If you'd like more traditional TexMex, there are some entrées toward the back of the menu that will probably scratch that itch. However, this really isn't your typical place. Instead, you will find unique flavors with beautiful presentation. Today I had the tostada Agasajo and my husband had the quesadilla Plato with beef. He said the beef was prepared very well with delicious strips of steak not just ground beef. Someone else on here complained about their salsa with the carrot shreds in it, but I find it surprising and delicious. They offer a red salsa as well, if you'd like something more traditional. We're coming back.

I had the Hibachi teriyaki steak, which was served with tender grilled vegetables over a bed of fried rice. Steak was perfectly grilled, wasn't tough at all, and the sauce & seasoning were perfect. Very generous portions. Don't go here expecting fancy exterior or lavish interior decorations. Just a nice neat & clean place to eat a great meal. The attached picture is sorta skewed, that's a good sized platter and it's a big serving.

Everything was flavorful, beautifully presented, and you could tell they take pride in what they're serving. The only thing I will say is that my dad is in a wheelchair, and the entrance could definitely be more accessible. It was difficult getting him in and out, so I'd love to see them make that area easier for wheelchair access. Other than that, great food and a great experience! Definitely one of those places that makes you forget you're eating sushi in West Texas. Highly recommend!

We placed a pickup order through Toast at 5:54 PM with a promised pickup time of 6:30 PM…read more We arrived at 6:35 PM and were told the order wasn't ready. When I asked when it would be ready, the hostess said she didn't know and asked us to wait in the lobby or in our car. We waited with our young children until about 7:05 PM before asking for another update. Instead of providing an estimated wait time or apologizing, the hostess immediately told me that there were a lot of orders ahead of ours and that I needed to understand they were busy. I had approached politely and was simply trying to find out when we could expect our food. When I became frustrated, she said she was "just the hostess" and that she and the server were only trying to help by asking what was in our order. I completely understand that restaurants get busy and delays happen. What was unacceptable was the lack of communication and the dismissive customer service. No one could tell us whether our food would be ready in five minutes or another hour. Because we were traveling and had young children with us, we couldn't continue waiting indefinitely. We ultimately requested a refund and left without our food after waiting more than 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. Delays are understandable. Poor communication and treating customers as though they're unreasonable for asking for an update are not. I hope the restaurant improves both its pickup process and how it communicates with customers when orders are running behind.

In some reviews the lack of options is mentioned, however we were quite shocked at the variety of options. (taco bar, salad bar, chicken nuggets, pizza, and more) They ask you to tip when you first pay for the buffet which is odd because you do not know what the service will be like, however the service was still fantastic, despite the tip being set before we sat down. There was a lot of mention of singing, unfortunately we didn't get any singing on this visit, slightly disappointed about that as it was a primary reason we went. We will absolutely be back.

They had lots of Chinese American food prepared the way people that are not familiar with real Chinese food. Asked to pay and sign a blank credit card slip with tip and total blank, saying we can come back and add a tip. That was real difficult for them. Total it out and use cash for tip. Waitress asked if everything was good and cleared away plates (standard). Food mostly cold after sitting in trays. Boiled shrimp hard to eat. They need to cut the back of the shell and underside to make easy to peel. It only takes a little more time and most importantly clean out the poop trail that runs along the back. I gave up when I saw that. The best food was the Mongolian BBQ. One cook with a flat top could cook up to three plates. It was hot and tasted good. Customer can choose veg and meat (chx, beef) at small food area. The chicken was too large for a forkful and cook can't cut it. I added my sauces and found serving tongs in the chili oil when I was dipping it out. Food items and grill separated by access to and from kitchen. So not much room to stand before getting to small grill top. Management should rethink and put in common round Mongolian grill with two cooks at the side of the food area. Men's room door was propped open, and one can watch customers exiting without washing hands and then using food tongs and ladles. One older woman was wandering around grazing by taking food with her fingers and eating it as she went from food table to another. Management should enforce taking food on plates to customer's table. I hope they figure it out as it looks like it can be a very nice eatery once they take a turn on doing things. IDK what I was thinking as a visitor to TX BBQ country.
