They just got done with my house I have not been happier. They said they would be at my house at 06:00. The workers were out front at 5:30 the owner at 05:57 on time both days. It was a great price and gave me ideas on house colors. There are other companies out there do not waste your time. Fred Crumrine read more

One again Jake and his crew have done an excellent job painting my old, tired cabinets. Jake painted my kitchen cabinets a few years ago,so when I decided to have my bathroom cabinets painted, I called A Plus custom painting. There was no question about who I wanted to do the job for me. I really appreciate the attention to detail, respect for my property, and overall excellent painting job that was done. When they were finished they did a great job cleaning up. Paula was great at keeping me updated on when my project would get underway. My cabinets look great! Thank you A Plus Custom Painting! read more

Just had my two story, 1890 Victorian home painted (4 colors and lots of detail) by A Plus Custom Painting. It was a big job! Jake, Paula, Luke & crew were very professional and a pleasure to work with! The communication from them was excellent! I knew what to expect from start to finish! I had four bids for the job. I chose A Plus Custom Painting for three main reasons: 1. They specified the type and brand of paint they would be using for the job unlike the other bids. 2. Jake (the owner) said he would be on the job everyday with his crew. 3. Their price was fair. They take pride in their work and it shows! I highly recommend this company and will use them again! read more

We had the exterior and one room of our house painted. Jake and Javier could not have been more professional and exemplary in every part of the job. They did far more prep work (power washing, repairs and masking) than I expected. The end result also exceeded our expectations. The price was good and the job was accomplished in a very timely way. They were also meticulous in their clean up. We are extremely happy that we picked them to do this job. read more

They showed up and promptly started work. I had just a very small job, one wall in the bathroom and the frame of a slider that Lowes had put in and did not paint. They painted this and the one wall and were in and out very quickly. The job looked great! I said there was no rush to do the job they came on Friday to give me a quote and the next Friday morning it was done. I was so glad to have it done painlessly. I had called other companies and they came and never called to give me an estimate, guess it was too small a job for them. I would highly recommend them. Quality was high and price was low. read more

From start to finish Taylor and Joe were amazing to work with. First of all, they were on time every day driving from Orlando to The Villages. When they were finished my house looked fabulous! I went from brown to light green, beige trim and black front door. They covered plants, moved rock in the landscape and took pride in their work! They worked non-stop in the heat to get the job done and were pleasant all the time. I would recommend Taylor and his A Plus Painting company, easily with 5 Stars. read more

These folks are very thorough and do wonderful work. Highly recommended! Couldn't be more pleased with how the house turned out.

Jake and Luke did a fantastic job painting our house. Jake is hard working and his attention to detail made us feel like he was painting the outside of our house as if he was painting his own. Jake, Paula and Luke were fantastic. They did a great job fixing two prior horrible paint jobs. Paula always communicating with me on on their schedule and when they were coming out. Jake and Luke really took the time to go through my house to find the issues from the previous contractors. They were sure to make sure it was the correct paint. All were in communication throughout the job and were great to work with.  I also love that they don't just drop a crew off and leave. The owner is doing the work and staying on top of everything. They really take pride in their work, and do fantastic work. My father was a painter, a true craftsman...he would have been impressed by the work A-Plus did on my house.  They're also very honest and contentious. They called me up to let me know that there was some slight damage to a ceiling fan blade. They had already ordered replacements. They had them in a couple of days and took care of it. Seriously, fantastic people! read more

I was extremely impressed with A Plus Custom Painting! My husband and I were in a pinch to find a painter and they came out within minutes to give us an estimate! They were courteous and fast! I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

We had a barn door installed in our house a few days before Christmas. The barn door installers don't paint these doors so we needed a painter quickly. We called Jake at A-Plus Custom Painting. We spoke to Jake and he came out the same day and gave us a quote. His prices are reasonable so we decided to use Jake. Jake arrived to paint our barn door just a few days before Christmas and did an amazing job. Jake also took the time to caulk around the door jam as the door jam was replaced when the door was installed. Thank You Jake. read more

