and a couple are horror named such as Nightmare Fuel, Somthin' Wicked, Cinnabite Latté, and Hiya, Georgie. I wish I lived nearby so I could try them all. The staff are so helpful and ready to customize your drink your way. Attached is a horror theme gift shop to browse. The parking lot is small but there is street parking available or be like me and walk there. Overall my experience here was Frightful and Delightful!
Horror movie vibe coffee shop with great service and a variety of delicious flavored coffee. We went for the Valentine's day treats after the Friday the 13th. We got the maneater, (F 13th special) mama's boy, bacon breakfast burrito, and veggie breakfast burrito. Everything we got was very delicious and was such a delightful treat. Highly recommend this coffee shop. The parking is very limited but there are a plenty of neighborhoods street parking nearby. Very busy on weekends, so recommend during the week for people who do not like crowds.
What a fun little coffee shop for horror fans! We went here on Halloween which I assume is probably the busiest day of the year, and there were two people in front of us in line, but by the time we were leaving the line was constantly out the door. We got the Georgie and the Ube latte (I can't remember what it was called), but they were both good, however the Georgie was definitely the winner!
What a fun place to hangout and have an amazing cup of coffee. We also played a few of their board games while we waited. 4 of us ordered drinks, we all loved them. Especially my daughter, she got the cocoa and it was out of this world! Easy to find, right off of Broadway, good parking in the front of store. The lady working was so so nice and made us feel welcome. I'll be back!
I'd give this space 5 stars on the ambiance alone! As a spooky girlie, this location feels like home. With a welcoming staff that is eager to create a drink you will love, I am always greeted with warmth & I stay to enjoy my coffee surrounded by all of the horror / goth goodies! I've been here twice within two weeks and ordered the Orlok's Obsession both times. I'm a big cold brew lover and this drink delivers. It has all of the beautiful floral notes that you could hope for with the lavender & the cold cream just makes it perfect. You can customize any drinks and some of the themed drinks (I tried my friends) can come in a little sweet for my taste, so adjust according to your taste. I'm excited to come back here again to enjoy this beautiful setting. I feel so grateful to have a space like this in Denver!
Reviews are largely positive. People love the creative horror-themed atmosphere, unique and delicious drinks, and friendly, welcoming staff.

Having a mother daughter day and kicked it off here. The vibe was everything. We were welcomed in and the service was great. We both ordered bacon breakfast burritos with chipotle crema. I chose to get a medium Nightmare Fuel. This was the perfect level of barely sweet for me. It consisted of cold brew and espresso over ice with salted caramel cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Delish! My daughter chose a medium iced chai. We found a table and took in the ambiance. I wish this was closer to home, I would definitely come here more. Soon we were enjoying our burritos and beverages. Get the crema for with a burrito. It was an excellent accompaniment. After we finished we headed next door to Horrid, but that will be another review. read more

While I was visiting Denver I came across this cutesy cafe on my fyp on TikTok.. my man took me ASAP lol. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a HUGE HORROR fanatic. It's so serious to me I don't play about it LOL. This cafe definitely lived up to its hype and I encourage all horror lovers to check this place out at least once. I ordered the Hiya Georgie coffee and my man got two drinks to have a little one of each (Jason Smores Hees) and some espresso. All of our drinks were delicious and the flavors were there! I'd definitely try more in the future. Service was very friendly and welcoming as well. The cafe is a little small and we came around the time where a few people were there so it felt cramped but it wasn't a problem. There is another room in the cafe that is a horror store as well! After we got our drinks we browsed around and I picked up a few things. I felt like a kid at the candy shop who's taking forever hehe. I would've bought out the whole store.. it's so dangerous LMAO. Overall my experience here was a delight. I can't wait to visit again in the future! read more

Scr3am and Sugar is a must stop for any horror fans! The coffee shop is attached to the horrid gift shop, so I recommend grabbing a coffee and browsing the shop. They have a lot of super yummy flavored drinks and matcha teas, most of which are themed after horror movies/shows. I ordered a Tiffany Valentine which is a raspberry mocha based on Bride of Chucky with edible PINK GLITTER!! My friends got an Orlok's Obsession cold brew (lavender) and Perfect Pair latte (cherry pie with graham cracker crumbs). Everything was really tasty and def fun to drink! The fun flavored drinks are sweet but they also have regular coffee and sweetness level can be adjusted. In addition to coffee, they have matcha, tea, and cocoa. They have alternative milk as well. They also have a few snacks such as baked goods and homemade flavored popcorn to much on, which looked great! The inside is cozy with velvet couches and chairs. Overall a cute place! I'll definitely be back! read more
This place is cool! The horror theme is really extravagant. They have unique drinks but I ordered the same thing I order everywhere and it was delicious. There's a little horror themed shop next to it that you can browse. Limited parking in front of the shop but street parking is all around it! I will totally be back as everyone I encountered was really friendly. read more

Scr3am & Sugar coffee shop is a pretty dope spot. I will say that it's pretty hard to find parking in the area if you come on one of their sinister Saturday shopping events. I happen to go when they had bands playing in the back and a whole little market set up so that was hard to find parking for a larger truck. The people taking my order were really patient and told me a little bit about the menu because I've never been it was my first time I just wanted a non cider drink so I got the shark bite drink. They made it with almond milk instead of dairy cream for me. It was reasonable. It was around $4.75. They also had some popcorn mix snacks they make . There was something about popcorn and coffee wafting in the air that was so comforting. There are tables and lush seats to sit, but I took my drink next-door to the Horror themed store that was attached to the coffee shop. The store is very welcoming to everybody from all walks alive to all backgrounds you're welcomed in. It's a safe space. The sinister Saturday market area in the back had a lot of little vendors set up. It was so cool to see everybody selling their jewelry, their knickknacks their clothing, their stationary, all alternative things that I happen to be looking for for people that I know. It was so creative and so unique they're gonna find it when they have these marketplace fair set up. For those into this type of genre, it is definitely recommended by me. read more

Some very cool looking horror themed drinks, but I like coffee, so that is what I ordered. It is some of the best I've had. The atmosphere is great, the employees are wonderful, and the space is fun. I will be back, again and again. read more
I have been here a few times now and its becoming one of my favorite spots. Having a horror-themed coffee shop is 100% up my alley. The location can be tricky, especially with all the current construction, but once you know where it is, it's not difficult to find. There's a few spots to park out front and then there's always street parking on S. Broadway. Inside is very cozy, with kitschy horror decor and horror movies playing. I love the variety in the drinks, they have some unique flavors and I love what they do for their seasonal/themed drinks. They also use a local coffee brand which is a plus. Staff is friendly and its generally pretty chill in there, so not a bad place to work or study. It's connected to Horrid, the horror shop, so it's fun to grab a drink and then go next door to browse around. This is quickly becoming a fixture in my time around this part of Denver. read more

This coffee shop is a must stop for anyone who loves horror, occult, spooky, goth, witchy vibes along with delicious coffee options. Just a few steps behind the store itself. It's off the beaten path of Broadway but should not be missed. read more

Highly recommend! I ordered "Somethin' Wicked" and added salted caramel foam - Personal preference I enjoy a darker stronger espresso roast but the way the drink was made was well balanced, light in flavor, and easy to adjust the sweetness to your liking. The barista was a few minutes late opening up shop and I didn't mind the wait, bc that didn't stop her from giving excellent customer service, it was quick and friendly so kudos to her! Loved the horror theme and would like to see some Disney villains turned horror in the future. So happy I was able to check out this coffee shop gem before leaving Denver. read more
