The food is good and the portions are good. It's a bit pricey. The restaurant was so hot we were all fanning and sweating the entire time we were there. The service wasn't terrible, but they added an automatic sir charge of 20% to everyone of our tickets.

Had two bathrooms as normal, but one was a mens then the other was a mens and womens. Uhm (excuse my language) wtf? Trump store right in the front, very political. Food was good, service was a bit slow, took a bit to get out appetizer overall it was eh

My husband and I had such an amazing time here! The service didn't rush us and it honestly was such a nice paced meal. The coolest part about this was eating on a boat! It was truly such a great looking restaurant!

The decor is the only thing good about this place. The thunderstorm on a ship is such a cute idea & people remember that. The food is VERY Americanized food and is mostly seasoned with lots of salt, pepper & butter. We had to as for our server to get all 3 of our drinks filled. I was so excited when our cook came out & was a woman but no dice! Pretty much she cooked our food in front of us, make a onion volcano & make some noises with their broken utensils.

Scallops, chicken, salmon and veggies, oh my!

What a lovely dinner! The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was so gooood! The sushi chef is off on Wednesday, but that's okay, the hibachi is the star of the show anyways. From the light savory soup, refreshing lettuce salad with citrus dressing, to the entree cooked to order and seasoned in front of you, the delicious smells will definitely awaken your appetite. I especially loved the experience of eating in the boat and rain storm. My family and I had a great time.

The Big Texan Steak Ranch is definitely an experience, not just a meal!…read more We went all in and ordered the ribeye, brisket, and ribs with sides of green chili creamed corn, fried okra, and cowboy beans. The steak was flavorful and tender, the ribs literally fell off the bone, and the brisket was solid and satisfying. The standout for me? The green chili creamed corn and fried okra, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The cowboy beans were okay... just beans, nothing special compared to the rest of the meal. Service was superb, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And of course, the entertainment factor is real! While we were there, we watched someone attempt the famous 72 oz steak challenge. Fun fact: it's actually cheaper to take the challenge and pay less than to just order the steak outright. That alone tells you how legendary this place is. If you're in Amarillo, this is a must-stop for both the food and the atmosphere.

My dad…read morehas been talking about this restaurant non-stop since the last time he drove through the area, all of the billboards advertising the 72 oz steak challenge really drew him in. We took a stop here for lunch recently. Our server was okay, pretty bare minimum service and I had to ask for water refills. I liked the fried pickle appetizer, however I felt the pickle spears were too thick. Andreas were good, I really enjoyed the quesadilla and my dad enjoyed his steak. There's a bit of a communal vibe inside, with long tables where you are sat next to other parties. It was fun to talk to other people also going on road trips and talk about where they're coming from and going to.

I eat a wide variety of foods from all over and yet there's something about a burger from Coyote Bluff that just hits the spot. It's an appropriately rustic dinning area with a distinct if not unassuming exterior. Come here is your in the mood for burgers. You won't regret it!

When you walk in, If they have a table available, they will direct you to it, otherwise they will take your last name and tell you to go back outside and wait until they call your name. The menu is fairly straightforward so orders turned around pretty quick and it was a maximum of 20 to 25 minute wait to turn a table. My husband ordered the Hell burger which had the hot sauce on it and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely fantastic as well as the shoestring fries were very good! Hubs really liked that his burger had a ton of peppers on it as well as the hot sauce so he felt like he was getting his daily vegetable allotment, lol! The service was actually pretty quick again, I believe this is because the menu was super simple and they had a ton of regulars coming in. You can also order to go if you don't want to wait as several people did, and my understanding is the packaging is fantastic so just as good as if you were sitting in the restaurant. The place is super small and there are tons of stuff on the wall so it's an interesting place. Service was friendly and efficient and now we can check this one off our checklist that we have been here when driving through Amarillo!

And I thought I made good steak at home....go to Costco grab a USDA Prime Rib Eye...cast iron pan…read moregrill it...and remember the Bearnaise Sauce... Aside from the Seafood Fondeaux being a little on the saltier side...Saltgrass Steakhouse is probably the #1 Steakhouse here in Amarillo Texas (just my opinion)...if I had to leave one two word adjective to describe my entire experience today at this Steak House...."Michelin Worthy." Obviously not at Joel Robuchon level, but they sure execute everything like Brick & Mortar Steakhouse would be expected on Rodeo Drive. Perfect Medium Rare, Great baked sweet potatoes with that foam melt butter, garlic butter and grilled shrimp were cherries on top of the pie as a Steak Add-on, phenomenal balsamic vinegarette fused Blue Cheese crumbs Wedge Salad, and the Seafood Fondeaux was as if you married lobster bisque with creme spinach and queso, a superb starter. Premium Service by Isabel, top notch multitasker handling the bar, and multiple fronts. A well put together Southern Cowboy country Interior with very fitting country music. First time at Saltgrass, and what are my last thoughts? Definitely on my recommend list to anyone looking for a casual weekday steak lunch or dinner. Worth the spend! Edit: ***oh...pshhh no wonder, this steakhouse is sister restaurants with Mastros and Morton's~~ It's like the Swatch Group, if Mastros was Breguet, then Morton's would be Omega, and Saltgrass...Longines.

Do NOT slow down, stop, but run away! Seriously…read more I placed an order while traveling because I have been to this franchise in the location where my parents are and really enjoyed the food and service. This location is not your place to stop. Nor place on online order. I ordered early, when I arrived I was told they were out of one of the items as I stood there looking at it in the case. I said it would be fine to substitute. I was ignored, the very nasty tattooed young lady NEVER looked up the order and just said I was going to wait. I watched other people who came in after get there orders. I noticed that all the women would only speak to men "oh so sweet" until a black man came in who was National of Islam faith. He too placed an online order. Such a nice a calm and nice person, he in no way deserved how he was treated. When I asked the young lady where/when my order would be ready she was uncivil. She told me I could cancel the order (which I could not) and she would not cancel the order. Funny they can not fulfill the order and not supply the correct items and feel they get away with that. This is so wrong. There was a woman who came out to find out what the problem was and SHE is the person who Did Not correctly fill the order and complained about she didn't know where her head was when another person asked about their order Please take my advice and do NOT go to this place there are too many problems, no resolution and no one (but my bank) who would answer over 12 attempted calls. Save yourself time, trouble, poor food and poor treatment... go to a drive through.
