After purchasing our house we decided to get bids to do some interior painting. I contacted another company and Alfredo with Visalia Painting. I have never used them before, but there were good reviews on Yelp, so I gave them a call. Alfredo was very quick to respond and we scheduled a time for him to come look it over. My wife and I made the bidding complicated because we had decided to only paint portions of the house but I asked both painters to give us an option on the quote to paint the entire interior as well (3,500 sf). Alfredo responded with a bid very quickly (the next day) and was significantly less cost than the other company. As soon as I accepted Alfredo's bid he worked our house into the schedule immediately. He met me at the house, with color samples that I had selected, which matched what we wanted perfectly He ordered paint that night and the next day they were there masking everything off. We decided to go ahead and paint the entire house. All walls, ceilings, base board, crown molding, doors and all cabinets that had previously been painted. The crew took three days masking the house (they were very attentive to detail) before applying any paint. I was impressed when they did start painting that they were spraying but then back rolling... this is important to be able to touch up paint down the road and not all painters do this. Alfredo was great at communicating if there are any questions or concerns and is open to communication from me as well. I had some tweaks that I wanted to make; patching extra items here and there, changing out thermostats, removing alarm components and they were all handled by Alfredo without any issue. Toward the end of the job, Alfredo suggested that he could change out our old can lights if we so desired. I decided to go ahead and Alfredo purchased and installed them. He charged me for the cost of the lights and installed them without added la or cost. We are so happy with how they look. We are so pleased with how the painting turned out. Visalia Painting made all of the painting look great, they paid attention to the details and they thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished. They worked with our schedule and finished our house on schedule and for the amount originally quoted. I would recommend Visalia Painting without any reservation and am planning to use them on our next painting project! read more

Alfredo and his company deserve 6 stars! They are by far the best painting company we've ever worked with (and we've renovated 12+ houses over the last 20 years). We hired Visalia Painting to paint the exterior of our newly renovated house and we are VERY pleased with every aspect of the job done. Alfredo is extremely professional, showed up on time, clean & well presented, with great communication... and the paint job is perfect! He took his time (but finished well within the time frame he quoted) and checked with us every step of the way to make sure he did exactly what we wanted him to do. We had to defer to his expertise with some trim paint decisions, and we are SO happy with the result (and he was very patient when I kept changing my mind.) At the end of the job, after everything was put away, he took one last look around the exterior and found a 2" spot that needed touching up. He ran back to his truck to get his paint brush and do it.... now that is PROFESSIONAL! Plus, he cleaned up after himself and didn't leave one piece of trash behind (most contractors do NOT do that)! Alfredo and his crew deserves more than a 5-Star rating for the DETAILED exterior paint job they did on my house and patio and believe me I knew it was going to be a challenge. Pro's 1) Personable and well-verse in his craft-He took the time to explain what he was going to do and if I had any questions, it was thoroughly explained. 2) Attention to detail-The crew took their time and did not rush the job and was meticulous from start to finish. 3) Professional and Punctual-Started at 7:00 am or 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and was mindful to let me know he was showing up early if it was before 8:00. 4) Taking pride in his work-The proof is in the pudding, the finish product says it all. 4) Over achiever-The service provided was well beyond my expectations. We have had Visalia painting paint the inside of 2 houses for us. The first house I requested special paint to be used for medical reasons. Alfredo had never used or heard of this paint before. They did an excellent job my wife and I are very happy. Everything turned out perfect. They also painted a custom built shed couldn't be happier with the job they did. On our other home they painted the inside with the paint Alfredo recommended looks great. Have had lots of comments about how great it looks, and have been asked several times who did the painting as we are selling it. Visalia painting also did some outside work on it looks like a new home. We are beyond pleased with all the work that Visalia Painting has done for us. Before we hired them had a few other quotes they were more reasonable or about the same. Visalia Painting will be are go to painters on any jobs I need done. I have been working with Visalia painting for the past two weeks and have had an amazing experience so far. Alfredo and his team have been so good about understanding my vision for the house. They are professional and extremely nice. I have had to switch some things up and they are always willing to make the changes I need, even last minute. Renovating a home involves a lot of difficult decisions and he understands that and is always willing to go the extra mile and is understanding when things change. Visalia Painting took on a big project for me. They painted the interior of my entire house. Walls. Ceilings and even did my kitchen cabinets and some cabinets that are built in. They installed all new hardware on my kitchen cabinets and doors. They also installed new baseboards. So far everything is looking AMAZING. It is quality work and on schedule. After receiving several quotes, my husband and I decided to go with Visalia Painting because we noticed how attentive to detail Alfredo was as he looked around our home and then later prepared our estimate. I needed to line up a painter for my elderly dad. Even reading reviews, sometimes I find it difficult to know if I've made a good choice. Visalia painting was an excellent choice. Alfredo got back to me within 5 minutes of my quote request (one of the painters here on Yelp never bothered). He was able to set up a walk-through for the very next morning, and provided a winning quote - I mean a really good deal. That great price didn't mean they skimped on anything. They did outstanding work on an interior paint job, and even threw in painting some doors that my cheapskate dad wanted to skip. Visalia Painting completed our house exterior in May. It had not been painted in many years and needed some siding repair. I was happy to find he could handle the needed repairs along with painting. Alfredo and his crew did a fantastic job- with attention to detail and were careful in all aspects. I am so very happy with the results! Excellent,...excellent....excellent company. Just had the exterior of my home repainted, as well as framing of 5 windows. My home had not been repainted in at least 18 years so there was a lot of prep work to be done. Alfredo (company owner) and one employee completed the job in just about 4 1/2 days.