We put off painting our exterior because we thought it was overwhelming to get the house prepped for painting and there is the actual painting. But we got lucky. We received a very reasonable bid from A-Plus Custom Painting and a week after they arrived we have a 50 year old house that looks brand new. They performed detailed preparation and the paint detail that I thought would be a nightmare was done to perfection. These Guys Know what they are doing. Wonderful experience and an amazing job! We couldn't be more thrilled with the exterior of our house! Quality job, reliable people, smooth process. Couldn't have asked for a better experience Thanks A-Plus! Now for some details... A-Plus always answered or called back in a timely manner. They also came right out to quote the job, like within hours, and they gave me a quote right then! His price was fair and they seemed like genuine people. Jake explained exactly what the process would look like so I knew just what to expect, and his wife was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and in person when they came by to help me choose colors. The entire process was went super smooth. I was so impressed. The crew did an amazing job and were all very nice people to have working around the house. My husband and I have used Jake for many painting projects in our home. Jake shows pride in his work and doesn't just slap the paint on the walls and goes home. We have used Jacob to paint our house before, both times the job was exterior. From our initial phone call to his office (his wife, Paula receives the calls) to the final clean up, Jacob does an impeccable job. He is dependable, hard -working, honest and goes above and beyond the call of duty. For instance, when he pressure washed our house, he also cleaned out our rain gutters (which were full of leaves and debris!). In addition, one of our columns rotted at the bottom and I was going to have a handyman fix it. Unbeknownst to me, Jacob did the repair himself and it looks great! Our house looks brand new; his attention to the minutest details is really an asset. When others are trying to "cut corners" Jacob does way more than what is expected. I would highly recommend Jacob and A-Plus to anyone wanting quality work at a reasonable price. read more

We weren't sure if it was okay to have the house painted in the winter time. Jake the owner assured us that they use the best paint and that as long as it wasn't raining at the time, it would dry within half hour. We checked the paint several times half hour after it was applied and he was right. Our son-in-law who is in construction walked around the house when the house was done and was very impressed with the work, as were we. read more

Jake's attention to detail is what sold me. He really knows his business and takes the time to make sure that the final product looks perfect. He gave us great advice on sheen and color matching and worked hard with our contractor to get our crown molding painted before installation and before we had to move in. I would HIGHLY recommend him again! read more

My mom never got a call that their painting was delayed and she had to call them to find out what was going on. They were doing another job that was painting outside, that my mom of course didn't know about, and the lady told her that 'you should have known it was going to be delayed because of the rain'. Well her painting is inside the house, so they can paint during rain. She ended up asking for a little bit off of the price for the inconvenience and the lady was being very snappy at her and told her to just go get someone else and hung up on my mom. read more

We have used A-Plus for the painting of kitchen cabinets in our rental property and most recently for the exterior of our home. I can't praise this company enough. Before painting they repaired stucco cracks and hand sanded bad places on the wood areas, even patched up a doggie door and matched stucco perfectly. Everything was covered properly, not a drop of paint anywhere and their cleanup after the job was completed was top notch. After the first coat of paint we discovered the color wasn't exactly what we had in mind. Jake, the owner, immediately stopped what he was doing and went to paint store with us so the color could be customized to meet our vision. And to top off the whole experience, Jake and his staff are a pure delight to work with...we actually had fun. If you want your job done to perfection, this is the company to use. read more

Jake Joosten of A-Plus Custom Painting is an honest, hardworking individual who truly goes out of his way to ensure that his customers are happy. My husband and I made a bad color choice and didn't like the way our house turned out, (the quality of work had nothing to do with our dissatisfation, the paint job was very well done) and Jake made the time to re-paint our house another color. The problem was NOT his, but he MADE it his. The name of this company speaks for itself. Workmanship is outstanding, and the service is personal. Would recommend this company to any and everyone. read more
