When the battery light comes on, it means your vehicle is being powered by the battery only, instead of the alternator. Owner Tu told me to remove the negative battery cable while the car was running. The car died. Easy over the phone diagnosis. I swapped out for a new battery and drove over. Tu got a new alternator delivered and installed the next day. The price was far below my other estimates. I immediately asked him to do rear shocks also, to throw him some extra business. Parts delivered and installed same day. He made this entire process happen in days before thanksgiving. Other shops couldn't see me until December. I've already spoken to Tu about some other minor work I would like to have done. Once again he removes the steering wheel to make a quick diagnosis on the cruise control. As luck would have it, 8 months later Columbus had a flash food and it was dark and you couldn't see anything. Water rose above the floorboards and the car was totaled because of potential damage to the electrical components. We replaced the car elsewhere from a more honest dealer. Maybe Lash is OK if you want a NEW car and a Chevy where you'd have GM behind the purchase but I WOULD NOT buy a used car from them without having YOUR good mechanic thoroughly inspecting it. Fixes Lash makes from their service department, may only be a bandaid to get it off the lot and another 50 miles. And at least in our experience, anything written in the contract was not honored. Very knowledgeable mechanics and very nice to employers in general, but very expensive place for…read morerepairs. I usually take my car in for oil, filter and tire rotation, $45 or so, not bad. However, any mechanical repair is extremely expensive. I received an estimate to change the sway away bars, rear suspension/rear shock absorbers and change the tripods for close to $1,500. I found a local small shop mechanic that did it for less than $700. Also, on another vehicle, the horn wasn't working, so Oxford gave me an estimate to fix it for $450. I reviewed YouTube videos and was able to fix it myself, since the problem was simply that the ground cable was not making contact. Bought a 2' copper cable, changed the horn and changed the plug, all for less than $60. Yes, $450 vs $60. Again, I don't think they are bad mechanics, but way too pricey. Won't go back.

The owners really seem to be passionate about what they do and I was thrilled to get a 10% for being a first time customer. My vehicle check engine light kept coming on and the boys told me it was because of my gas cap.They also detailed my car for no additional charge. I think I found my new safe heaven. The mechanics are hott too. lol. Overall I would say 5 stars for flexibility in schedule, speed of service and the fact I left feeling taken care of. Totally recommend.
