He kept me going in that for a couple of years until I found a decent deal on a 3 year old Toyota Highlander. He had fixed the weird and performed the simple maintenance requirements at reasonable prices with integrity and fairness. I just wanted to share so that any other women out there would know they could go there and not be taken advantage of.

This place is absolutely terrible. The owners are nothing but scam artists and frauds. I took my…read morecar in for an AC repair, and when I took it home, something was leaking from my car. When I took it to a real repair shop, they said something internal was broken and that a cover had been put over it to hide the damage. Disgusting. Additionally, the AC only worked for two months, because it turns out they did it wrong. They charged us a pretty penny for the services we got there, and nothing in our car actually got fixed. NEVER go here. Not if it's convenient, not if it's cheaper than another place. It's just a big, gross scam.

I usually take my vehicle to the Cadillac dealership for service and they are also excellent but I will continue to use Stringer. Their customer care is top notch! Everyone I came in contact with or spoke with was professional yet considerate. Just the whole environment and process was as stress free as possible in a stressful situation. 7 out of 5 Stars! I will also recommend Stringer to any family or friends or anyone in need of car service.

You need to understand why I sought to find a reliable Auto Care company that would meet my needs…read more I have never owned a used car in my adult life. I now have a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with 203k miles. The first thing I needed to do was to get it totally inspected so that I knew for certain what I was dealing with. I could have driven from my home on the hilltop to Grove City or to North Columbus but I wanted to see if something local would meet my needs. SHIFFLET'S met and exceeded my needs and expectations. Located on Sullivant Avenue just east of Demorest and on the south edge of Westgate Park SHIFFLET'S is convenient and they provide a shuttle, drop box availability, towing, a cool lobby, car rental services and both highly skilled ASE mechanics and office and support personnel that you wouldn't want anything more. This might not make sense but it has to be one of those little tiny things they have and that they use that really appeals to me... they text message on an isolated text line that you as a customer have access to. My inspection report with pictures came as a link in a text message. Updates were sent. It is so much easier using text messaging than playing phone tag around your availability to voice talk. Prices are so competitive that I don't believe price will be the factor that pushes your decision to use their services. I believe that their commitment to the customer by highly skilled long-time employees in a family-owned shop will be the deciding factors in choosing SHIFFLET'S. I appreciate that they use TECHNET warranty services and they definitely back up their words with action. https://www.shiffletautocare.com/ I can't imagine a high quality shop like SHIFFLET'S ever choosing to use gimmicks or sales tactics to persuade you on your decisions. They don't need to when their work reputation is all that's necessary.
