It was a risky decision, but I'm an artist and had a vision. A vision that was executed perfectly. I hired Alfredo and his team because: 1. Alfredo is a genuinely humble, kind, and organized man 2. His pricing was very, very reasonable 3. He only uses the best paint and is honest with his pricing 4. I could see by the photos here he has an eye for detail and does phenomenal work 5. His workers are friendly and polite Alfredo is incredibly efficient and got the job done on time, despite my adding on a few extra projects (large gate, gazebo, mailbox, address marker) last minute (I'm so sorry for that, Alfredo!). His work is immaculate - everyone who sees it is blown away at how good it looks. I'd normally have to do touch up work to make lines crisp, but with Visalia Painting there was no need. He even repaired some areas that had wood rot, caulked cracks in my siding, and cleaned up old paint mistakes from 20 years ago! Plus, there was not a single piece of mess left behind, everything was clean and where it belonged. There were no hidden charges, no bs. Just beautiful work and honesty. Warning; steer clear of Sequoia Painting. When I contacted Sequoia Painting in October 2025 to talk…read morewith them about painting the exterior of my house, I talked with Emily about the job. It turned out it was too late in the year to proceed due to possible severe weather since I live in the mountains and the paint I researched and wanted to use was not viable in cold or wet weather. When I contacted Sequoia Paint again in July 2026, not only had the personnel changed but the phone numbers changed as well. I mention that because there may be big problems with this company that cause them to lose personnel and change phone numbers. I proceeded anyway to have an estimator come to my house. I was interested in a specific paint that is fire retardant from a company called Andek. When Justin the estimator came, he worked with me to fill a questionnaire related to the paint. I found that strange but did it anyway. The next day, I realized that Justin had switched to a different paint from a different company called Shield Industries without consulting with or informing me. When I emailed to clarify, Justin was beyond rude to me, gaslighting and blaming me for the confusion about paints and companies. I'm not willing to be treated with disdain by a contractor. Thankfully, I do have another contractor I've met with who has both a stellar reputation and is a wonderfully decent human being. I will be giving the other contractor my business.
