It was a risky decision, but I'm an artist and had a vision. A vision that was executed perfectly. I hired Alfredo and his team because: 1. Alfredo is a genuinely humble, kind, and organized man 2. His pricing was very, very reasonable 3. He only uses the best paint and is honest with his pricing 4. I could see by the photos here he has an eye for detail and does phenomenal work 5. His workers are friendly and polite Alfredo is incredibly efficient and got the job done on time, despite my adding on a few extra projects (large gate, gazebo, mailbox, address marker) last minute (I'm so sorry for that, Alfredo!). His work is immaculate - everyone who sees it is blown away at how good it looks. I'd normally have to do touch up work to make lines crisp, but with Visalia Painting there was no need. He even repaired some areas that had wood rot, caulked cracks in my siding, and cleaned up old paint mistakes from 20 years ago! Plus, there was not a single piece of mess left behind, everything was clean and where it belonged. There were no hidden charges, no bs. Just beautiful work and honesty. I ABSOLUTELY recommend Visalia Painting and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors. 100% satisfied and will be using them again, when it's time to do my interior! UPDATE: Just had them come back to do my interior and it looks GREAT. I still stand by my review above. Give these guys a try. You'll see - the best choice is Visalia Painting!

Right from the start, Michael gave us a straightforward quote with no hidden surprises. He was very prompt, showed up exactly when he said he would, and worked super hard! Great attention to detail, the lines along the trim and doors are clean, and there wasn't any mess left behind on our driveway or entryway. I added some before and after pictures so you can see how much better the curb appeal looks now. We are already planning to hire him again in the future to paint. If you need a reliable painter who does clean work and gives an honest price, he's definitely worth a call. Thanks again Michael!

Warning; steer clear of Sequoia Painting. When I contacted Sequoia Painting in October 2025 to talk…read morewith them about painting the exterior of my house, I talked with Emily about the job. It turned out it was too late in the year to proceed due to possible severe weather since I live in the mountains and the paint I researched and wanted to use was not viable in cold or wet weather. When I contacted Sequoia Paint again in July 2026, not only had the personnel changed but the phone numbers changed as well. I mention that because there may be big problems with this company that cause them to lose personnel and change phone numbers. I proceeded anyway to have an estimator come to my house. I was interested in a specific paint that is fire retardant from a company called Andek. When Justin the estimator came, he worked with me to fill a questionnaire related to the paint. I found that strange but did it anyway. The next day, I realized that Justin had switched to a different paint from a different company called Shield Industries without consulting with or informing me. When I emailed to clarify, Justin was beyond rude to me, gaslighting and blaming me for the confusion about paints and companies. I'm not willing to be treated with disdain by a contractor. Thankfully, I do have another contractor I've met with who has both a stellar reputation and is a wonderfully decent human being. I will be giving the other contractor my business.

Amazing, positive experience!......Prime Painting is professionally run and professionally staffed…read more Armando Arias, the owner, is an experienced painter who has risen through the ranks from apprentice to journeyman union painter and now a contractor. He is honest, friendly and very knowledgable about painting, including preparation, product and application. He listened to us and made helpful suggestions during the discussions about painting the exterior of our house. His estimate was one of three but his was the only one that included sufficient detail and explanation that convinced us that he understood not just what we wanted but what he was getting into with this job. He personally took charge of the contract signing and payments. We feel we received great value for the price. Prime Painting's experienced crew took direction from Mr. Arias and, under his leadership and guidance, they worked side by side with him performing prep work including power washing stucco and patching damaged siding, before launching into the spray painting followed by the detailed hand painting. Communication was very open and timely. Despite, several interruptions by rain followed by some drying out time, the job was completed close to the schedule. The crew even worked on a weekend and at least one nearly 12-hour day to play catch up!! Mr. Arias also went above and beyond and took care of some special requests as part of the overall job. We were so impressed with the work that we commissioned a new job from Prime Painting to coat our patio deck!! We are also planning to use Prime Painting to freshen up the inside of our house because of their attention to detail that is so important with interior trim.
