It is key to manage expectations here. You would miss this place if you were not looking. It is a hidden gem, but follow all rules or you will be given a hard time. No seating yourself and no grabbing beers out of the cooler in front. You will be blacklisted. :) This place reminded me of a Seinfeld episode. You will know what I mean after you visit. The menu is simple. Prices are spot on. The food is excellent. Good portions. The place is small. The restrooms could use a little love, but again.... this is a dive. I will return, but follow the rules ! :)

Don't be fooled by the appearance of the building when you pull up. This little hole in the wall has some of the best oysters in town, hands down! The raw oysters were fresh and delicious. Service was great. -Everyone is friendly and attentive.

I've been here about 4 times since I've been in town and every time I've gotten delicious food. I've had a stuffed pepper, Oysters Po Boy twice and Gator bites from the Daily Special Board the first time I went. Everything has been well prepared and delicious and I've never had any tummy problems from anything. The service is boisterous and enthusiastic. There is always lots of bantering going on between the employees which makes it kind of fun to observe and listen to. The walls are lined with clever sayings, admonitions, and lots of photos of fishing that I assume are of the owner and employees. It is very small inside with only about 10 to 15 tables. I always feel welcomed and remembered when I come in. They have items as low as 9.99, which is what I usually get being on a budget, but they also have fancy or dishes in the $20 range so you can find something within your budget no matter what. Oh, and I'm from San Diego so if I give a place a thumbs up that's in the middle of Texas it's coming from a person who knows seafood.

Great food! Nice little dive, and the oysters and hush puppies were delicious. Went on a Monday and it wasn't busy, but I can see how it could get packed on a weekend!

This is the spot for seafood. The spicy boiled shrimp were so good! I wish they had more non fried options.

I feel like it's hard to find a good Chinese Food place here in Amarillo. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I hated it took us so long to find it. The food was absolutely amazing. It will definitely be a regular restaurant we go to. Thank you to Pacific Rim for a wonderful first experience, hoping for many more to come. By the way, sorry about the messy Kung pow chicken picture. When it got there, I tore into it so fast that I forgot to take a picture of the presentation. Wanted to make a correction in my post. After I posted it I noticed it we had ordered two years ago to go. That was really, very first moved here. And I totally forgot about the place. So excited I found them again.

Yelp reviews pay off once again. It was surprisingly empty with only two tables occupied at 7pm on a Saturday so I'm guessing lots of carry out and deliveries because the kitchen was busy. I ordered take out and it still was ready pretty quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff when I asked about the different spicy heat levels and different foods. I had some hot and sour soup, and the cashew chicken with lo mein noodles and got it medium heat. It was perfect. Hot enough for flavor and a little sting but not so much to ruin eating it in comfort. Portion was great and very flavorful. Wish I lived closer but have a new go to spot anytime in town. Highly recommended.

Decor is more Thai than Japan, nothing memorable. Service? Also fine & courteous - you'll get what you need, just not much extra. The menu moment: Lots of varieties of Thai dishes and Japanese rolls. What I tried: Pad Kee Mao (#58) -- Stir-fried udon with a full house of meats, shrimp, and veggies. Spicy, saucy, and hits the spot if you're craving pan-fried noodles. Solid portion for $14.95 -- and the one thing I'd come back for. Crispy Tofu (#5) -- Tried it for the first time... and probably the last. Didn't quite land for me. $8.95. The takeaway: Nothing really stands out here, but it gets the job done if you're in the mood for Thai-style noodles. The know before you go: No dessert. Translation: no mango sticky rice. Tragic. Next on deck: Ceviche Salad (#89) -- because curiosity wins. The bottom line: Worth it if you're nearby and want a quick noodle fix. Just keep expectations in check (and maybe skip the tofu).
