I initially found the company looking on Yelp and several people before me seemed to be impressed. I requested a quote with this company and four others. Robert replied the quickest and I should have just gone with him right then. Hands down the best painter you can contract in the Central Valley! We needed to have our bathroom cabinets painted (3 bathrooms in total) and despite having a significant backlog of work he came in during the weekend and did an incredible job leaving the cabinets looking like new. We gave him our desired completion date, and he met it early, even with some surprise complications that arose. Turned out he needed to frame, patch, and texture a large (~8'x8') section of a wall, and it looks great! I hired Robert for a large residential job recently. We have a large house with 28 foot ceilings and needed that painted as well as some halls and large stair areas. I knew it would not be a normal job and would require someone with equipment, skill and the crew to handle the job. I had 3 contractors out to quote the job including Robert. Robert was definitely the best priced, but what impressed me was not only the reviews he gets on Yelp, but the follow up and professionalism he showed. He was the only one who would return my calls or texts timely, and he came out and quoted the job and gave me a realistic idea of the timeline. We got an added bonus for a very modest additional fee as well when he offered to paint our laundry cabinets and a built in kitchen bench, and also gave us the idea to paint instead of stain our staircase rail. Bottom line, it took 4 days, just as he quoted. His crew were great and very professional. They were considerate of our floors and my family, and did a great job painting the entire space. As a business owner myself, I don't usually write reviews of other businesses but this guy left such a bad impression on me that I would never recommend him to anyone. First of all, I only signed up for Yelp to contact businesses for a remodel of a home I own in Fresno. I contacted Robert to get an estimate for painting my house. I live 2 hours away. I met with him last weekend to get an estimate for painting the interior and exterior. He wasn't particularly friendly and asked me if I was getting other estimates (he said so in a way that made me feel he didn't want the job). So after he was done, he said he would give me an estimate by Wednesday. Here it is Saturday and no estimate yet. I have contacted him by phone and here through Yelp but he hasn't bothered to respond. This guy is a complete jerk and should think about how he treats people. If he didn't want the job, he should have just said so and not waste my time waiting for an estimate that he was never going to give. I met with 3 other painters who gave me an estimate the same day and showed interest in doing the job for me.
