An overall poor poor paint job that did not finish the job. Art had a miscommunication with his office manager, Claudia, and did not paint the ceilings. How could a professions painter do this? There were marks on the ceiling... new flooring everywhere, fresh paint on the walls, ceilings was a no brainer.

I met Art Dixon at the Fresno Home Show and he stood out in a confusing and overwhelming sea of contractors. He was funny and outgoing and assured me he would be true to his word. We had been dealing with contractors and home repairs for several months and some horrible experiences: calls never returned, projects started and not completed and a couple of no shows. The single best thing about dealing with Art and his crew was that they always did what they said they would! They were easy to reach, returned messages quickly, showed up on time every single day of a long project and followed through on every commitment and request without fail. We also appreciated his suggestions with everything from upgrades to paint color, as we were often overwhelmed. His suggestions for kitchen lighting was something we hadn't considered and it was a fantastic decision. He even helped us save money by repairing rather than replacing when possible. He suggested a wall color that is absolutely perfect, much better than what we had originally selected. The biggest part of the project was completely repainting the entire interior of the house. Art's team (big thanks to Craig) worked so hard to make the project easy. They worked with our schedule, assisted the timing so we never needed to stay away from home at night, were extremely clean and professional, and even accommodated a finicky indoor cat. There were no shortcuts - everything was covered, everything was taped and everything was painted beautifully. The lines are so clean. We have not had a single issue or concern, which is surprising given the size of the project. As I said, they were on time every day and finished exactly when promised with n problems or extra charges. Our home has completely transformed and looks absolutely beautiful! Thanks Dixon Painting! We can't wait to get the outside painted next!

Excellent all around experience with Francisco!!! I…read morecontacted 6 Fresno/Clovis painting companies, requesting a quote to do the entire interior of a 1,100sq ft condo. Francisco was the first to respond and was able to come out in person the next day and do a detailed quote for all interior, base color and trim, plus 2 bathrooms and kitchen cabinetry. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional; and after reviewing another company's quote I chose Francisco's. He and the painting crew came out the following week and began working. Francisco did a great job communicating during the painting process, and he helped me select the right color (I had a darker color in mind, but he did multiple tests and we both agreed a lighter Gray worked better in the space). He sent updates daily, and the crew was hardworking and polite the few times I went by to see how things were going. They were able to finish the project in 5 days, and their work was exceptional!!!! I can't believe how crisp and clean every line is, how much the color choices improved the space and I'm so thrilled with their workmanship. Thank you very much Francisco!!!

They did end up working half days due to the heat. They rushed through, and even painted around things - like the ant stakes - as well as using our garbage cans for all their trash, making a pile of trash near our home, and leaving trash in random places in our yards. Now, the paint is peeling and it's OUR fault because we "didn't understand" what was explained to us. BS. As well, the owner left a very nice public message on YELP offering to talk about the issue, bwhen we private messaged him he never responded. That says a lot The fact is, it was over 100, the place needed work, and they simply didn't want to put in the time or effort. We didn't misunderstand or fail yo comprehend anything. It was just a poorly done job. 3 stars because at least it's not a hideous beige color anymore & one of the guys came & picked up the pile of trash.

Casey and his team did an amazing job on our hall and master bathroom--everything looks super clean and professional. I also want to call out Luis, who was awesome to work with. He explained what they planned to get done each day, checked in with us before they wrapped up, and even had us do a walk-through to make sure everything looked good. Super easygoing and very professional. What really stood out overall was the communication. Casey coordinated directly with our contractor on timing so we didn't have to stress about anything, gave me a timeline (later followed up to confirm the timeline), and he was always quick to answer my questions. We're already planning to have his team come back to paint the rest of the interior because the experience has been that good. Highly recommend! Want to mention this was for my parents' home (me being the primary POC), so there was an added layer of communication. Thanks for working with us, Casey!

Not sure what happened between the promise and the execution. Throughout the house, some parts felt like only 1 layer of paint was delivered. Other parts are beautifully done as promised and the paint looks good. In some areas, the under paint can still be faintly seen in patches. A hole in the wall was not properly patched before painted over. The backsplash was not properly cleaned before the coat of paint went over it. Now we have an oily wall with paint over it. Some parts of the house was completely missed. When asked to redo the parts that were missed and complete the touch up, no more material was purchased/brought over to the house. The left over bit of paint was expected to cover the whole bathroom that got dismissed in the initial paint job. When questioned at the time of the job, the response was, "I don't think so," but he'll order another bucket of paint. Which he didn't. The job was rushed after we have given multiple opportunities (2 weeks span) to complete the work from the initial completion date. No primer, no roller. Simply a brush and very little paint. I'm not satisfied with the complete finish, even with the 2nd opportunity to finish and retouch. I was really hoping that Luis would deliver. I do however appreciate his willingness to lower the price for the mediocre job and not meeting expectations.
