Scottsdale eyewear's customer service is top-notch. Their pricing is even better!!…read more If you'd like to read, here's my boring story. I was blindly going to have SW Eye Center take 2 pairs of JMM's and 2 pairs Dita's and convert them to readers for about $2400. The doctor wasn't in to do my eye exam which would've cost me $65 which I thought was kind of odd because I'm spending so much money with them but ok... so I go to their Mesa location. They can't fit me in, they sent me to the other Mesa location and they can fit me in but they want to charge me $260 because they're a different owner. Best decision I ever made was to pick up my glasses and start go to Google search. Found 3 eyeglass companies, checked out 2 of them and Scottsdale eyewear cause the last one farthest away from where I had picked up the glasses, so I stopped there at the very end of my search. Walked in & I was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. They're very knowledgeable. Told them when I wanted to do, they said they could just order lenses, which is the first time anyone has said that out of the other 3 businesses. Everybody wanted to order special made lenses because they're high-end glasses but Scottsdale eyewear said there's already lenses. They just have to order them and throw them in. That being said, I was thrilled, I really wanted to turn my nice glasses into readers. Old people problems you know what I'm talking about... then came the price I was blown away! Best price out of all the eyeglass companies. Thank you, Scottsdale eyewear for converting 4 pairs of glasses and do readers. I just dropped off another pair and I'm purchasing another pair and as soon as it comes in, I'll be dropping it off so they can turn them into driving glasses. If you're looking for a no BS scenario and you just want things done right and good time and not it gouged, this is your jam.

I've continued to be pleased with my eye exams and overall experience with Eyecare Plus Scottsdale. I've purchased glasses and always been happy with them. While I didn't find anything too sporty, I did end up purchasing a new pair of glasses and sunglasses with Amanda's help. She was a joy to work with and I cannot wait to get my new glasses when they are ready soon. Thanks again to the doctors and entire staff at EPS for meeting all of my eyecare needs! Me being the irresponsible adult, waited until I was out of contacts to go to my appointment to get more. They didn't have trials of my astigmatism contacts I use but they had the regular ones which can hold me over. Dr. Goldberg said they typically come in fast so after a week, I called and asked where they were because I didn't get them yet. They were on backorder and she (will not name who I spoke with on the phone) said let me call and see for how long, it's not usually long. Turns out it IS long and they wouldn't be in until November 17th so she directly called the manufacturer (Bausch + Lomb) and they said they can overnight them for $13. So I paid the $13. Well that was on Friday so I expected them Monday. Didn't get them but thought... maybe because I called them later in the day on Friday, they probably won't be here until Tuesday. Tuesday goes by, NO CONTACTS. So first thing this morning I call the eye doctor and she tells me the FedEx tracking is saying it was delivered......... I BLEW UP. I would know if the contacts were delivered. I work from home and see FedEx pass me everyday. We have a camera that would go off if something was delivered. She basically tells me it is out of the eye doctor offices hands now and I need to deal with FedEx. All I can think is "I just want to see!!" The lady tells me "well you can order more but it'll cost you". Immediate thought was I AM NEVER GIVING MY MONEY TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN. I call FedEx and they tell me they will contact the driver and he SHOULD get back to me by the end of the day, 5pm. I said "so I will sit her blind until I hear back from you at MAYBE 5pm!?" He said he made note that this was urgent... Mind you my thinking is, I'm working from home today and will flag down that driver myself when I see him. I get this text from the doctor's office and I honestly started tearing up.... My office and Bausch and Lomb are splitting the cost of my two 90pk contacts and overnight shipping. IF THAT ISN'T THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN, IDK WHAT IS. P.S. I'm highly considering lasik after this experience and I am still going to fight FedEx for the original contacts so I can give them back to the office for so generously giving to me

However, no one asked what vision insurance I had. When I arrived, they asked for my medical insurance cards but never asked for my vision insurance. I was also asked whether I was having any medical eye problems, and I said no. I was there for a routine eye exam. After the exam, I was told it would cost an additional $50 if I wanted my eyeglass prescription. When I explained that I have vision insurance, I was then told they don't accept my plan. I chose not to pay the $50 because my vision insurance covers routine exams and prescriptions, so unfortunately the entire appointment ended up being a waste of my time. I now have to make another appointment with an in-network eye doctor. I'm also unclear why my medical insurance information was taken for what I understood to be a routine vision exam. This whole situation could have been avoided if, when I specifically asked about insurance while making the appointment, they had simply asked which vision insurance I had and verified whether they accepted it. Very disappointing experience and not a good way to run a practice.
