I met Art Dixon at the Fresno Home Show and he stood out in a confusing and overwhelming sea of contractors. He was funny and outgoing and assured me he would be true to his word. We had been dealing with contractors and home repairs for several months and some horrible experiences: calls never returned, projects started and not completed and a couple of no shows. The single best thing about dealing with Art and his crew was that they always did what they said they would! They were easy to reach, returned messages quickly, showed up on time every single day of a long project and followed through on every commitment and request without fail. We also appreciated his suggestions with everything from upgrades to paint color, as we were often overwhelmed. His suggestions for kitchen lighting was something we hadn't considered and it was a fantastic decision. He even helped us save money by repairing rather than replacing when possible. He suggested a wall color that is absolutely perfect, much better than what we had originally selected. The biggest part of the project was completely repainting the entire interior of the house. Art's team (big thanks to Craig) worked so hard to make the project easy. They worked with our schedule, assisted the timing so we never needed to stay away from home at night, were extremely clean and professional, and even accommodated a finicky indoor cat. There were no shortcuts - everything was covered, everything was taped and everything was painted beautifully. The lines are so clean. We have not had a single issue or concern, which is surprising given the size of the project. As I said, they were on time every day and finished exactly when promised with n problems or extra charges. Our home has completely transformed and looks absolutely beautiful! Thanks Dixon Painting! I would implore you to seek services with another company that had been in business for a much longer time and has true positive reviews. The one with eve replacement was the highest of the four quotes and the one without was the third highest. I looked at the reviews from the four companies. I took my time to make a choice and Marvin and MV Kings reached out to see if I had any questions before my final decision. In the end the combination of the detailed quote, the follow ups and the reviews won me over. From the first meeting with Marvin he was professional, friendly and listened to my feedback. Throughout the process he kept me informed and was on time to all of his commitments. We had a little rain delay but he communicated and met the expectation. Overall the experience dealing with Marvin and MV Kings was pleasant and professional. Now the part I'm sure you really want to know....did they do a good job? Yes, the final product and detailed workmanship is beautiful. The job was no small task with a tri-level home on a hill in the country. From the patch work, board replacement, to the two tone paint, with a third color for the doors, to the final cleanup, a great job. Everything was properly masked off, bad siding boards were replaced and the new light fixtures we purchased were installed at the end of the job. Marvin and MV Kings did a great job and I am pleased with the overall experience and final product. Marvin seemed like a good person who wants to do a good job for his customers and takes pride in his craft. I certainly would recommend Marvin and MV Kings to others!
